Convert ppt in mpeg or avi files

We are a small charity and have just invested in a TV to act as a Visual display of our services that run a powerpoint presentation. For convenience we want to run it through a usb memery stick TV - but the TV will only play the powerpoint if it is an mpeg or avi file - can help to anyone - I have found some 'free' on the line but not really free converters in the form of display with a watermark or remove all times running through the presentation in seconds grateful for any help or advice

PowerPoint has the ability to create an integrated video.  Before you do, make sure that all your slides are set to 'auto-advance' after so many seconds, so that the show works for you.  You probably already have it if you have set your PowerPoint presentation to play.

Then, to create the MPEG file video, just do this:

  1. In PowerPoint, choose file > export, then choose "create a video".
  2. Set the number of seconds to wait on each slide (or if you have custom settings, tell it to 'Use saved the timing'.
  3. Click record video and save your file.

Hi amberdog, there is not a lot of free converters out there but MPEG Streamclip video converter, http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-win.html is supposed to be the best for both your specifications, in addition to this, it takes support the 28 other formats and can edit videos as well. I hope this helps.

  • How to open or convert the .avi file on old mac running OS.10.6.8?

How to open or convert the .avi file on the old mac running OS.10.6.8.  We tried downloading several conversion programs as well as programs that run .avi, but everyone's message could not be opened on the mac or require a fee.  Anyone able to fix it.  We have great audio video file we need to convert.

Try to use MPEG Streamclip; You can be told to install Perian or another component, or who does not open the AVI file. AVI is a container, not a format; no single component or codec will open all reviews, and some cannot be played or converted in Mac OS X.

  • How to convert AVI files for first CS4 (Mac) with VLC - Please Help!

Hi thanks for the reading-post it here for the first time.

I'm another grass sorry, trying to convert AVI files, so I can import them into first CS4 on a Macbook Pro laptop. I am using VLC on the macbook to perform the conversion. I don't want to use free converters such as iSquint (tried and many others) b/c they cause a significant loss of video quality. But I'm trying to do it for free! (I'm broke).

Been read tons here and on other forums to get advice first, but in my view, none is really specific to my situation.

I'm fine (slight quality loss) video but NO Audio. I want the audio too!

AVI files seized on an old NV3 camera SD card.

VLC said the Codecs for these files I got off the SD card are as follows:
    0 workflow:
    Type - video
    Codec - MPEG - 4 (XVID) video
    Resolution - 640 x 480
    Rate - 30

    Stream 1:
    Type - Audio
    Codec-MS ADPCM (audio ms)
    Channels: Mono
    Sampling frequency - 22050 Hz
    Bits per sample - 16

I tried several different configurations with VLC conversion according to the documentation of "Supported file Formats for import in first CS4": http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/PremierePro/4.0/WSf52ca809ac8f6c7135876f961243120b72d-8000.htm l

For example I tried to convert the same file as follows:

    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG-1 VIDEO 1024 bits/Audio MP3 192-bit
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG-1 VIDEO 1024 bits/Audio MP3 128-bit
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG-1 VIDEO 1024 bits/MPEG Audio 128-bit
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG-2 VID 1024 bits/Audio MP3 128-bit
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG - 1 1024 bits/MPEG Audio 16 bit VID
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG - 1 1024 bits/MP3 Audio 16 bit VID

When converting to MP4 (MPEG-4) I get a general error while importing first so no dice on that, and I tried a lot of other configurations/combinations, but not all.

I check each result with VLC before import into the Prime Minister and they play both audio & video fine with VLC.

My question is the following: what settings can I select in VLC for audio first? Or if there is a specific codec I need to download and install a download link... would be much appreciated.

    Alternative solution?...

If I put these files on the SD card in my camera and click on and drag them on the macbook pro laptop as AVI files (instead of dragging to a PC first, as was the case)... don't you think it would make a diff?  Also, I tried sucking to the top of the camera first, but that didn't work... the camera turns on when connected to the computer... so that you can not navigate to a file on the camera and then use the GUI first to suck.

I have a laptop. These original files play well with Windows Movie Maker because I downloaded the appropriate codec. Hi and low tried a mac version of this codec without result. CS4 my install discs do not work on Windows/PC. Trust me I wish they did! Even the configuration required on the package is in the absence of any mention of Windows. Windows Movie Maker convert .mov... that was my first game b4 plan, I realized that VLC was quite robust and user-friendly in its Export Wizard codec functionality.

Any help would be much appreciated! I swear! I'm banging my head against the wall and I want to just change already!

    Thank you!

Do not use the flow function; This isn't what you are doing.  (Although technically, I don't think it matters)

Use the convert/save option.  The first screening, video - H.264 + AAC (MP4), should work great.  Don't change anything.  Save the file with a MOV or MP4 extension.

If you get audio weird sounding, then create your own preset that matches the Video - H.264 + AAC (MP4) preset, uncheck only Audio the Audio tab and convert to video.  Then run convert/Save using the Audio - CD preset.  Save the file as a WAV (or an AAC?).

Import the 2 files into PR.  You shouldn't have synchronization problems if the points are aligned in when you add them to the sequence.

  • What Preset with. AVI files converted from other sources - pre 7

Sorry, but I'm new and a little confused with some installation options.

I bought the first Elements 7 of Steve book and read it (it's the great BTW) but have a few questions to start my project.

Book of Steve, I understand that I am better to convert my Panasonic. MTS files to AVI (in fact, I am converting all my sources to. AVI).  So my questions are:

    (1) I use AVS video Converter 7.0 to convert all my AVI sources.  AVS offers several AVI profile. It is important that the one that I use?  I want to use the AVI profile called

HD 1080 p video: h.264/AVC, 4200 Kbps; Audio: MP3, 256 Kbps that guard the 1080 and the big screen...

then use the same profile for non wide screen (except use the options of the advance of the to have capture 720 x 540 instead of 1920 x 1080)

The other AVS profiles for. AVI are: (of course, I'm confused why we MPEG-4 in an AVI file, but they all register under.) (AVI)

    AVS AVI options.jpg

    (2) then, then what preset uses?  Since these are all. AVI on my hard drive, I am confused with all the choices.

I am considering NTSC-HDV-HDV 1080i 30, but AVCHD, DV, HDV, and HARD DISK offer all the options that seem to work.

    Thank you

I would recommend capturing your VHS, DVD and video with the ADS Pyro 8mm and I would recommend it download files AVCHD with Premiere Elements and display an AVI from there so that you can combine all projects. (Make sure the parameters of project selected for AVCHD precisely corresponding to your camcorder - and give the file a few minutes to comply before trying to modify.) • PE4 & .avi files & MPEG-2 files from camcorders

Hello.  I recently acquired a Sony DCR-SR220 camcorder (which led me into a "research project" to ensure that I have everything set up as much as possible).  Of the Sony DCR-SR220 files are in MPEG-2 format.  I'm a football coach, and I slowly up to 40% of the original video in order to study children in action and see what needs to be "fixed" with our team.  I need to have the slow motion video which is as smooth as possible.  I could also do PIP or other similar effects in slow motion video.  My previous Sony DCR-TRV280 camcorder, was Pat.  PE4 would capture it as .avi and I could handle these files to great effect.  Now, he only appears when I slow down the DCR-SR220 MPEG-2 files - the movement is erratic. Erratic is defined as the base object in an image, then a "ghost" of the object behind it and a ghost of the object in front of the base in the direction of the movement object.

-Is "erratic shadows of a moving object" caused by the video from the camcorder Sony DCR-SR220 being more compressed than .avi?

-J' heard PE4 works best with .avi files?

-If that's the case, should I import my MPEG-2 files into PE4 and convert to .avi and then change them and then burn my DVD?

If anyone can enlighten me, I would appreciate it.

With the exception of some HD formats, I agree that mfgrs. Made a horrible disservice to consumers with different HARD drive formats and miniDVD, most of which requires significant compression. If it is intended only to display on a TV, then fine. If they really want to change the images, everything is not so good.

HD uses a form of MPEG-2 format, or format H.264 (Apple). Some of them edit better, provided that there is a more recent NLE, a second channel, like Cineform and a fast, powerful computer. Then, if they go to the BD for distribution, all is good enough.

If it makes SD images, editing and then will DVD-Video, they are best advised to go with cassette miniDV cameras.

  • How to convert video files in avi files 3pg need a kind of codecs etc.

I am trying to transfer my video files 3pg by converting avi files to copy on this new player mp3; in the instruction book, which says that if there is no problem converting them, iwould need to download additional codecs to take in charge all the multimedia files. How do you do that?

    Hello

What operating system is installed on the computer?

You don't need codecs for the avi files to convert to be played on the player, if you need to read the files on the computer, then you may need to download codecs from the internet.

You can use your favorite search engine to download codecs and use.

The audio or video file can be converted to a file type that your device can play and then copied to your device. If it cannot be converted (or you don't want it to be converted), you can always choose to copy the file on the device, but you will not be able to play.

I'm looking to burn .avi files that I found in the torrent files downloaded using utorrent on a DVD + R disc.  I noticed in several forums that most of the people seem to have problems in windows media player.  Someone mentioned a program in Windows Vista that could be used, but I'm still in the stone age with Windows XP.  I took some advice and downloaded a program called ConvertXToDVD, but I don't know what to convert .avi files to in order to burn properly and play on a standard DVD player.

.AVI is a video format and .wav audio format...
I suspect that you mean .wmv.

The file size may be preventing you from emailing
the .avi file... all e-mail providers have file size limits.

The SUPER freeware can convert .avi to .wmv file.

Integrate the WMV files in a website, built using WordPress, comes up with an error box. This does not happen with MP4 or AVI files. I have a number of video clips in WMV, so I need to convert them.

    Suggestions?

    Hello

The only possible solution is to use non-Microsoft program to convert a file format to MP4 file format. You can search online to get one of these.

To find the right program, check for the information under articles 'And music videos conversion' in this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Convert-music-videos-and-pictures-from-one-format-to-another

There are many converters available on the net... some

The following freeware converter is just one example:

    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the final screens)
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
    Drag > FFSetup296.exe< out="" of="" the="">
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select ' all-your choice of formats "/ OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...
