    Hello BB support forum!

I'm on the version of the os running BB Classic SQC100-1 10.3.2.2639 (on 10.3.1 had the same problem)

A gesture of navigation hub described on page 82 of the manual called .pdf 'go to the next or previous message"

doesn't seem to work on my classic + 3 other classic phones.

Is this a bug in the os?

or - classic is devoid of this feature by definition?

    Kuba

This does not work for me either. But I just used the "N" key to switch the following message and the "P" key to go to the previous message. It's much faster for me.

  • Questions classic blackBerry Blackberry Classic compared to the features and functions of the Bold 9900

I am extremely satisfied with the functionality of my Blackberry Bold 9900 and yet I am fun the idea of upgrading to a classic Blackberry and had a few questions, some of them functional, but one of them is technical:

    (1) I have granularily configured different contacts to the ring through "silent" while some people may sound through if I'm having a NAP or sleep. The classic allows you granularily configure the option of 'ring through' on a manually configured silent mode?

    (2) can the classic surely go to sleep and wake up one day of week / weekend schedule? My current phone doesn't sleep at midnight and wake up at 06:00 every night of the week and 02:00 to 09:00 on weekends.

    (3) back in the day of Blackberry older had a view "of today" where you could see the incoming email and tasks on the main screen. I couldn't get that with my Bold 9900, but I found this interesting app called BePopup which jumps to the top of my texts and emails on the screen as they come, without touching a button. Can you get automatically posted emails or texts with that with the classic?

    (4) the Blackberry plan I have with my provider uses the platform communications for my Blackberry RIM and so my e-mails are immediate, arriving minutes always quicker than other CC (iPhone and Android users) distribution lists. That being said, is the new classic uses what platform these other phones use for messaging connectivity?

Any feedback regarding these essential functions would be greatly appreciated as it will help me in my decision. I am very happy with my 9900 and have little reason to upgrade... unless all of these options are available.

Since there is no information on release around the world of the classic BlackBerry phone so that no e-mail customer support that I can answer this question, I wanted to ask when this phone will be available in other countries other than the U.S., CANADA, FRANCE, GERMANY, UK & country to which UK store provides.

I live in Latvia, which is in Eastern Europe and it is possible to order some of the BlackBerry phones with bite as a carrier (it is the name of one of the carriers the). • BlackBerry classic classic My Blackberry does not ring on incoming calls

    Dear Blackberry classic users,

My phone was working just fine yesterday. Until then, it stopped ringing for incoming calls.

I used the medium profile, the strange thing is that, on this profile, the phone warns me on whatsapp messages, text messages, but not sounds on incoming calls.

Then I activated the normal profile and surprisingly he trained the same ringing sound on incoming calls.

Can someone help me with this problem because I use this phone for my office work and not perfom my tasks with this minor problem.

Restart the device by holding the power button for about 10 seconds, through the countdown through the logo, through the Red led and until the logo appears again.

  • BlackBerry Classic bluetooth voice dialing

My new Blackberry classic makes me crazy.  My phone does not include orders when using the bluetooth in my car (Toyota Rav4).  He then said he has 12 results for one person (not possible).  Or he does not understand?  Then when the call finally passes by, he repeats, such as ' call so and so, home phone 555-222-3333 and so on. "  10 minutes later, if I'm lucky, the call through finally.

I have no need for the phone to repeat the House/mobile number which is called the correct number is programmed into my phone.  Why he don't understand my orders when I speak clearly and sussinctly?

What can I do to stop all this frustration?

    Thank you

    T

Is voice dialing works when you are not using Bluetooth?

If so, it is rather a problem with the microphone of the car of the phone itself.

Regarding the repetition of the number: you can stop in the settings in the wizard:

    The value 'Voice Response' OFF

  • BlackBerry Blackberry classic classic is not playing music

I hope someone can help me with the following problem: my classic Blackberry does not recognize the mp3 format so it does not play my music (my previous Blackberry Classic did play the same music I have on my current phone) or podcasts.

Any help will be very appreciated!

    Some ideas...

You restart the classic and then trying to read the files?

You get an error message when you try to play the files? If Yes, what is the error message?

How do you try to read the files? Have you tried to navigate to files using a file manager and by opening the mp3 a go from there?

If you can read the file, say a computer?

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Classic unknown ID, the client returns the phone.

    Hi blackberry support team,

    I stand,

I am Sinan AKDAS from Turkey, owner of CARSI ILETISIM in ISTANBUL. I am the owner of a retail shop that sells all of the newest smartphones. Lately, i have sold many new blackberry classic phones and one of them is returned to me by customer because he couldn't get pass the blackberry id screen on his new device. It was sealed and new when i sold him. I was surprised as this happened for the first time out of all blackberry classic phones i've sold until now. I need your assistance on removing the anti theft protection of this phone. I don't know how this happened but i've unfortunately become the victim here because customer returned the phone to me. It is useless at the moment. I can provide you all of the necessary documents for proof of purchases about this phone. Need your assistance on solving this issue. I had to contact you as we unfortunately don't have any official blackberry office in Turkey at themoment. Please provide me any necessary steps to solve this problem. I asked the customer if he entered any bbid before, he said no, he couldn't pass the id screen and returned the device to my shop. I can not sell this new device to anyone which is a big lost for as all of my profits are gone if this is not solved.

    Regards.

    Device : Blackberry Classic

It's very frustrating at this time, and you are the only people I can ask for help on this issue. We are a legitimate retail store in Istanbul / Turkey. This is not in any case that a problem has occurred in-flight. I am willing to provide any document you could ask for.

Indeed, it is not a problem caused by the grey market providers, since they buy their blackberry devices itself some counterfeit Chinese factories. Anyway, I learned the lesson and will never reach the request of my clients who want to purchase blackberry devices. They are unauthorized or devices of the houses. BlackBerry is missing in Turkey, one of the largest mobile markets in the world. Turkish people change their phone that they change their shirts. Once I finished my stock of silver edition passwords, there is not one BlackBerry smart phone sold in my store.

I want to thank all of you who responded to my son with the intention to support. And I show my middle finger to blackberry forever.

    Kind regards.

  • BlackBerry Classic trials come from a Torch9810 to a classic

I started to love my new classic after recovering from the shock of the use of a system of BBOS7 and always have some problems with the loss of functionality.

This is not my second BlackBerry, this is my 4th I started with the Curve 8310.

The loss of the e-mail that I had recovered since and reprint business cards was a small expenditure.

My problems with loss of function is not quite as bad as the brockway of the user who posted "Bold 9900 classic: Observations on the lack of functionality & bugs after the switch ' on this page. We have similar problems, but not the same thing.

I put here the case someone who can tell me what I can do to make things easier, or maybe awhile "why didn't we think of this ' BlackBerry Developer will read this.

Here are my questions/gripes on the classic:

The Hub - while a "catch-all" good I would like to see better sorting options. Above all, keep unread messages at the top, unless "filed".

WHY - I get/send a lot of emails sometimes and some are lower priority and had to be dealt with later. Keep on a fast easy to notice the screen would help them noticing.

On this point, the screen does not tell you that you have unread messages, screen "slide up" made. The main screen does not work.

Email - I have acquired to the thread no longer have my old E-mail BIS. The old system on my torch was head and shoulders classic. This can't possibly be resolved because of the way it is set up now.

Here's what I miss: I liked easily mark an email as unread and would add the notifier the number of unread emails reminding you that you did, as I said above the new system does not work.

Recorded second - an easy way to access email, the torch has a icon I could type and I would be in the folder, I can always do, just not more is needed.

Third-marking unread emails takes many steps, I have to open the e-mail, close it, then quickly tap the envelope icon. I could just tap the front.

    The calendar.

The calendar is almost useless, to the point that I rarely use it now. The block for the current date and the slider are of the same color. The cursor always starts in the upper left block on the calendar. The torch has not done that, the cursor began on the date of the day and did not leave a block of color, similar to this topic.

The app remember, it took the search this forum to find that my memos had been moved here. I never used the recall on my Torch, because the schedule was so awesome. Now that the timing sucks a bit, I started using it. These reminder popups, (calander has it too) with the same problem that my previous bays.  I can't be alone in this, I do something on my camera and need to do something that requires me to the touchscreen, the nanosecond before I touch the screen, the reminder and I hit dismiss. Am I looking for what I needed to see.

What would be better - put these notices at the top of the screen as the texts and emails are when a program is open.

BBM when you save a picture, I would have confirmation or rejection that a file is registered or unregistered, currently I have to open the images to verify that it saves.

What would help-changing automatically a number when a double file name is used, since it is originally very likely my problem.

The official case - I do not work in a library, so I miss a lot of calls and messages, due to the thud. The case is so well done, that sometimes I do not notice the vibration either.

What is missed in the test-hole in the bottom that exposed the speaker so that people can hear it.

Let me not having notifications "low power mode" in the hub. I am pleased that they are deleted when the battery is charged.

If you read my rants, I thank you and if you can offer suggestions for I would be happy to listen. If an application is what Miss me I will consider this approach as well.

The classic could be very good, I was expecting the courage of the Passport, but it didn't happen.

There is a guide that is extended by the user for the classic here:

Hello, I have a non-camera on Verizon classic.  Helmet Audio Boost is missing in settings > main Volume.  Verizon says it's the operating system, but I think he is disabled.  Someone else on Verizon can let me know if they have the feature available on their phone?

    Hi @kvndoom

I can confirm that the Audio Boost option is disabled on Verizon BlackBerry 10 devices. Thank you!

  • From iPhone to Blackberry classic classic BlackBerry? My experience.

I've been on Mac and iPhone for years.  I got a classic in August 15.  Here is some information for anyone who is planning to escape from the garden of Apple.  Don't forget - I have a Mac - Yosemite10.10.5.  I use for 3G iPhones.

If you have a Mac there are very little useful Office support.  BlackBerry link works, but can not connect and synchronize music, photos or videos on your Mac.  There is no synchronization Mac calendar and contacts via Blackberry connected via USB link (a USP for me - I don't like my stuff in the cloud).  When I called help BB that they it has blamed on Apple and say that they have no intention to get link BB works with Mac. It is shameful that the BB site is still claiming that Mac users can sync calendars, contacts, music, photos and videos using the BB link.  That's all just a lie.  If the music, photos and video synch is important to you, then you are shagged.  BB link is useful only for backup and restoration of your BB classic.

Calendar and contacts must be synchronized via iCloud - that works well.  Except BB Cal don't pull in iCloud anniversaries and BB Cal pull in Contacts birthdays.   If you have spent important birthdays putting time in Contacts then you wasted it BB are concerned.

Despite the hype, I think BB mix is pretty useless.  If you write a lot of text (I have not), then the ability to write using your Mac keyboard might be useful.  All my mail is IMAP, so it is already on my Mac and I need to see it on my BB at the same time.  The thing is useful that could be so alert were mixed (for example, to open the app Footy results and get alerts on my desktop, now that the sky Flash application is dead) - but the mixture of BB alerts do not work on the desktop - same thought there is a checkbox to enable them.

Theoretically, the mixture is useful for copying stuff between Mac and BB classic.  Link cannot sync things, but the mix allows you to transfer files between Mac and BB classic - a SINGLE FILE at a TIME.  You cannot drag and drop directories.  So if you have 20 GB of music - say 5000 songs in 300 directories - you will need to create the directories on the BB one by one and drag the music files on one at a time.  Apparently, no member of BB thinks that this is not a stupid feature.

To transfer (not synch) files, you can configure the classic BB in USB mode and, sometimes, it appears in the Finder when it is plugged in via USB and you can drag and drop to BB or SD memory.  The classic BB to appear in the Finder is fairly random and, frankly, a PITA.  There is no correlation between the BB being in USB mode or not and if she appears in the Finder — and I gave up with it.   I just remove the memory card, put in a converter and put it in the Mac.  The downside is you have to before BB classic feeding cycle he will probably see the new files (this is slooooow) and then the apps (podcast app, music app, etc.) will be another age to read all data.

Apps?  The most frustrating is that productivity applications and businesses are very thin on the ground for a device traditionally intended for professional users - both BB and Amazon store.  I am an entrepreneur.  I do not play games or do ny social networking stuff.  Apps that I used every day on iPhone are the map time, expense reports, ToDo.   On iPhone, I used HT Pro, iExpensit, Appigo ToDo, Notes on Mac - and I have used them happily for years.  There are no apps for BB approaching these in terms of usefulness.  I've got MyTimesheet classic (not bad - but buggy and dev. ignores emails), Manager of charges (banking something I have to jerk off in Excel for expenses, I can add to bills), ToodleTasks (OK - but no subtasks without subscription) and BB via Evernote notes (OK - but he refuses to sync on a regular basis and the account must be deleted and recreated and re-synchronized every day).  The lack of business utility/productivity applications surprises me.

Other applications that I used a lot (at least once a week) on the iphone-
TripIt - not available for classic BB.  BB trip is sort of OK, but there is sod-all useful calendar integration.
Search results for SkySports Footy and Cricket;  There is nothing that comes close to that I found for BB. I use FotMob but it's flaky.
Podcasts - I never thought that I would have good things to say about the iPhone for the podcast, which has got to be the PoS greatest that Apple have ever produced, but it's a miracle bloody compared to the best of BB - I think that this is bPod - but I listen to podcasts much less now I have the classic BB I did on the iPhone.  It's so hard to manage.
MetOffice weather - not available for classic BB.
AeroWeather - not available for classic BB.
    FlightRadar 24 - NAFBBC.
    eBay - NAFBBC application.
    Amazon App - NAFBBC (!)
    Album Shuffle - NAFBBC
All four of my banking applications - NAFBBC
WiFi BT and Cloud Fastconnect profiles for automatic connection - NAFBBC.  It is a real pain.  The iPhone is just used to connect - good wifi roaming. The BB has to go through the log of the web page every time.

In addition, many apps install without options for privacy and access.  Most BB applications allow you to choose whether to share contacts, location, etc.  If you load via Amazon App Store and many of them give you the same option with Android - i.e. accept any invasion of privacy or do not install the application.

Battery life is looking pretty * beep * for the moment.  I charge it all night and it turns in the economy of the battery in about 1800 - but I've spent a lot of time looking for applications and try to make things work.  If all goes well he will settle after a bit, but it does much better than the iPhone 6.

Of course, I could have to research a bit more before I bought it - and it was a bit of a bargain.  The keyboard is great.  I think that it is more productive than the iPhone to take care of things on the road.  It is much more robust and portable in the pockets of jeans than the iPhone 6.  It has a nice heft.  He got a memory card.  I love the hub.  It's more like a phone than the iPhone (but all also deaf).  It fits in my jacket pocket.  Apart from that, I fight to find something nice to say about it.  I'll give it a go a little longer, but I think after Christmas (or when I've missed someone important birthday!)  I'll be back in the garden of the Apple, the BB will have my SIM of emergency inside and will collide on in the glove compartment in case where...

I have 4 email accounts.   I've got Android applications.  No NFC - not supported by one of my banks.  WiFi on.  No 4g. Bluetooth that on when I need.

Thanks for the tips on reboot, but the classic went to the trash.  Tomorrow I'll be back with my iPhone 6.  I'll be able to sync my music and podcasts again - and I'll be able to hear when I play (the classic volume is too low).  I'll have regained access to my bank accounts and credit cards.   I'll be able to make my expenses and timesheets and sync with my Mac Notes again. I'll be able to back up the phone again.   I won't have to carry the card paper, a notebook and pen and an iPod and a calculator.  And a backup phone.   It will be like putting in the 21st century.

  • Sync blackBerry with Blackberry classic and computer software problems

I get persistent on Blackberry link error messages when I try to sync my BB classic with my computer. The message reads: "CPreferences Manager: Configuration for, preferences, Account_5_327628, SyncAccountld_2 not the value inTransConfig.xml for translator RimBB.'»

What this means and how can I fix the problem, so my sync can be successful, please?

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I followed the procedures. I already have the latest version of Windows 7 Professional on my computer and the 1.2 update link to BlackBerry. I've also posted the order suggested in the command prompt. After pressing the Enter key, I launched the Blackberry link again. Unfortunately, the same errors occurred.

Rather than trying to contact BlackBerry Technical Support Services, I watched again the synchronization process... There seems to be no problems regarding synchronization of the Contacts. However, the mechanism seems to hesitate on the sync of the calendar entries. On this basis, I went back and changed my settings for the calendar so I changed to a two-way synchronization between the device and the computer for a one-way ticket between my device and the computer with a preference given to my device. A message indicating that some elements would be removed from my computer and others from my camera. Given that I printed on my calendar every week from Outlook, I felt that it was worth sacrificing some entries if he allowed the synchronization to continue smoothly. So I accepted the deletions. When I tried to sync again, no error has occurred. At this point I returned to two-way sync as I had before, but always with the preference given to my device.

Perhaps the above can be useful to others who are struggling with the same error message.

  • BlackBerry BlackBerry classic classic compatibility

Hi, can you please confirm that the classic BlackBerry is compatible with Office 365

-Let's get contacts, calendar and emails from one account to Office 365. In addition, it can work with more than one Office 365 account (for contacts, calendar and emails) on the same phone.

    Thank you

    Yep, of course.

It is compatible with all models of BB 10 I think, certainly the Z10 BB I had before my new classic BB.  Go to settings/accounts and configure your Office 365 account, just as you would any other e-mail account.

I have been using Office 365 on my BB devices since February 2013, no problem.

BB world, there's a OneDrive app that works perfectly.

I have no experience with the use of more than one Office 365 account (or any other account), but I imagine that you can have more than one because you can set up multiple e-mail accounts on all devices of BB 10.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry classic Amazon app

I bought my wife the direct classic of Bell Mobility. I he would lie for her, and I noticed that a newer version of Amazon apps as my Z30. I was more than Netflix or zedge (what I was looking for the most part). I tried to install the old version, but I first have to delete it, but I don't know how to remove a permanent application. Can anyone offer a suggestion.

PS the Z30 is ever going to get the update 10.3?

Amazon is awkward.  Download the snap.  It takes a few minutes to load but give you access to over each Android app there are:
