Convert swf (back) in pdf format

Hello

There are a multitude of tools to convert a pdf to a swf file, but I have found none to do the reverse, while retaining the elements (text, vector images) of the original file. I tried this HowTo, but gets the text that is rendered as vectors (I guess) and I end up with a file that is 2-10 x as large. Any other ideas?

Kind regards

DImi

After all, there is a solution: bundle all SWFs in a .orb using the application of the first link of files and then convert the .orb in .pdf file using the second application. Both applications are from the same developer.

BTW, .orb searchable files on iPad/iPhone.

  • Is there an Adobe online service that allows to convert into a smart PDF format?

My client needs to combine the files into a pdf file, but they cannot use Adobe Pro DC because they are a government agency and their PC is locked and they cannot load new applications on them. Survey Services PDF Adobe cloud looked like a good solution. However, some of the files that are needed to combine scanned documents and their scanner produces PDF files where each page is an image. In the service of PDF, it is possible to export these PDFs from word using OCR documents, but there is no option to select the output in a smart PDF format. They need the documents to be a true replica of the original, but also be index-able. They would pay for a subscription for a service that can convert to a smart PDF format, but is there an Adobe online service that allows to convert into a smart PDF format?

Try to think about it as "OCR on a PDF by", not some kind of conversion. Who can help you locate a service such as Adobe do not have. Be aware that, if you find the clumsy bureaucracy to get the software installed, it can be insurmountable for a service online because of privacy. Protocols within governmental organizations are strict in order to keep all not controlled.

  • Hi my free trail Adobe Acrobat has expired but is still allowing me to convert Word documents to PDF format is this suppose to happen?

Can someone explain to me the displayed question. I don't want something I'm not supposed to use. Thanks in advance

Very unlikely. You probably use an internal function in Word to save the file in PDF format.

    Exactly how you do it?

I publish a bimonthly newsletter for about 160 subscribers. I dial the thing in Microsoft Publisher, and then convert it to PDF to send to my reviewers and subscribers.

But in the last week or two, the conversion is not possible. I thought it could have been because I accidentally deleted Adobe Acrobat from my computer. I tried to restore and then bought, but nothing helped.

I lived a long session helps with Microsoft, the result was that it is not their problem, and I need to contact Adobe.

    What do you suggest me?

  • Interactive PDF in InD 5.5 then back to PDF format

For InDesign 5.5, I have an interactive PDF (no film, the user can interact using Acrobat Reader) I want to put in a new InDesign document, and then add text (using InDesign) and finally PDF document the InDesign, that always keeps the features in the original interactive PDF. How can I do this? Any idea is appreciated.

It won't work. Once you place the PDF file in InDesign, it loses its interactivity.

You can use Acrobat to merge an interactive PDF with a separate PDF, you created in InDesign, and it would keep its interactivity.

Or, you could go back to the program that created the interactivity and add the text.

  • How to convert English to Spanish, I converted my document to PDF format and now I need to convert in Spanish

How can I convert English into a Spanish document

    Hi nancyh.

Acrobat and Acrobat.com online services do not translate a document from one language to another (you can select a particular language for the optical recognition of characters or OCR, when you work with a scanned document, but is not what you are looking for).

There are several utilities available on the web free translation. Or, you can just copy the text and paste it into Google Translate.

  • Chapter of digitized book converted into word and then back to pdf - PDF final chops pages

    Hello

I downloaded the trial version of Acrobat Pro DC because I was told that instead of having to take notes in the manual of chapters of books scanned in my referencing system, I could convert it to a readable/editable word document, then back to pdf format (which is easier to use in the likes of Mendeley, devoir2 etc.).

I managed to convert the original scan - which has two pages of the book by page, format the format landscape and landscape - in Word and all the text was maintained. This was very good. The problem occurred when I tried to convert this word in a PDF document. At this point, only the left side of each page (if the left page of the open book) was complete and the right side has been reduced by half. I tried to turn all of the text in the word so document flowing sideways through a portrait page layout (which is how the initial analysis was and I just turn it in my referral program). It's the same thing when I tried to convert to pdf format. The right side of each page was still cut off, even if the version of Word was all there.

Anyone has a suggestion how to get around this problem?

    Thank you.

You can use "Recognize text" under Tools > improve scans

  • Is anyway to convert massive amount of PDF files in word document without having to go through each and one of them

Adobe PDF does wonderful job when it comes to convert the PDF file to Word document. However, I would like to know if there is anyway to convert my many PDF files in Word without having to go through each and of them clicking me and confirming questions for the conversion? For example, there is an option to convert many files in PDF format simply by checking a box to indicate the ones I want to be converted. However, I don't see this option when it comes to convert a PDF to Word format. I need to go through them each and individual verification of various things such as folders to destination. It would really save me some time because I wouldn't need to sit in front of my laptop, manually by clicking more.

    Hi chaconne1003,

You can do this by creating an action ExportPDF in Acrobat, however, acrobat would encourage it several times in the process, usually for the location of the file that results, the file format resulting, then it really isn't an automated process.

However, if you have a subscription to the service online pdf export, all you need to do is select all the files at once which are to be converted, set the option of conversion to Microsoft Word and then you can sit back and look at the files being downloaded and automatically converted.

Once all the file conversion is complete, you will be prompted to download the converted files. However, it can also be tedious process if the size of the file being downloaded pdf is large or you are on a slow network.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

    Rahul

  • How to convert a word in PDF file?

How to convert a word document into a .pdf file?

    Hi wertheca,

If you have Acrobat (full version), you can convert a file to PDF by choosing File > create > PDF of the file. You choose your Word document, and then click open to convert the file to PDF format.

If you do not have Acrobat, you can use a subscription of services online in Acrobat to convert almost any file format into a PDF file with a simple click or two. For more information, see more Acrobat, PDF package, PDF Export & more | Documents Acrobat solutions

    I hope this helps.
