• HP Pavilion 23: startup problems

  Because we bought our computer in October 2014, we had many problems with the start, problems of drivers, startup problems, graphic card problems and more. It was supposed to be fixed once by the bu retailer still, there are questions. The biggest problem is starting:-it freezes, error messages that say lag not found drivers or disk not detected though when checked is. Also, we have done numerous resets hard which are just a quick temporary solution and back problems. We pay every month for a service contract with the retailer, but they mostly just try to run the store for our computer repair you... NOT HAPPY because for the third day, we bought there have been problems and we haven't bought a computer to sit in a workshop constantly, not at the price we paid coupled with the monthly fee for whatr amounts to nothing. Is there something we can do to solve this problem without driving miles and being without a computer that actually, we bought to USE?

  There is a tool called DominoDefrag available free of charge on OpenNTF compact, then defragments (use the contig.exe Microsoft utility) then optimizes it (using Jeroen Kessels jkdefragcmd.exe utility) Lotus Notes databases on a Windows NT4/2000/2003/2008 Lotus Domino server.

  There are a number of reasons why don't not all files will be defrag.  The two main reasons are that the file is currently open and in use (for example "Swap file" and the hives of the registry).  Another reason may be because the file is large and the system could not find sufficient contiguous space to move.  If you write the file names that cannot be defragmented, you may have success using the free Microsoft/Sysinternals utility command line following who were more successful in specific files defragmentation:

  Please note that unless your system is horribly fragmented, defragment one or two files not significantly improve performance.

  There are several reasons that files can remain fragmented.  One is that there is no contiguous space on the drive that is large enough to hold the entire file.  Another is that the file can be used at the same time you are defragmenting.  There of nothing wrong with a sparse file, but if you want to pin a file or two that you want to really be defragmented, try using the command line utility free "contig" on the microsoft website:

  Fragmented files are not bad! At worst, need another millisecond or two for the system read this file.  If the file is rarely or never accessed, so there no performance impact at all.  When you delete files from your machine, fragmentation does not fall within the decision-making process. If you don't remove them if they are not fragmented, then you should not remove them, period.  If you mind really that a file is fragmented after you run a standard defragmentation, there are programs out there as freeware "Contig" that defragment almost anything.

• addToolButton - oIcon - hexadecimal value

  I work with Adobe Acrobat Standard v9.5.1.  I want to add a button to the toolbar by using the addToolButton via a JavaScript method. I'm integrating the hexadecimal string of the image in the JavaScript code.  I'm able to add the touch very well using a hexadecimal value for an icon Acrobat I found on a forum, and the button and an icon appear / work very well.  However, when I convert my own image in hex it never seems to not display properly.  It is usually ends up looking like a lot of colored dots randomly placed on the screen.

  Here are the specs on the original image:

  Also, I have tried to do through WindJack Solutions and the process by which they explain, must require the paid version.  Unfortunately, at this time, purchase of software is not an option.
