context root

I've changed the root of context of my implementation of /flex to /phr

I put the new value in the two flex - config.xml and like the Flex Builder project/properties/flex build/other arguments - context-root "DSP".

I recompiled my project flex client, but the compiler did not create my html/swf file and there is no warnings or errors.

No idea where I was wrong?

-services "c:\phm\svn\phm-server\server\deploy\phm.ear\phr.war\WEB-INF\flex\services-config.xml" - context-root "phr" - local en_US

If I remove - context-root "phr" everything compiles, but it uses the wrong context root.

I found it. Although a part of the documentation indicates that the root of context must be set in the additional arguments for the flex compiler, is not correct, even if typing-context-root argument in this text box gives indications that all is well.

Do not - context-root "xyz" in Flex Builder. He defined only in the project/properties/flex/context root server text box

  • string ' / viewController-context-root "automatically get added in the CSS rule

    My version of jDeveloper is 12.2.1.0.0

    I expanded the alta-v1 skin and put a CSS rule in there that would apply to a background image of an element. The CSS rule is as follows:

    .notification.bell{
        background-image:url("/images/bell.png");
        background-repeat:no-repeat;
        background-position:center center;
        background-size:70% 70%;
    }

    When I run the page and display the CSS rule in Firebug, this is what happens in:

    .notification.bell {
      background-image: url("/ViewController-context-root/images/bell.png");
      background-position: center center;
      background-repeat: no-repeat;
      background-size: 70% 70%;
    }

    I made sure that I am editing the CSS file by changing the name of the file from bell.png to bell2.png and it was reflected in Firebug. What I can't understand, is why is the extra string added to the URL and hence.

    PS: I also noticed a strange thing at the moment. The URL in the address bar appears as

    http://127.0.0.1:7101/ViewController/faces/home.jspx

    Should also contain the name of the project? Something like this:

    http://127.0.0.1:7101/myProjectName/ViewController/faces/home.jspx

    A I spoil with a frame inside jDeveloper?

    User, I need to check the css thing. I have never seen it myself, but never looked especially for her.

    The second part of the question is easy to answer: the string you see is defined in the viewcontroller project root context parameter. Set this parameter to something that you like and start the application again. You should see the new value of the parameter.

  • Context-root for Portal Administration Console

    Hello!

    I am using Weblogic Server 10.3.2. I created a myApp.ear portal application that contains myApp.war.
    I use eclipse to develop my application. For my ear project, I chose some aspects of the project:

    Admin Console 10.3.2
    Executive admin 10.3.2
    10.3.2 Portal Application services
    Framework of Portal customizations 10.3.2

    The weblogic - application.xml myApp.ear looks like this:

    < wls:weblogic - application xmlns:wls = "http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/weblogic-application" xmlns: xsi = "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi: schemaLocation = "http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/javaee_5.xsd http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/weblogic-application http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/weblogic-application/1.0/weblogic-application.xsd >.

    I have not any application.xml defined in the project of my ear.
    In my web project, I put the root of context: myAppWEB.

    When I deploy her Eclipse myAppAdmin works very well.

    (I deploy as a Run-Stand alone web module directly from the workspace or in the separate deployment folder).

    But when I export an ear myApp.ear and then deploy it in admin Console tools context root management server server is not overloaded. I followed:
    myAppEAB
    Administrative Tools (FALSE!).

    I can access/admin-tools. But when I try to create a binary content (not upload) I received: Page not found, because he tries to access it from /myAppAdmin. But the context is: admin-tools.

    At deployment, I get the message:

    Also, when I open weblogic application. XML with Weblogic App deployment descriptor editor I get the error on the library overrides context root:

    "Context root 'tools' is not exported by one of the libraries referenced."

    (me: wlp-tools-admin-app is shared library).

    What I am doing wrong? I want to be able to deploy my ear to Server Admin and access myAppAdmin (Portal Administration Console) to this address: myAppAdmin.

    Thank you!

    Hello

    I was fighting with the same problem for several days and it was resolved by creating the application.xml in the EAR project. Resolve was really frustrating because application.xml is not added by default to the new ear portal projects, the xml is not referring to the portal admin console somehow and no documentation that I could find mentions that it is essential for the manufacture of the portal administration console to work.

    I hope that helps!

  • Deploy several WAR, a context root

    I have two web services built in two applications of WAR (1WAR-1WS). If I deploy the first WAR, the service is available at url: http://application-tier server: port/CONTEXTROOT/WSNAME1. The I would like to deploy WS second on the same root context (http / / server: port/CONTEXTROOT/WSNAME2). If I try, after the deployment of the second WAR on OC4J, one are no longer available. I thing it's due to having the same root context for web applications. Is it possible I'm able to deploy two web services from wars with the same context root? I would like to avoid having two web services in a WAR. Thanks for the reply.

    Martin

    Hi Martin,

    Complies with the J2EE standard, each Web Application must have a Unique root of context (Context path) container providers provide implementation of this specification.

    So we cannot assign same context-root to 2 or more different Applications. But we can change the root of context to an existing Application without having to physically edit the deployment descriptors using the feature * "plan.xml" * of WebLogic.

    http://WebLogic-wonders.com/WebLogic/2010/03/24/changing-context-root-of-an-ear-app-using-plan-XML/ (for Enterprise Applications)
    And
    http://blogs.Oracle.com/jamesbayer/2009/07/ (WEB applications)

    Any J2EE container do not two applications different have the same root context.

    It is always possible that you have two Web services with the Same Context-Root with Different "Service-Uri" if they are packaged within a single WAR.

    If you want images in your folder, then this element in a list of directories weblogic.xml can help:

  • Change the root context of Service Web EJB

    Hello
    I can't change the default context for a Service of Web EJB Stateless root. I tried to use the @WLHTTPTransport but it says that it is not possible to use JAX - WS Web services. Also I tried to use the jwsc ant task, but it gives just a java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException with no other clues. I should change the root of the web service in production context without having to recompile the application, so I do not think that the Ant task will suffice. I would not find any similar funcion as the < context root > EJB ones web Modules. I am using Weblogic 11 GR 1 material (10.3.2.0). Any help will be greatly appretiated!
    Thank you!

    You can override the root of context using values in the weblogic EJB - webservices.xml. Here's a sample:

    SimpleEjbService
    JAXWS

    SimplePort

    jaxwsejb_contextPath
    / SimpleEjbService

    If you do not have an existing weblogic - webservices.xml to change, you can use jwsc to create one using the generateDescriptors = "true" attribute on the element.

  • How to set the context to / instead of /store?

    Hi all

    I'm changing my atg application context path / instead of /store

    I use ATG10.0.2 and jboss - 5.1.0.GA, I tried to change that what follows but has not worked.

    I changed the web.xml file to be
    < context-param >
    root of context of < param-name > < / param-name >
    > param value < / < / param-value >
    < / context-param >

    With this code inside, I created a jboss - Web.Xml
    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >
    < jboss-web >
    < context root > / < / context root >
    < / jboss-web >

    I also made the change to /META-INF/application.xml

    < web >
    Bank of <>web - uri - webapp.war < / web - uri >
    MyMoney < context root > < / root context >
    < / web >

    I have read the information above to; :
    https://community.JBoss.org/wiki/HowDoIOverrideTheWebContextRoot

    And I found that the documentation of the atg

    I changed the MANIFESTO. My application to be MF

    ATG-Web-Module: j2ee-apps/store/store.war
    ATG-Context-Root: /.

    But none of these options worked.

    I just want to accomplish the following:
    change of htttp://www.ocorpws.com/store to htttp://www.ocorpws.com/ (this example is not the site)

    I'd really appreciate your help.

    Kind regards
    Obed

    What you did to change the context root of "/" everything is perfect, but it is important to know that there is a ROOT.war in the JBoss deployment folder which by default is bound to the context ' / '. You receive the error message like "Web mapping already exists for deployment" when you should begin your JBoss server after changing your context root for ' / '. So either you can completely remove the ROOT.war of the deployment folder or change the root context of ROOT.war by updating its like web.xml file:

    Welcome to JBoss

    Welcome to JBoss

    **
    context-root*.
    root/JBoss-root*.
    *
    *

    Status Servlet
    org.jboss.web.tomcat.service.StatusServlet

    ..
    ..

    and also update the jboss - Web.XML to ROOT.war:

    Java: / jaas, jmx-console
    root/JBoss-root*.

    I hope it serves your purpose.

    There may be a workaround solution also by changing the ROOT.war index.html file in the folder of your server deployment and redirect calls to your web application with refresh meta as:

  • Update context-roor without losing the portals

    I have changed the context root in my request XXXXXX to * / * so I can access it without having to type XXXXXX, everything was fine, except that all the portals, desktop computers, portlets, models of office have disappeared... I thought it was because it was not solves the repository, but that was not true, because access to the content of the content about it is even posible... so the question is... is it possible to update the root of context without losing all the portals, desktop, etc?

    Hello Deepak,

    I doubt webapp information would be stored in LDAP, and I agree that the DB information could be updated manually but many problems could arise if she did was not 100% perfectly - and the Web application can be stored in several places in the DB.

    Probably the best option would be NOT to rename your context root, use the Propagation of WLP to create a directory, create a new Web application with the new name (context root) you want, then use the tools of Propagation of WLP to bring all your artifacts portals.

    Kevin

    Additional note:

    Changing the DB manually only is NOT supported; Oracle support is likely to refuse any help if you did manually changes of this magnitude to your database. The Propagation tool is probably the way to go if you need to rename your webapp.

  • Automation interface cannot be obtained.

    I'm puzzled as to why I can't get the value of the variable when I provide the context variable as a parameter (VarContext below), but it works when I use the context of the sequence. I was hoping to avoid the path of the complete search string, but it seems that you should always leave the context root sequence.

    It may not seem like a big deal if it's "Locals.Var" or simply "Var", but this is just an example - some of my search strings are highly nested and so very long.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Ronnie

    Right-click on the VarContext control on the front panel.

    Select class ActiveX > Browse...

    Under Type of library, select NI TestStand API x.x.x Version x.x

    Under objects, select PropertyObject

    You may not assume that the people of the country is the context of the sequence.  If you open the TS - Get property Value.vi, you will see that it requires that you pass the context of the sequence.

    Now instead of using the TS - get property Value.vi replace it with an invoke node.  Choose GetValNumber as the method to call.

    Connect your string constant with Var inside the LookupString parameter and a digital with 0 in constant for the setting options.

    Wire of the GetValNumber to your indicator of value.

    You should be good to go now.

  • To access the classes of CPP in qml.

    I have set up to access the classes of PCB in qml in two ways: -.

    1. create an attached object and the id of the class of CPP special and then access via the id.

    2. fix the CPP on the qml class before pushing the page using the setContextProperty.

    I wanted to know exactly when to use these two methods. There a difference in terms of scope and memory. Please explain.

    Great Question!

    Local objects:

    Attached to objects, or who inherit from classes of cascades, is the simplest way to expose c ++ objects that relate to user interface elements. This is what you use if you want this object to BELONG to this context qml. It is created by the qml context when createObject is called (your qml file is loaded) and destroyed with the user interface objects. You can create many of these objects, anywhere you need. However, if you want to expose global properties, it is probably not a good approach.

    The only time you would use objects attached to global stuff is if you expose a singleton class to allow qml set locations to manage signals (OrientationHandler is an example of that, without an OrientationHandler object, that you have nothing to connect).

    Global objects:

    Context properties can be considered global variables for a particular context, but with inheritance: context properties are passed to the contexts of the child. These objects are the PROPERTY of c ++, must be created before the creation of the object (createObject is called) and must remain valid for the lifetime of any context, they are placed in, but then destroyed is no longer necessary.

    The disadvantage of context properties changing them can be expensive. If you set a context property after the createObject call (that is to say an object exists that was created from this context), then all links in javascript in this context will be re-evaluated. However, you can mitigate this issue by exposing an object that contains the value as a property, so that links to branch on change of signals well if necessary.

    Inheritance is where shine context properties. There is a context root, which is in this context of default parent for new contexts. If you set a context property of the root context, it is available everywhere in any document qml. Here is an example of how do:

    QmlDocument::defaultDeclarativeEngine()->rootContext()->setContextProperty("app", myApp);

    Note: when I speak of createObject, I'm talking about QDeclarativeContext::createObject. It is called internally by QmlDocument::createRootObject.

    For more information on the Qml contexts, see http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/qdeclarativecontext.html

    For more information about the inner workings of qtdeclarative, see http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/qdeclarativeengine.html and http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/qdeclarativecomponent.html

    Hi all, finally I found the solution to this exception.

    I did the following steps to solve the problem.

    1. create a bean and use this method

    public void tooManyObjectsMatchExceptioHandeler() {}

    Add the code in the event here...

    System.out.println ("inside the Handeler");

    FacesMessage message =

    new FacesMessage ("Type your friendly message");

    message.setSeverity (FacesMessage.SEVERITY_ERROR);

    FacesContext fc = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();

    fc.addMessage (null, message);

    }

    Now, drag and drop the file above java projects in data controls in the browser of the application.

    2. drag a workflow method call (where u get exception as Houston-25013) and call this method as an activity of the exception handler,

    Now, do a right click on this--> definition of the page method call create or go to definition of the page--> create a link Action method and select the above method in the select and file def page this method call in the workflow then go to properties inspector set out fixed property (here name of activities of method call) u give.

  • Deployment of Jenkins on Weblogic 12.1.3.0.5

    Hello

    We try to deploy version 1.644 on Weblogic 12.1.3.0.5 jenkins. I followed the guide on their Web site

    https://wiki.Jenkins-CI.org/display/Jenkins/WebLogic

    Basically, I created a weblogic.xml file in the WEB - INF as below

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >

    " < weblogic-web-app xmlns =" http://xmlns.Oracle.com/WebLogic/WebLogic-Web-app "> "

    Jenkins < context root > < / root context >

    <>container-descriptor

    < prefer-web-inf-classes > true < / prefer-web-inf-classes >

    < / container-descriptor >

    < / weblogic-web-app >

    I used the jar cvf and created a war file and deployed on weblogic. The application started without any error.

    However, I'm getting a 403 Forbidden.

    I can't tell what I'm doing wrong. Is there more that needs to be done for an application that run on tomcat to run on weblogic? Is there a newspaper jenkins? or I can create a?

    Please let me know. Thank you!

    Thanks for sharing the exact command that indicates where exactly is the problem.

    Please proceed as follows (first move the edited directory "jenkins" and then run the following command):

    cd jenkins
    jar cvfM jenkins.war  META-INF/MANIFEST.MF *

    Just in case if you find that the META-INF/MANIFEST. MF file is not correctly updated inside the WAR update, then please re run the following command:

    jar -uf jenkins.war META-INF/MANIFEST.MF

    Or better to run especially 3 orders and then. Then deploy the 'jenkins.war' on your WLS instance that is generated within your current directory.
