• How to reset a folio in Adobe Content viewer / Android?

  I use a folio in Adobe Content Viewer on a Kobo (android Tablet), and I want to reset the pages. In the iPad, I press three times the name of the folio. The same action does not work in the kobo. Do you know how I can get it?

  This feature is available on iOS and Android. You need to get the timing of the "triple tap" OK to make it work. I just tested and work on a Galaxy Tab 10

• Fuzzy library thumbnails with Adobe Content Viewer 6.0 update. (IOS)

  At have you noticed the pictures blurry library on an iPad 1 since the 6.0 update of the Adobe Content Viewer.  On an older 3 stronger look but still two folios iPad / fuzzy articles as well.  Any ideas?

  If you see images of fuzzy cover on the new library on older folios is certainly because these covers folios are low resolution images. If I remember right there were some older versions which allowed us to lower resolution covers to be downloaded, and once those who are sous-echantillonnees they look quite as nice.

  Try to download again, higher resolution covers and see if that solves it.

• Content Viewer showing Android is no longer "renditions" of phone?

  We have made no changes to our naming conventions, but noticed that on Android phones, content viewer load only the rendering of the Tablet (1024 x 768) of our pub.  This didn't use to be the case, it will display all the renditions which was very good, we used it only for proofing.  The application itself has made set for mobile and tablet, it's just not, we are missing versions of phone for proofing.

  Hey Ry,

  We have not eliminated any changes to the "renditions" in the observer of Android. You were not working through some problems of rendering with the Windows viewer recently? What you see in the Adobe Content Viewer is the correct behavior: only available formats are displayed.

  If you have seen more than one in the past, it was because your "renditions" are not configured correctly, just as you saw in the Viewer Windows. You probably did not notice this in your production application like you have forced specific rendering through App Builder selection (which is an advanced feature and are not normally needed).

• Content Viewer on Android 4.0.4 crash

  I installed Adobe Content Viewer 2.8.0.0.59744 on my tablet, and it fails just at the beginning (black screen and error message) I tried to reinstall several times, but the same thing happens.

  Anyone having the same problems? A small idea of what can do about it?

  I m thinking, maybe a v21 or viewer v20 work on my camera, just to see the work until adobe Gets a new version that woks on Android, but I find can´t Content Viewer 2.5, only 1.8

  Finally, I can download folio v20 files in the content viewer 2.6, it works fine, but I hope that this problem with allwinner devices will be resolved in the new versions. Thanks for all the help.

• BlackBerry Playbook + Android = Adobe Content Viewer plays not latest generation (PDF chimneys)

  My client wants to create a digital publication on the iPad, Tablet Android and Blackberry Playbook.

  I have install the last FOLIO producer (FolioProducerTools-CS55-1-9 - 1.zip) and the FOLIO Panel (FolioPanel-CS55 - 12_1_3.zip) in Adobe CS 5.5 (PC) and I created a folio tests (with piles of PDF including multimedia elements (video + HTML 5)

  When I opened the folio via Adobe Content Viewer on iPad (with my Acrobat account), everything is OK.

  But do the same on the blackberry Playbook (last updated 2 OS) with Adobe Content Viewer 2.1.1 I can't download the FOLIO. I get an error message telling me to update the application.

  On Android version (2.4.1.0.43718) I can download the Folio, but impossible to start. I get an error message telling me batteries PDF are not supported.

  If I go through the process of creating an application, I'll be able to use the last producer + Panel to create AN application that I can publish on the Appstore, Android Market and store Playbook? If not, should what version I expect?

  What will be the content viewer Adobe happen on Android and Adobe Playbook to support the latest versions of folio?

  If I have to RETURN my Indesign with the previous version of the producer + Panle, what are the real producer + Panel to install to support each platform? And I must have more than one PC to create environments of development for each platform?

  The BlackBerry PlayBook is no longer supported. Publishers did not show enough interest in creating applications for the platform to justify development and testing resources.

  If you want that your app in Android Market, you probably want it to appear in the Amazon Appstore as well.

  On Android, with articles PDF folios are not supported. Use a different image format. The viewer of the Android Market is up to date. We are still waiting on Apple and Amazon to approve.

  I don't know if you wonder if you can create a single application for each platform, or a unique folio for each platform. Apple uses the .ipa and Android/Amazon use .apk format. You need to create and submit separate viewer applications. Use the viewer generator to create applications.

• Content Viewer Adobe bed mobile android in tablet form.

  When I opened the issue of our magazine about android LG Nexus 5 she understand like a Tablet and opens the question of the tablet. I think it has something to do with the resolution. When the issue is published, the mobile opens the correct number of our app... Is anyone know how to understand it's a mobile phone, opening the app and not a tablet to the content viewer? Or knows why this is happening?

  Sounds like:

  (1) you have not configured correctly renderings for folios

  (2) your support of rendering advanced activated when you built your custom Android Viewer and explicitly said what the folio versions should go to phones and tablets

  # 1, check and make sure the metadata in the "renditions" corresponding folio. # 2, there is no way to activate this feature in Adobe Content Viewer.

• There is no such thing as a black line on the content of folio in the viewer adobe after update.

  Several days after an update of a shared folio in the viewer Adobe (iPad Retina), there is a black line on the content on the right side of the screen (possibly a the scroll bar that no scrolling). There was also a notification that an update was available (downloaded very quickly, no updates had been pushed in days). • Cover previews and missing titles in the content viewer Adobe Android

  We test a folio using the new adobe content viewer for Android. All previews cover are empty in our library, and there is no title. All you can see are the blue snipes with the lightning on each. Since we have 10 + folios in this id, he makes extremely difficutlt to test. Anyone else encounter this problem and know a fix?

  We took a glance to this today. There is no image portrait cover associated with any one of the folios in the account. If there is no portrait cover provided that we can not show you add portrait covers, and then they'll show.

  The same goes for the missing titles. The Android Viewer shows the Folio number under the cover, and that is empty on your slips.

  Long story short, out of nowhere I can not update a folio in my iPad Content Viewer application.

  I get the error message:

  Try your download again later.

• NAV to and links page broken after update of the content viewer!

  I just put a message from my client asking why all the Nav and page links to the links do not work? She has just updated the Viewer on his ipad.

  After updating the content on my Ipad Viewer the same thing happened.  I now have to download each article again to see if this corrects the folio.

  I've updated the 1 article and this seems to have fixed the entire folio links. Signature and content viewer seems however to stop the links once again. At the moment I have everything works again. Is this a bug?

  The fix is now in place. Download the new version of DPS App Builder and edit or rebuild your single-folio application. The links on the page should function properly.

• DPS will not be updated on Adobe Content Viewer

  I'm pretty new to DPS, but I try my best solve the problems. When I saw my app on the desktop preview, it updates perfectly and everything works fine. However, it does not update on the Adobe Content Viewer iPad in the what I have compiled first my folio. I have archived it and downloaded over and over again, restarted LCA, rebooted the iPad, and nothing works. There is no error message and it does not crash, it will not simply be updated. Help, please!

  Lol that won't update the article.

  Select it in the Panel of folio builder and open the Panel menu. You will see a command to update there.
