HP LaserJet 5035 MPF: Initialization of HDD HP LaserJet 5035 MPF

Hello

I am troubleshooting a problem with a printer HP LaserJet 5035 MPF.

The control panel shows the 49.FF81 error, what I was doing:

-Update the firmware and drivers to the latest version.

-Cold reset

-Change the hard drive.

I turn on the printer, configure the TCP/IP stack. the beginning of the printer works properly.

After 5 to 10 minutes, the control displays 49.FF81 error Panel and I loose the access and the printer will not work.

I'm doing a reset disk, but I have not found the procedure how to do.

Please, I need help.

Thank you

I doubt that the hard drive is your problem, but here are the instructions that are in the maintenance manual, which you say you have.

1. turn off the unit.
2 turn the unit on and immediately hold down the Start button on the keyboard of the Panel as
as soon as the Panel of configuration-display backlight lights.
3. continue to press the button start until all three-panel LEDS remain lit.
Release the Start button.
4. press the 5 key to access the function of mid-tier service.
5. press 6 to select the service function of intermediate level (initialize disks).

If indeed the unit goes to the error after a period of time with the printer not attached to anything except the power, I think that you need to replace the formatter.

  • HP LaserJet maintains initialization every 5 minutes on the minute no matter what I do.

I'm on my second HP LaserJet M276nw in a month. Both are on sleep after 1 minute... one did from the beginning, worked/second was sleeping fine for a week and now every 5 minutes it does it of noise, wakes up without reason and goes in initialization mode, then back to sleep. Very annoying. Is there a way to stop this? I was told by support that it is not normal, then I traded one and now I have another.

I use it very little, yet a lot of ink, and it is plugged directly into its own support.

ANY IDEAS to try would be very appreciated, other than that I like the printer up to now

Thank you Lion, but I have tried this several times because that's all the Indian call center suggests to try again and again, does not work well.

I discovered thanks to a suggestion from dansdaduk that if I unplug my router and then turn off my printer, wait, then turn on my printer with nothing hooked up wireless, and then restore my wireless router, things seem to be FINE. Makes about 6 days now and everything seems still well but were not using everything as far as the end is... still could happen again, but if I can get a week or more out of this solution, I'm HAPPY!
Thank you very much, if it continues this way I'll mark the resolved next week.

  • My MFP HP Laserjet Pro M225dw stuck on HP «Initializ ing» logo

I have a HP Laserjet the MFP Pro M225dw, less than a year. After having turned off for two months, he's stuck on the screen "Initializ ing" the HP logo.

Can somone advise how to start?

    Greetings @LeeSRQ,

Thank you access the Forums from HP Support for extra support! I see that the printer is locked during initialization after you have not used for two months. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

Try a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

I suggest to try and update the firmware of the printer. It always needs to be updated even if the printer is in an error state: HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility. Just select your operating system.

I'll send you the reset of the printer try in a private message.
In the forum next to your handle name simply click on the envelope to see.

If this helps you to find a solution, please click on the button "accept as a Solution. If you wish, to say thank you for my effort to help, click on the 'Thumbs Up' to give me a Kudos.

  • LaserJet Pro M177FW MFP: Laserjet Pro MFP M177FW stuck in initialization

I bought a LaserJet MFP M177fw Pro a few days, and during installation, he immediately found himself in initialization mode. I tried to restart the printer and reinstalling the drivers, which are correctly installed according to my computer. It is plugged directly into a wall of output, not a surge protector and I have tried unplug, wait a minute and reconnecting.  I tried to update the firmware, but the installer think that the printer is in error mode and will not go forward. I scoured the forums HP but was not able to solve problems more.

The scanner works fine when I said to scan from the desktop, then the computer and the device is certainly speak to one another.

In addition, the printer is supposed to make a loud click and rapid when it is turned on?

    Thank you!

  • LaserJet 200 M276nw works for a week or so starts the initialization of all 5 minutes.

Hi, I am now on my third laserjet 200 M276nw in less than a month. I have never seen any company as incompetent as HP... nobody can understand this, what I have available is Indian phone centers... they just read and re-read the same scripts for me again and again and want to replace my laser printer new, expensive with a refurbished. I just want one that works and is not "initialize" every 5 minutes on the minute, it is more accurate than Big Ben, but never stops never whining and squealing, day and night. I'm running out of options, HP is about to lose my business forever... won't let my day 30 trial jump in their 1 year warranty or I'll be stuck with a renovated / someone else's problem.  Must be something simple or something I am not, read everything I can find, but apparently, this happens only to me? WEIRD, I can't get 3 'or MORE' of a defective product in a row.

ANY IDEAS or HELP would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    CAPER

I think I knew, still on trial with her, could happen again. I found that when I unplugged my router that you suggested, and off the printer. Then turn on the printer and then to restore the wireless router, it seems to last a while on the first try anyway. Now it's been about 6 days and everything seems always very well.
Could happen again, but if I can get a week or more out of it, I'm happy.

    Thank you dansdad.

    Kudos to you.

  • HP LaserJet Pro M1217nfw multifunctional stuck in initialization

I have printer HP LaserJet Pro M1217nfw multifunctional and he is stuck at the step of Initilizating. I have tried rebooting printer several times but he won't anyther. Each light flashes for a few seconds and the lcd displays init... message for some time and then the cycle continues.

My printer warranty expired 4 days ago and I can't buy a warranty either. Can anyone solve the problem?

    Your help is very appreciated.

Thanks a lot for your help on above steps. There is no button GB LaserJet Pro 1217NFW. I tried all combinations of possible keys, but could not make the printer out of step initialization.

Howerver error led me to the stage where I started the printer and then removed the Toner Cartridge. You may need to wait patiently for a few minutes. This you have printer off-cycle of initialization of the error. After which, I inserted the cartridge in and the printer started working. However I had to redo the connectivity wireless with my router after that.

Until this printer and scanner are awesome to work wireless. Hope this helps someone who could face same issue.

    Hi GayleneC,

Thank you for the update and additional information.  I really appreciate it.

You indicated that you tried to update the firmware, I wonder because the printer is not connecting to web services that is may not have logged in to check the updates of the firmware.  I have included two links, one is for the Windows of HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility version , the other is for the Mac version of the HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility. Please choose your operating system and we will try and update the firmware without using the front panel of the printer.

After you run the firmware update utility, please disable IPv6 wireless via built-in web server.  Please follow the steps below:

    1. To open the HP embedded Web server, type the IP address of product in a Web browser address line. When it opens, it should look like the screenshot below.

    2. Please click on the 'Network' tab as highlighted in the screenshot above.

    3. Please click on 'Advanced' in the side menu on the left as indicated above. Please disable IPv6 and click 'apply '.

    4. Please click on the "HP Web Services" tab.

    5. Please click on the button "activate". Print the newsletter of Web Services.

    Hello

M277dw Laserjer HP support only two printing automatic two sided, it do not support two-sided copy of an original (ADF duplex).

I don't know what printer you used, but each model has its own characteristics and the M277dw offer all ADF duplex capability.

  • HP LaserJet M1005 MFP: keep initialization error printer... Error 50.0, a fuser problem

    Hello

I get an error of 50.0 error when printing on the printer. The LED display keeps showing 'initialization' instead of 'Ready' So what equipment I need to replace? What would be the cost? And my warranty expired.

    Hello, Mr. Chan

50.0 is an Assembly linked to fuser error. This error happens when the fusion station is not able to maintain the right temperature.

Consists of heating element, for memory on the set of features-fuser Thermistors, teflon etc. If thermistor is not able to reach operating temperature so that it can send the signal to the printer I'm willing to work, then it gives 50.0 error message.

Generally this related station merger, but in rare scenarios, this error may be related to food, when the supply voltage is not good.

I recommend you to get the assembly Fuser replaced in this printer. total downtime for the spare REPLACED won't be more than 30 minutes including the general cleaning of the printer. Technician on site will focus all relevant spare parts for replacement or you can visit your authorized Service Center HP closest to the fo fusion station REPLACED.

    Kind regards

  • LaserJet Pro m177fw loud rattling and then is blocked during initialization, will not print

    Hello

This printer has delivered today, it looks awesome, but when I turn it on, it was a rattling noise (as something to try to turn it on, but do not attract a gear or something on the inside, this happens immediately to market, and then he's stuck in the initialization.  If I go to the home button and go to configuration, then reports and report configuration panel, I get a big green check mark.  I noticed that on the menu item straighter, there is a yellow warning, and it doesn't seem to be able to get details on the color ink levels.  I took the ink cartridge and looked at him and it looks like there is not something to activate the cartridge (it was in my very old HP Laser jet).

What Miss me on the installer?  I read the instructions twice and also hard to put off the printer by pulling on the plug and wait a minute to plug it back in.  Same thing happens, thank you!

    Sean

Well Yes, I found it, but then he touches, the printer goes just to 'initializing' to "xx_color_xx forward movement", well, nothing moves, it stays like this all night.

So here's the answer.  After spending over 2 hours with tech support, they concluded that the faulty unit.  Unfortunately the HP support could only charge me $10 to replace, so I had to call the store (which oddly enough was also HP, which means that the display of the organizational structure of HP for me.)  ), I had to remind HPShopping.ca and get them to replace it.  I get a label shiping and will send it back and get a new one.

Thanks to those that Chorus and helped.  Appreciate the efforts with the community forums!

  • LaserJet M1530dnf MPF: hp laserjet M1530dnf MPF slow printing

The technical specifications of this printer are 26 ppm print speed.  Last night, I tried to print a PDF of the 31 page. He of nine pages printed in 22 minutes before I cancelled the print job.  I have a HP Deskjet 6600 for color printing.  I sent the same set of files, for B & W, on the printer. It completed all 31 pages print in less than six minutes.  Both printers use a wireless connection.  Printer drivers for both have been updated 12 Apr 15.  All Microsoft programs have been implemented.  The 6600 is about three years old.  I had the M1530dnf Laserjet for about 45 days.  This is just the most glaring of printing obnoxiously slow of the Lasterjet. Even a five-page Word document can take between 3 to 5 minutes. Device Manager reports the printer works correctly, but this is obviously not the case.

Any thoughts on where to go next is appreciated.  The printer is still under warranty, so I can go back to the problem at HP. If thast its my discretion, someone as good to use phone number? I used the number on the support web site and has undergone three people and during half an hour on hold only to be disconnected.  I want to streamline this process by contacting the right person in the first appeal.

    TIA

It turns out that the problem has been attributed to an update necessary firm dishes.  HP did a remote control section, had the problem isolated very quickly, made the correction and all within half an hour that the printer was back where it should be.

Everyone gets kudus to help; everything you suggested has me closer and closer.  Filling the steps you helped me a lot smarter sound.  When I talked to HP, I had accounted for most of the possible variables.  In this way, the time with them was much more productive.
