• Skins custom in 2.0

  I am leading a team of developers and experts in the field who are all using Captivate 1. We intend to make the leap to v2.0 in the coming weeks, and I am trying to determine how we can make use of many new features. When we started with v1.0, I created various Flash 'widgets' which gave us control audio and these styles of custom legend and new buttons playback bar.
  
  Now that Captivate 2 offers all the necessary controls in the 'skins' SWF PlayBar, I want to give up things we have used in the past and go with the skins. However, we want the new skin to resemble what we already are using, which means that I have to develop my own skin - which is where I'm stuck.
  
  I see folders for skins (the FLA and SWF) and realize that, once I edit a skin and publish its SWF, I have to drop the SWF file in the folder "SwfBars" and restart Captivate so that he finds the new skin. -That's enough common sense.
  
  BUT-
  After all that, I see my skin in the selection list. Yet, when I preview or publish the project, the skin is identical to the original instead of my changes. (In this case, I just tweaked a few forms and rearranged the layout.)
  
  I'm apparently missed something.
  
  Has anyone experienced the same thing and figured it out yet?
  
  No idea about the purpose of this command file "cpPlaybarPublish.jsfl" in the folder "PlaybackFLA"?

  Problem solved for now.

  Although not very elegant, my solution for now is to incorporate a Flash 'widget' on the first slide, which reorganizes things for my taste. The ActionScript in this little invisible thing hides the reading entirely bar repositions each button on the playback bar where I would like it and then redisplays the PlayBar. On slow machines, I guess there could be a momentary flicker, but I can live with that.

  Some conditional code allows different paths for the reading according to bar "Show borders" are enabled or disabled - of course the playback bar either external or internal with regard to the main movie.

  This would probably throw the buttons on the screen, if the user has opted for a vertical bar or elected to 'stretch' the bar, but it will not be the case in our environment. Even if need, the same thing could be done with just a few tweaks.

  I see how the developers of Adobe hard-coded layout of the buttons and understand why this approach works for them. I'll post a feature request, however, something like a 'Wizard of the PlayBar"which allows the user to"drag-and-drop"Captivate a provision customized on the fly. Who would they store the sequence button and/or contact information and the use than those at publish time instead of hardcoded, coordinates calculated, they have now.

  I installed the new HP D2660 printer yesterday,
  restart the computer.
  Each icon is a shortcut to a page of browser Firefox Web is empty, is not going anywhere.
  The volume control is missing from the system tray.

  I now have in my taskbar icon of HP for RealtekHD Audio Manager but no Volume icon.
  Sound now works well for example on a video YouTube online, but missing still Volume icon from the system tray.
  Restarted the computer.
  At hp.com, customer service for my computer model, instructions for the Volume icon on the taskbar:
  Notification area of the taskbar, properties, right-click... Volume now shows black :/ Checked the box 'apply '.

  Right-click on the taskbar, Notif.Area, clicked on 'Volume' once again, clicked OK... volume icon now present in Notif.Area AND on the taskbar. Yay
  I consider myself lucky... I didn't have to do the 15 steps the registry editor or delete registry Explorer keys and shouldn't have, thank God.

  You have customized the Edit tool bar control... the icon in the toolbar.  If its not there try resetting Photoshop tools and it does not solve the problem try resetting your Photoshop preferences.

  Welcome to the HP Forum.

  I think you need to refer to the Solution Center printer software and not your control panel.

  Your Solution Center shortcut is perhaps missing - or there may be a deeper problem with your printer software.

  The easiest option would be to reinstall the full features software for your printer and see if that solves all problems at the same time.

  In most cases, for most printers, the solution center was replaced by the Printer Wizard shortcut.  It is just a new program that performs on the same things as the Solution Center.  Some people like better.  The interface is a bit different - many features are the same. for example, your analysis and ink verify functionality will be available.

  my volume control is missing from my op sys. When I open the box of sounds with volume and try to check "place volume icon on the desktop" I get the message but, nothing to install. there in lies the problem.   1. I left your trigger where it was 0:00 seconds, because the event is not linked up close a minute on the main timeline.
  2. You have a JavaScript error that prevents the execution of your code.  Specifically, you need a getSymbol call before 'numbers' instead of $, because $('numbers').$('labMarks') means nothing to jQuery.
  3. You probably want to use = instead of += to top, because your numbers parce que vos numeros sont are moving out of reach.

  This question relates to my work with FM > HR integration. But the task, I'm trying to accomplish something is specifically made in HR with WebHelp skins customization, so I write in this forum. I'm under RH9 on Windows XP Pro.

  We recently replaced WebWorks HR and finally have in place mapping files to generate the help of our FM source files. Celebration was short, because then we realized that our users wanted a PDF option. We did not all mapping to create HR PDF files, and that seems a little ridiculous anyway, since we have a generation of PDF files FM.

  So I set out to do a custom button in the header of a WebHelp skin that will link in PDF format. I have accomplshed that work, but his behavior below the feature I'd like to see. Currently, you click on the button and it opens the PDF file in the window of the browser of the help system. I want to open it in a new window, so I can keep the own experience for users, by separating the help and PDF. I don't know if this is possible.

  Here's where I am. To create a button that I've navigated:

  Set-up/Skins/NEW SKIN / WebHelp Skin Editor of the project / main/NEWS BUTTON

  When I choose the change icon to customize the new button, there is an option to select a link or JavaScript. I got the PDF file to open it in the browser to help simply by using the link option and specifying the PDF file. I tried to use the JavaScript option without success. My JS may be wrong, but when I choose option JS inline and place anything here, it turns all the gibberish navigation buttons *. By specifying an external JS file does not work.

  Any directions or help would be appreciated.

When Windows 10 came out I've upgraded to Pro 10 Windows and my control panel audio beats was still on my pc and worked very well. Then, when Windows 10 anniversary came out August 2 my pc automatically updated for the anniversary edition. Everything was normal, but my control panel audio beats had disappeared and I was able to find it anywhere. Do anyone knows how I can get it back or if there is no driver I can download to get it.
