  I am working on a menu accordion created in Adobe Muse, which is then used in a Folio DPS created in InDesign.

  The menu accordion is in Master Pages articles/documents, total of 6 items.

  Inside the content area of each label are the subtopics which also navigate to different pages in folio (also using the formatting of navto://documentname#page).

  My desire is that when a label is cast and expands, the player can then click on each subtopic go to this page without the menu accordion collapse as he goes to the page.

  I find that 99.9% of the time, the menu collapses. Other times, I get accurate performance I want.

  I'm Ok with the menu to collapse as each label is sunk, but not its subsections.

  I played around with the definition of the properties of the accordions to uncheck 'Collapse All' and unchecking 'Edit Together', but can't change these sections or the text boxes individually. Either, it affects all of THE items in the menu accordion to reduce all or not. No mixing of two adjustment positions.

  In InDesign, it seems indeed that this menu, although on the Master Page, works individually on each page of the document.

  Is there a way to get the features you want, as described above, with the widget menu accordion?

  The only way you would be able to follow the course menu collapsed when you return to the page is to write code in JavaScript to remember State in the localStorage and then read at the time where the menu is opened. When your player navigates to another article (and sometimes even in the same article page) Folio via the menu we delete the previous article from memory and the State will be lost.

• Menu accordion and push content down option does not

  Hello, I have problems trying to get my menu accordion in the 320 and 480 breakpoints to push the content down. I have read other similar issues in the adobe forums but saw that it was because a user was using "effect of scrolling through the menu accordion movement". I don't know what scrolling is movement, and I don't know how to check if this might be the reason why my menu accordion is not pushing my content down. I also saw that pinning the menu accordion can cause this problem, but mine is not pinned either. I already checked the box that says "can close all" and unchecked "overlap the items below.

  In addition, I tried to publish my site on BusinessCatalyst so I could include a link but it does not publish the latest version of my site. He published an earlier version that is not a menu accordion on small breakpoints. Please advise!

  Your last question is probably a cache problem. Clear the cache of your browser, and then try again.

  There is no bug, but expected behavior. Pinned objects are not allowed to influence others. The behavior of older versions of Muse is deemed be a bug by the Muse team.

  My personal opinion: this certainly makes sense. According to me, it's a bizarre behavior, a menu pin, which allows other content to flow beneath him, pushing thie same content down once again, when you use it.

  Before the update from the acrive tab was closed initially.

  "Close it all initially" option in the Panel of the accordion has been replaced by the new behavior that allows an accordion to be reduced in Design view. Refer to the notes of version 4.0 of Muse on the next page for more information on this and other improvements of Widget - http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/muse/release-note/adobe-muse-release-notes.html

  So in your case, you just have to activate the option 'Can close all' for the accordion panel (if it is not enabled already) and close it in Design view in so she can be reduced by default on publish. This is another improvement in widget panel in this version where the Panel selected in Design view will now be selected/active when previewing, export or publish the site on Business Catalyst.

• Accrodion Widget Menu question

  Has anyone already used the Accordion widget in Adobe Muse to serve a menu? Im trying to get cela to fall upward and push the menu down as it appears.

  Here's an example www.linkinpark.com if you click the media button, it shows what I am trying to achieve. Searched a bit on this topic.

  All that is needed to do this is to make sure you check the option may close all. After that, remove all but one of the accordion panels, then place your vertical menu in the content area. Be sure to close the accordion before publishing.

• Bringing the master page in the front and sub navigation menu

  I have two problems with my menu. I have my menus in a master page which was pinned to the top of the page and 'sent to the front', but when you view the pages with that master has been applied, the menu goes behind the content of the page.   To answer your second question:

  • To change the active appearance of the menu items, you must change their appearance of States.

  To do this:

  • Double-click the master page that contains the menu widget
  • Click on the widget to select the full menu.
    
  • With the selected menu, move your cursor over one of the menu items (home, About Us, Contact us etc) and click on the menu item and view the States Panel.
  
  
• You can use the States Panel to modify the appearance of:
  • Normal: inactive appearance that people will see when you do not see the page.
  • Turnover: the appearance that you will see when you move the mouse over a menu item.
  • The mouse down: the appearance when the mouse button is in the "low" position (clicked).
  • Assets: the appearance of your menu item have when someone visits this page.
• Click the active state, make design changes required to select.

Note: By default "Edit together" is enabled for widgets menu, this means that the States of this edition a menu item will automatically apply the same setting to the rest of the menu items.

To do this change the behavior edit together:

• Click on the blue arrow at the top right of the widget to display the options.
• Select or deselect change set.

  I'm using the menu accordion to show a process, step by step, in a manual training. When a user clicks on the next menu item, the menu item closes. I want users to be able to EXPAND ALL and CLOSE all accordions, perhaps by clicking a [+] and [-] next to the menu. How can I do this? Thank you

• Menu accordion without closing the point selection (Mobile site)

  Hi, I am building a site with an accordion menu for scroll a page navigation. The menu works very well because it is closed at the start and goes down on the press to reveal navigation, however once the user selects the item they wish to naviagte to the menu still expanded. Preview of Muse, it's working properly, the accordion of closing, once an item is selected, but in-situ (the site is hosted on BusinessCatalyst), it does not work. I tested on Android and Iphone using the chrome and standard browsers, none of them work as expected. The site is here: www.cordellhouse.com

  I just watched your mobile version, and I could see that it does not close after you make a selection. You can also test it with this link, without using a mobile device:

  I'm afraid it's an incompatibility between an extract of the Muse and the 'real world'. The menu accordion is not destined to become a menu collapse, with the obvious behavior of allowing users to select and navigate. As a matter of fact, in a situation where users would read major texts in an accordion, they wouldn't be happy to close automatically when you navigate to the page. Only refreshing or revisit the page requires the accordion to close itself.

  The only workaround I can think of, is to make it clearer to the user to manually close the menu. (Use an 'x' or something.)

• How to remove a tab in the menu accordion?

  I have a page that I created for my Web site, which offers a menu accordion on that.  Initially, I created the menu in Dreamweaver CS4 using the Spry Accordion Widget, then transferred this code to the page of the site.  The words in the menu, I use images for each dropdown tab menu.  I'm trying to remove the last tab in the menu, but every time I do my entire menu no longer functions and the tabs, when you click on it, is no longer fall down.

  Above is the link to the page I'm working on.  The last tab of the menu called OCD (over the button register now) thought processes.  All I want to do is remove this tab, but when I do, everything on the menu no longer works.

• Issue of duplication of mobile Menu accordion

  I am mobile design and I have an accordion that is put in place as my menu bench in the header of my master page layout.

  Under "Expand Behavior" (the blue play button), I "Overlap the following" UNCHECKED.

  Yet, I have items in the Master Layout that overlaps the accordion and some elements on individual pages that overlaps the accordion.

  The accordion seems to only push of the elements that are placed down or text boxes.

  He rides go in front of my rectangle objects in master, as well as behind my slideshow on my homepage.

  Can anyone offer advice on how to get the accordion does NOT overlap something that lies under the header?

  This will affect my mobile design.

  OK so I found a solution to my accordion menu overlap text and don't not pushing down on the expansion but not ideal seems to work, I just put a small rectangle above the text line with the rectangle tool (you can fill it with the color or simple leave the field blank)-configured full-width and check of course you "Overlap the following" unchecked. Hey presto it works.

• Menu accordion + Indesign DPS

  Hey everybody,

  I have a question about the following question:

  I am currently working on a file and there is need of an accordion menu.

  Of course the menu accordion (rests with) HTML. I'm not a hero to HTML so there are some that will develop the menu.

  But I must integrate the HTML menu in the indesign file as Rufus explains here:

  Each item on the menu will contain the buttons there that eventuall must link to a page in the final file of DPS.

  But here's the trick question:

  As I said earlier, we want to incorporate the menu into the DPS file. So if you click on the menu it should direct you to another page in the final file of DPS...

  Is it possible to use the native "navto: / / ' code in the HTML file? Just like doing it the regular buttons inside indesign?

  We're pretty stuck here... and I can't contact a wizard HTML here, because they don't understand not especially how indesign works...
