How to reset a folio in Adobe Content viewer / Android?

I use a folio in Adobe Content Viewer on a Kobo (android Tablet), and I want to reset the pages. In the iPad, I press three times the name of the folio. The same action does not work in the kobo. Do you know how I can get it?

Thank you very much for your answer!

This feature is available on iOS and Android. You need to get the timing of the "triple tap" OK to make it work. I just tested and work on a Galaxy Tab 10

  • Missing folios in Adobe Content Viewer on iPad

I am connected to my adobe account in indesign on my desk, as well as in the adobe content viewer on my iPad. All of the folios I designed are saved, updated and transferred on my cloud (they are also visible in my folio Panel). However, none of them saved presentations are visible in adobe content viewer even thought I'm connected. I need to be able to get these presentations on the iPad as soon as possible.

I confirmed that this fix will be in the update, we have planned for the first week of February.

Completely. I work cross-platform all the time using a dropbox folder for

Make sure that you use the OpenType fonts to avoid problems there.

  • How to hide a sheet in Adobe Content Viewer on a device?

I have a folio that I tested on a Tablet Android, but now I want to hide it so that the next person I give it can not see. Is this possible or should I remove the folio in Folio Builder?

You can sign out of Adobe Content Viewer on the device and let the next newspaper person with their own credentials, or you can remove the folio to Folio Builder.

  • How to upgrade a folio in the content viewer quickly?

    Hi all

Thank you first for this great community - he helped us a lot!

I wonder if theres just a possibility to update your folio in the Viewer application of updated content on the ipad - as I ve article in indesign, press update and if I click on Preview in the folio of indesign generator and it works very well, but only on the ipad, I have to wait at least 1 hour or something to get my folio any update.

Thanks for your replies in advance.

and I tried to close the content viewer application and reopen it again to see if the folio update then, but not

In fact, it will update almost immediately (less than two minutes at most) and lets you know that an update of the folio is available. You will need to close and reopen Content Viewer.

Now if you want to preview your content immediately without updating the article, use the Preview on characteristic unit in Indesign that will start the Preview on your Adobe Content Viewer.

  • How do I drag - move in Adobe Content Viewer?

I do an iPad app that uses a large interactive animation in Adobe Edge animate and will be placed in InDesign. The application uses by scanning and drag-and-drop, however the nature of the content viewer Adobe means I can drag, but the shots of the entire page with him to reveal the white edges, and drag-and - move does not work. I tried if I can disable drag horizontal which I think could solve my problem, but found that no one seems to have found a solution that allows interactivity, the last discussion in June of last year I think. I guess that there are no updates for this?

If there is no way to do it in DPS, is there another way to put the InDesign file or the file Edge animate on an iPad (free or reasonably cheap, because I can't afford much since I'm a student and this is a University project) which would make the work of drag-and-drop? Maybe even open the HTML from the edge of the file in a web browser, or publish it as an iBook?

Thanks in advance, if all goes well there is a solution, it was driving me crazy and I have to change the way the application works if not!

I managed to drag and drop to work in iBooks, and I prefer to use it in iBooks; the page does not move when I drag. Of course, it is not ideal because I do an application instead of a book/magazine, but it works for what I want, because it will be on display at an exhibition on an iPad. The only problem I have now is that when I drag the object, it is constantly a few cm of my finger/cursor; any idea?

For any other interested person (although it was more research for the correct keywords for me), I used the plugin of jquery draggable as explained here, and the tactile punch to here plugin that allows the draggable plugin works on touch devices. I've not tested this DPS, but I guess it will work, or unzip the .oam file, copy in the draggable plugin then zipping him yet, as explained in this discussion.

Also do not know if I should mark this as correct or not? It seems strange to choose my own answer is just...

  • BlackBerry Playbook + Android = Adobe Content Viewer plays not latest generation (PDF chimneys)

    Hello

My client wants to create a digital publication on the iPad, Tablet Android and Blackberry Playbook.

I have install the last FOLIO producer (FolioProducerTools-CS55-1-9 - 1.zip) and the FOLIO Panel (FolioPanel-CS55 - 12_1_3.zip) in Adobe CS 5.5 (PC) and I created a folio tests (with piles of PDF including multimedia elements (video + HTML 5)

When I opened the folio via Adobe Content Viewer on iPad (with my Acrobat account), everything is OK.

But do the same on the blackberry Playbook (last updated 2 OS) with Adobe Content Viewer 2.1.1 I can't download the FOLIO. I get an error message telling me to update the application.

On Android version (2.4.1.0.43718) I can download the Folio, but impossible to start. I get an error message telling me batteries PDF are not supported.

If I go through the process of creating an application, I'll be able to use the last producer + Panel to create AN application that I can publish on the Appstore, Android Market and store Playbook? If not, should what version I expect?

What will be the content viewer Adobe happen on Android and Adobe Playbook to support the latest versions of folio?

If I have to RETURN my Indesign with the previous version of the producer + Panle, what are the real producer + Panel to install to support each platform? And I must have more than one PC to create environments of development for each platform?

    Thank you

The BlackBerry PlayBook is no longer supported. Publishers did not show enough interest in creating applications for the platform to justify development and testing resources.

If you want that your app in Android Market, you probably want it to appear in the Amazon Appstore as well.

On Android, with articles PDF folios are not supported. Use a different image format. The viewer of the Android Market is up to date. We are still waiting on Apple and Amazon to approve.

I don't know if you wonder if you can create a single application for each platform, or a unique folio for each platform. Apple uses the .ipa and Android/Amazon use .apk format. You need to create and submit separate viewer applications. Use the viewer generator to create applications.

  • Folio will not complete download to Adobe Content Viewer on iPad

I work in InDesign 2014.2 Windows and using the most recent version of the viewer Adobe Content (as of 24/11/15) on the iPad. He sees the folio (unpublished) that I created and some items are appearing. But other items will not complete the download process. They say just 'pending' or 'preparation '. They never get beyond, even after 24 hours. I tried to restart, signing in and out of InDesign and Content Viewer with no luck. I am able to view the full folio in the viewer of content on my desktop and my colleagues are able to download the full folio on their iPads without problem. How can I fix?

I deleted the Adobe Content Viewer app from the iPad and reinstalled. He is currently working.

  • Adobe DPS Folio and query Content Viewer

    Hello

I'm creating folios Foilo overlays or Folio Builder and then their preview on the viewer of content on the iPad. My question is after May 1st I still will be able to do? I don't create preview mode just on my iPad app to see how they work. If anyone can give me an answer, it would be much appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Alan

Yes, after May 1st, you will still be able to create, edit and share folios, and you can use Adobe Content Viewer to view folios. You will be not just be able to create simple-folio applications using a simple edition or creative cloud license.

  • An application like Adobe Content Viewer multi-folio

    Hello

I need a drive that works just like Adobe Content Viewer, except that it must have its own icon and name in the app store or google play.

So that everyone can install 'MyOwnReader' (it's free) and asked ad Adobe ID.

Depending on the connection, the user will see only the folios shared with her. No fees for these folios.

As I said, just like in Adobe Content Viewer.

Is this possible with a publishing Adobe license? If Yes, which? (and how much is it?)

    Thanks in advance

You will need DPS Enterprise edition and use the functionality of Distribution restricted to what you want.

  • Folio is not opening in adobe content viewer

A year ago, I created a magazine with Digital Publishing Suite for a college course and downloaded on my ipad in Adobe Content Viewer. It was a computer at school and the version of Indesign, so I don't think I'd be able to reload the file on the application Viewer happy if I needed to. When I open the content viewer, I see the cover of my magazine alongside file "Adobe" that says "Release". This Adobe file is newly, and is therefore a blue icon in the corner of my magazine. When I click on my magazine, the bit of info 'i' turns into a symbol of the spinning, as if it were loading. However, nothing will load and nothing happens. I left it for hours and nothing happened. When I click to open the Adobe output file, it opens a clear grey screen with no content, buttons or whatever it is. There is nothing I can click on or make it forces me to exit and quit the application.

Can someone help me please determine the cause do not open? I am frustrated at this point and I'm nervous to delete and redownload the app where my file is lost. Like I said, don't know if she would always be there or if I could pick up again. (I also logged into the app with my Adobe ID, if that helps)

    Thank you!

Unfortunately, you have to uninstall and reinstall the application Adobe Content Viewer, and this would lead to the loss of the folio that see you because you added to the device using glimpse on the device. Since you did a year ago, there has been several changes IOS that requires updates to the application. There is really no way to fix this problem without uninstall, reinstall, or then put the content on your device again.

  • Folio not listed is not in the Adobe Content Viewer on a few iPads

I worked on the development of an iPad app in InDesign CS6 using Adobe DPS. In most cases, the process has been working smoothly until recently. Once connected to Adobe Content Viewer on my iPad third generation, folio fine watch and downloads as expected. However, when others with iPads older download Content Viewer and connect, they do not see the folio in option. For example, a person with a second generation iPad, which has the latest iOS, could not see the folio in the Viewer. I stripped the app by the way 40megs, size of thought could be a problem, but after several users have identical results experience, I don't think that's it. Someone had a similar problem, and what I can do on my end to make the application compatible with a wide range of iPads?

What is the size of the folio? If it's 2048 x 1536, it will be displayed on the iPad HD but not the iPads of 1024 x 768. If it's a folio of 1024 x 768, it should appear on all iPads.

  • Cannot test folio PDF Desktop Adobe Content Viewer

    Hi all

I get an error when I'm testing my folio PDF format on my desktop Adobe Content Viewer.

I get the error in Dutch (my language), but it translated: "this folio contains one or more fireplaces that are not yet supported for the viewer of content for the office. PDF batteries are only supported in iOS-viewers. »

This happens when I click on 'Preview' in the folio Builder. I work on a Macbook with Mac OS X Lion.

Help would be appreciated since I can't find anything about with PDF format folio on the internet!

    Thank you.

Well known limit and that is exactly what it says it is.

You cannot use the Office Viewer to check PDF folios.
