Conversion of the dynamic URL in URL compatible SE

Y at - it a good solution for the conversion of passage of URL parameter to something more friendly for the search engines? I could convert the static html site, of course, but prefer to avoid that. There is a solution for the dynamic conversion of url operators for slashes posted 4 years ago by Phil Williams: http://tutorial90.easycfm.com/

The answers posted by the developers on this site, suggest implementation problems. Maybe someone wrote a solution more recenty? I do not pretend Phil script doesn't work (I have not tried myself), I'm just curious if a newer solution has been made available and updated successfully.

  • Dynamic URL links open to the last installed only browser

    Hello

    Whenever I use a hot link URL default is Windows open this link in what is the latest web browser, I have installed

    -For example, I use Chrome but have installed Firefox also. Any link opens in Firefox never in Chrome. I recently installed Opera just to check and everything opens at the opera. Then I tried Internet Explorer and now everything opens in the browser only - never in others.

    I don't want four browsers but I want to be able to control where to open the dynamic URL links

    Thanks for any advice you can offer

    Bill

    You can set the default browser used for links in the control panel.  Just highlight the browser you want to use and select "set this program as default.  Then it will be used for the opening of the links.

  • Dynamic URL with JavaScript

    I use this script to launch a url in a popup window:

    getURL ("javascript:openNewWindow('contact.html','thewin','width=700,height=400,toolbar=yes,scrollbars=yes')");

    I want to be able to make the dynamic URL, but when I try with the JavaScript window sizing, I can't make it work. What should I do?

    This one works, but not the window sizing:

    getURL ("contact /" + _root.agent + ".html", "_blank");

    Thank you

    Brian

    You have an additional "after .html '.

    You can see where the citation in red below:

    (' getURL ('javascript:openNewWindow('contact/"+_root.agent+".html' ", 'thewin',' width is 700, height = 400, toolbar = yes, scrollbars = yes')");

  • Load the Image of the URL entered in the dynamic text box

    I have an area of dynamic text (image_in) to receive a URL entry of an image to be loaded into a clip (peak) when you press a button (b_load).

    I can't make it work, the code seems pretty simple:

    var image_url:String = image_in.text;

    b_load.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, Load_URL);

    function Load_URL(event:MouseEvent):void

    {

    var i = new Loader();

    i.Load (new URLRequest (image_url));

    pic.addChild (i)

    }

    This code gives me: #2044 Error: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. Text = Error #2035: URL not found.

    This code works when I declare the var as a URL:

    var image_url:String = " " http://website.com/image.jpg ";

    What is the difference if I go http://website.com/image.jpg in the dynamic text field? What's wrong?

    Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    You declare the image_url variable after the dynamic text? If this isn't the case, then the value of this variable will be an empty string. Set the variable inside the function declaration, and it should work as expected.

    Try this:

    Remember that the images loaded via a url can be saved to the database.

  • How urlencode dynamic parameter in the HTTPService url

    I created a small dashboard that uses a dynamic url for the HTTPService getting tha data for the chart. The url gets its querystring (a username) to the flashvars parameter in the wrapper. SRV. URL works great and fills in my table when the user name does not need to be encoded URL, but how can I urlencode the username that I need to do?

    This is an excerpt from the packaging:
    < script type = "text/javascript" >
    var flashvars = {};
    flashvars. UserName = 'Heather % 20% c3% 98zer ";

    Comment: I intend to dynamically generate the user name Although the above example is static. The user name is encoded in the wrapper.

    This is an excerpt from the source MXML:

  • Can I create a dynamic url target for an entry in the Navigation bar.

    Hello
    I am building a new application and I need easy access from the app to our help wiki.

    I created an entry in the Navigation bar to 'Help' with a target Type "URL" and a target something like 'http://www.wikihelp.com '.

    I would change the target url based on the page, so that I have something like "http://www.wikihelp.com/ < Page title > ' or, preferably" http://www.wikihelp.com/:P0_HELP_TARGET'

    Any help / thoughts appreciated.

    Martin

    Hello

    You can do it, but you will need to use javascript and change the link of URL entry type. Then put something like this:

    javascript:popupURL('http://www.wikihelp.com/&P0_HELP_TARGET.');

    I hope this helps.

  • Dynamic URL

    Hello

    When I change the redirect URL button action. I need to redirect dynamic URL get his ex form element value: P5_URL.

    Thank you!

    Hello

    I made a few changes in your workspace. Check it out now.

    Concerning

  • The homepage URL without "/ index.html".

    Is it possible to change the URL of the homepage of a site Web de MUSE "/index.html/index.html" does not appear after the ".com"?

    I fear that Google will interpret our homepage as a double page.

    Thanks for your help in advance!

    With respect to obtaining the friendly URLS, there are several ways aside for this server. Most of the Web servers are Apache, and if you're brave, you can read about .htaccess files to make redirects for more friendly URLs. They are complicated and not for the coding of the heart, so be careful. Note, however, that the URL created by Muse can take advantage of these friendly URLS automatically, and links would need to be directed to the right place through hyperlinks drop-down manually.

    However, let's talk about the fear of the root here: SEO. Seen index.html links does not know to have a negative impact on the SEO of your site. There is no official source of Google or Microsoft on the topic that indicates something solid on the subject. Both have information about duplicate content, and Google approaches more effectively do a comment saying that the links are compatible. When you use the page of Muse linking features, we will display all of the links to be consistent throughout your site and as such, comply with Google's SEO guidelines on this subject.

    Regarding duplicate content, name of the index.html file is a special file for Web sites and Web servers name and is the name of the default page on most of the servers. Servers with server-side languages and other configurations like the one I mentioned above can have different names, but it is by far the most common. Without additional configuration, your server will serve the two index.html and / as the same page, regardless of weather or not it is a site of Muse. Google and Bing, according to our experience, are smart enough to merge the two files without any problems, but the proof is in the pudding, as they say. There is a simple test that you can use to check and make sure they do the right thing. If you want to check that there are no duplicate in the search results, go to Google or Bing and search for "site:http://www.mydomain.com House ' without the quotes. Just replace your domain in there name and search for the title of your home page and you should see your listed home page. In each Muse site I checked (just those random shape by pulling the site of the day) it was only 1 ad for the home page, indicating that there was no likelihood of confusion by search engines. If you want to specify or to check things out more, you can always use Google WebMaster Tools to take additional measures inform Google of your site.

    We care about the SEO of your sites and do our best to ensure that things that we can do it automatically, we try to cover for you. We are always making improvements in all areas of our code, and this is one area in particular, we know that you are passionate. Unfortunately, the area of SEO has lots of misinformation, misunderstandings and unknown that spread very quickly and will pass without a real understanding. In addition to doing our best to comply with the best practices of SEO, we also try to make sure that we're not fill your sites with cheap false remedies and tips that don't quite work. When we look at the new features, we think of their impact on your sites, SEO, and what we can do to improve your and your site visitor Web experience. For example, when we have added mobile and Tablet layouts, we've also added canonical and substitute meta tags to your pages so that search engines know duplicate content and also knew where and when redirect users. And new stuff is coming, we will continue to do our best to have the same amount of due diligence ensuring a rank as high as possible for your research. And we will continue to look at areas where we could use improvement and do our best to make them whenever we can.

    If all goes well, which clears some things.

  • Dynamic URL of WSDL

    I was wondering if its possible to dynamically change the URL of the WSDL in the activity to invoke the Web Service. I need to deploy the application on multiple environments and must set this via a running configuration parameter.

    Can I change the target URL, but not the URL of the WSDL dynamically which means when I deploy it to another environment, it must have access to any URL WSDL I put in the development environment. If the WSDL should never change or become offline (as dev servers often do) then my production system will stop working.

    The closest workaround is the following: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/livecycle/gmZFeCr1BOM/7MKXOOXTC4AJ

    It is not always feasible because we still have to HOST files and infrastructure people are very nervous when we ask change the configurations of the host. In addition, it's kludgy.

    Why should the WSDL be consulted before a call that he is done?

    Thank you

    Here is a great article showing how to pass the WSDL dynamically using WebServiceSettingBean type of variable: http://alivecycle.wordpress.com/2013/07/18/wsdl-url-and-webservicesettingbean/

  • Dynamic Url parameters does not?

    Hi, don't know if I forget something ridiculously simple, but I'm having a problem using dynamic link url parameter.

    I have a repeating region from the dynamic text that selects a category based on a name of a recordset object. I have the text from sylvie a category.php page link and click on the section parameter in the link dialog box, enter the category name in the box, click the brightening and select the appropriate field. DW CS 4 still prints the link in the PHP code as that--

    < a href = "SpryAssets/category.php? <? PHP echo $row_rsCategories ["categoryID"];? > = "> <?" PHP echo $row_rsCategories ["categoryName"];? > < / a >

    that does not work. To make this work, I constantly have to manually change the PHP code to something like this-

    < a href = "category.php? categoryID = <?" PHP echo $row_rsCategories ["categoryID"];? > "> <?" PHP echo $row_rsCategories ["categoryName"];? > < / a >

    I tried to follow the tutorials in David Powers and other books that use this method with a lot of attention, but with great frustration that my Dreamweaver prints never good code.

    Dreamweaver generates the correct code. You're just doing it wrong - as do many others.

    Here is an illustration of my Dreamweaver CS4 book. Inspect it.

    You type the variable name in the field name of the settings dialog box, and then click the lightning to the right of the value field. What confuses you and so many others, is that there is also an icon of lightning to the right of the name field.

    Click the lightning badly, and you get the result you did. Click on the right pair, and Dreamweaver generates the expected code.

  • Too late to correct the episode URL?

    I have a problem with a podcast episode, I found out a week later the episode URL was wrong. I corrected the link in the podcast codes. But he is still unable to download podcast software. Is it too late to correct the podcast URL when the subscriber devices downloaded codes for a new podcast?

    Remove the episode with the wrong URL, and then do a new episode with the same descriptions and the correct URL. If the 'guid' tag is not taken from the URL, make sure that it is different from the one in the deleted episode.

    How can I disable the newtab most used feature display sites. I want the new tab to open the page displayed in the newtab:url in the topic: function config

    41 of Firefox is no longer uses the browser.newtab.url setting in about: config because he was constantly attacked by malware. From 41 of Firefox, you need an add-on to change the new tab page.

    Here are a few options (I'm learning more all the time):

    • If you are already using the extension classic restaurateur theme: There is an option somewhere (!) in his dialogues of the parameters to select another page in the new tab.

    Setting up substitute again tab

    After installing this extension, you must use the Options page to set the new desired tab page (instead of use subject: config).

    Open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a (Mac: Cmd + shift + a)
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

    In the left column, click Extensions. Then on the side right, find the new tab override and click the Options button. (See first screenshot attached).

    Depending on the size of your screen, you may need to scroll down to enter the address in the form. (See second screenshot attached). For example:

    • (Default) page thumbnails = > subject: newtab
    • Blank tab = > subject: empty
    • Built-in Firefox homepage = > topic: welcome
    • Any other page = > full URL of the page

    Then tab or click this form field and you can test using Ctrl + t.

    Success?

    Once you have set it as you wish, you can close the Add-ons page (or use the back button to return to the list of Extensions of this Options page).

    By default, you can not in Firefox.

    But you can use an add-on like FoxyProxy Standard, I think he understands the functionality you need.

  • Update the Podcast URL

    I have a podcast that has been updated automatically whenever I added a new post on my site.  This has been implemented by a previous web designer in 2008, and when I updated my website, it kept the same info and just kept the podcast announcement.  I now Drupal WordPress and it does not recognize anything. I tried to get in the podcast and manually download, but I see is what is shown on my podcast as if I'm received, not the owner.  Any ideas how I can get in there and change it?

    Firstly, without your power poster and the iTunes Store URL of the page, it is not possible to assess exactly what is happening. I can't advise on the specifics with Drupal or Wordpress, if you can find documentation of the latter:

    https://en.support.WordPress.com/Audio/Podcasting/

    If changing Drupal, WordPress, you have also changed the feed URL, you must go through a specific process to tell the store to change; the details are described here-
