  I try to install the vCAC Log Insight Content Pack and tried to download the "vCAC 6.0 Content Pack for installation of Insight Log"document.  He asks me to register, I already did.  This is more than a day and I'm not able to receive the activation e-mail to activate the download of this document.  I wonder if someone has the same problem?  Or, better yet, maybe make the document public?

  I am writing a content pack. I am facing following issues. Can someone help me how to solve or provide the link to the documentation to write the contents of the pack.

  #1 I want to make different colors for the different gravity events such as errors in the red bar in the graph. How to provide this JSON file.

  #2 by default alerts are in disable mode, I would like to know the "JSON" parameter to activate the alert.

  #3 How to deliver mail to report id in the JSON file?

  It is not possible today. That you is impossible to graphics in the web user interface. We are considering this for a future version.

  It is not possible today. Content packs are supposed to be generic, so they can be applied to any instance of Log Insight. Alerts can be configured with either an address of electronic mail or via vCenter operations. Two of these types of alerts will be specific to a particular environment. To activate an alert, you must specify an email address or vCenter information Operations (once again not possible the content pack)

  #3 How to deliver mail to report id in the JSON file?

  Same as #2 - is not possible.

• SharePoint content pack question

  I'm actually setting up the SharePoint content pack, and I can't find the SPServerName.txt file in the scripts folder.  I have to edit this file to enter the name of the database server SharePoint.

  I downloaded the pack of content on the market but this file is not found.  I just can it create?

  Yes you can just create it. Product market has a limit that we can not attach more than just the file content (PMLV) Unfortunately, pack you will need to download scripts, techniques and other vouchers via the exchange of the solution. I hope this helps. I've also attached the file here incase you need it.

• Log Insight publishing WorkFlow content Pack

  I used the Insight newspaper publisher to publish the contents of the pack. End of the publication, he gave me the ID (48ab-32556) and identification of email to contact for any other question.  However, I have got any e-mail communication to confirm the request for publication is received. I sent e-mail to [email protected] to check, have heard support either. So I wanted to make sure that I followed the right workflow for publishing new content pack.

  In one of the doc of LI he says link exchange solution allows you to publish, I did ' t find the option on the web link even after the connection.

  Any idea here would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

  Looks like the editor has bug, I don't see any pack of content uploaded on the ftp site. If it is not a lot of trouble may ask you to zip the content pack and send to [email protected] alias?

  You can post on Exchange Solution only review and approval of the Insight CORD journal team.

  Guys,

  I installed the insight journal, and my virtual centres taking data and install vcops. I installed the content to netapp pack, but it doesn't seem to be bringing in my controllers of netapp data. Y at - there a step I'm missing or additional configuration?

  The content of NetApp pack requires ONTAP cluster. If you don't see any data being filled, then I assume that you are running the legacy version. If you want that NetApp to build a content for legacy mode pack then leave a comment on the content of NetApp pack to the Exchange Solution.

  Bought new Forza 4 and the lancer Track Pack code does not work, how do I get a code that is generated in the form I've already paid for it. Rank of loads of numbers and sent 10 s of emails but cant seem to get help.

• Wave error when you try to install a content pack

  I use Log Insight in a test environment and am unable to install content packs at all. I wish I could use Log Insight for business center and Application Services, but when I try to install their (or any other content package) on the market I have these unnecessary errors:

  

  I also tried to download packs of content from a browser and their importation, but that results in the same error. The role of my account is "Super Admin" so I don't think that is the question.

  Two suggestions:

  1.) Confirm synchronization time between * nodes ALL * LI * AND * between the client browser and the server of LI - if the time is not synchronized, it can lead to this error.

  2.) reboot the LI/cluster of nodes and try again

• AD and Windows content Packs

  I am using two of these content packs at the same time. I have the windows agent installed on all my domain controllers. However, the default widgets do not display data in my Windows content pack. They appear in the 'Presentation of security' section of the AD content pack. I can view the logs in the Interactive analysis, but they are not automatically placed under widgets.

  I noticed this warning for two content packs.

  Hmm, I think you're misunderstanding. Two content packs can and should be used at the same time. Each content pack requires a different agent configuration. Looks like you want to use Windows and Active Directory content on the same domain controller packs, right? If so, you need to use the TWO configurations on the agent on the domain controller. This means that the liagent.ini and add the following (and then two content packs will work - I hope this helps!):

  Just deployed vROPs to our environment in addition to vCOPs (for a little longer). I've gotta say other than the ridiculous name this product is a great step in the right direction. Much less clumsy than vCOPs. We are licensed for Standard edition vCOPs. We use vsphere 5.5.

  The Management Pack for the sounds to add storage devices as a great way to control the storage of end-to-end. Does anyone know what editions of vROPs this pak of management that can be installed on? I have a bad feeling, it's advanced and Ent.

• Management Pack for vCloud Director (vROps) connection problem / authentication adapter?

  I'm trying to configure the Management Pack for vCloud Director (Cloud Management Marketplace |) Solution Exchange) and I seem to be having trouble with the simplest thing. I have the Solution installed and configured for most, but for some reason usually reach out and join the vCD server, or have a kind of authentication problems. When I test the map with appropriate powers (local and LDAP in vCD), I get the error:

  Cannot establish a connection on the target system. Logon failed! using Host = < FQDN > User = < adminuser > @System

  The adapter puts the @System after him, or is this something so simple, that I'm more thinking than he. I'd be happy to post any kind of newspapers if needed, let me know what you need.

  You HAVE to put @system, as it should work with or without. the base public REST API URL is assigned within vCloud Director? See the manual page, installation 28...

  Have you checked for ports Firewall open between the machine virtual analytical and vCloud Director host?

  I see a lot of data analytics Interactive to see, but nothing through the content Pack.

  Is there a configuration additional post the content Pack download, for example the installation of the Agent on servers view?
