Convertible laptops

I apologize in advance if this is not the right place for this question.

I desperately need a new laptop computer and wants to stick to the Apple, but my shopping left me a little disappointed.  It seems that Apple intends to own you multiple devices for different purposes, but I'm really attracted to the portable convertibles (such as spectrum x 360 hp).  I can't afford multiple devices (like a starving artist), but I would definitely stay with Apple.  So my question is, is there the chance they will develop a more all-in-one type of computer or who didn't really go against their current philosophy?  If they could have a development I'm willing to wait, otherwise I would have perhaps come back to * trait * Windows.

Thanks in advance for any ideas

  • Spectrum x 360 Convertible: laptop grinds to a halt when plugged into its charger.

    Hello

I hope someone can advise me.

My laptop recently has problems of severe performance as soon as I plug it into the charger. Everything runs slowly, even just open a website takes an age, windows navigation menus is slowly, basically, every action you perform runs on a 10th of normal speed.

I used HP online support and the chap took control in my PC remote, lots of services disabled and starting the process and then restarted my PC, making it even more useless! I couldn't even reconnect to the HP support to undo changes, he did. And he has not tried to call me after f * king my laptop.

Anyway - I have heard that a defective charger may cause the problem I'm having, but when I suggested that he told me that it is a myth.

Can someone tell what could be the problem. The parameters of plan of my food look good and nothing has been changed in the OS, so I can't understand why this only happens when I load the wretched machine and can only assume a faulty charger or mobile hardware problem

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey there!

It is MCC, another post that you comment. I can't find the answer on this topic button so I found you here instead.
Looks like you have the same problem I had. I tried tons of stuff to fix the problem but nothing did the trick.

But then, I decided to buy a new AC adapter and check if it was the problem.

    AND IT SOLVED EVERYTHING.

I don't pretend to know that your computer has the same problem as mine, but for me, a brand new $ 80 real laptopparts.ca AC adaptor has been around. Laptop still works like a charm on this adapter. I made sure to buy a better one than the one that came with my laptop. I used to have a 90W, now I have a 135W, compatible with my laptop model.

I hope that she can help you to know that it worked for me.

    Best wishes

  • HP Pavilion changeable: need help determine which laptop to buy

I was hoping that somoene could help me determine which laptop is the best for me

I have a powerful desktop computer, so I have no need for anything either super madly fancey-shmancy
I really just want something that I can take with me on a business trip and inspired as I ask myself in bed

    I was watching the 13s (?) HP Pavilion x 360 convertible laptop
Basically, I need a touchscreen laptop that can include:

    • Support a PRESSURE of the STYLUS pen
    • A kind of mode you can activate for that screen ONLY takes the stylus input.

(Think if you draw on a sheet of paper, your hand is placed on the paper, but you're only drawing in pencil)

And until someone offers Wacom - Yes, I have a Wacom tablet, I love it - but it is so awkward while your eyes focus on the monitor of drawing with your hand. The only other option would be to spend about $1300 for the Wacom tablet, I'd be interested - and WHY do that if I can buy a laptop touchscreen that serves more than one purpose?

  • Which screen is best for the new laptop

I am a photographer of nature pro and you are looking to buy a new convertible laptop and I decided on the spectrum of HP 360 x 13.3 inches. I'll be using it for travel, showing pictures to clients and on the road, making a few changes on the images. This is not my main editing tool, but when you travel for long periods, I would not share a few images.

    HP offers two screens:

    13.3 "diagonal QHD + FPS BrightView - backlight WLED (3200 x 1800)

    or

13.3 "diagonal QHD UWVA BrightView backlight OLED compatible multitouch glass (2560 x 1440) on board edge

For the race of lightroom and photoshop and make a few changes. Which screen is best?

I'm not really familiar with OLED, but it seems that the main selling point is deep blacks. It is very good for watching movies and virtually nothing else. If you work for printing, so jet of ink or offset, she has a problem of pure and simple. Obviously, no drop-down list paper/ink never remotely cannot match - and if you're in there for a monumental disappointment when you see the result.

The objective is always of "what you see is what you get". This means lower the contrast on the screen ratio.

I keep my Eizos calibrated to 0.5 cd/m² dark purposes most - which is actually high enough - to get a good screen to print match. For some work on Matt paper I go as high as 1.2 cd/m².

The other advantages of OLED - wide angles of vision and the wide range of colors - are already covered by IPS/PLS/AMVA existing panels.

Yes the 8600 has a full suite of Windows 10 drivers and applications and the laptop you are asking on a USB port (actually 2) ordinary, it should be easy to download the software and set up the printer on the new laptop... If you are connecting directly with a cable or wireless.

    Hello:

Here is the link to the service manual for your model.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c04153107.PDF

The list of wireless cards supported are in Chapter 3, page 16.

They are the cards of single band.

If you are ready to roll the dice, it seems that HP has deleted from the white list of the BIOS on these newer models made in the last year.

Here's a thread (and I have link I posted there) which means that consumers seem to be install all wireless cards they want.

While I can't guarantee success in your particular model, it can be worth it.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/wireless-Internet-home-networking/why-no-dual-band-NIC-card/m-p/4019924#M69140

    Some possible candidates...

    Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2 x 2 WiFi + BT 4.0

    Intel Dual Band Wireless-N 7260AN WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n 2 x 2 + BT4.0

    Broadcom BCM943228HMB 802.11abgn 2 x 2 Wi - Fi + 4.0 BT Combo adapter

You can also try the older Intel 6230 and 6235 cards.

The Intel 6235 also has support for widi as well as bluetooth.

If you decide to take a chance on the upgrade of the WLAN card, poster, please come back and let us know the results.

OK, it of maybe a stupid question, but won't be my first, and I am sure that it will not be my last.

For him get out of the way, I did mess up and do not follow my own protocols for the manufacture of the recovery disks and appropriate backups before moving on to a system.  I have a HP Pavilion netbook I've recently upgraded to Windows 8, and I hate myself for doing it since then.
Qualifier: I don't think that the OS is as bad as many others say, but I don't think it's a good choice for a device that doesn't have a touch screen.  I have it used on the other while in addition, tablets and new convertible laptops and have no problem with her on these devices.  That said, I don't think it has no place on any device that does not have a touchscreen.
Back to my question, so I want to just restore the copy of Windows 7 Home Premium on the device by using the original product key is it came with.
I have read some other similar forum posts and tried to use the files a links provided in these responses, but so far none have worked, and I wonder if it's a compatibility issue?
Construction on the product key label is X 16-96072 and my search for which did not provide any interesting information yet, but I intend to keep looking.
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello

The models CF - 19 digitizer support Windows XP Tablet Edition. The models CF - 19 touchscreen supports Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows Vista.

Windows 8 is not supported in touch screen Toughbook CF - 19 c, we can try to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check out.

You can download the drivers designed for Windows Vista, Windows XP and install it using the compatibility mode of Windows 8. Follow the steps.

    (c) search for troubleshooting, click settings in the right-hand column.

    (d) click on troubleshooting. Click on run for earlier versions of Windows programs

    (e) click Next, select do not appear. Click next

    (f) click Browse and select the installation program that you downloaded via the link above.

    (g) click Next, click the troubleshooting program

    (h) check the program worked in earlier versions of Windows, but that will not install or run box now

    (i) click Next, select the latest OS known functional for this driver (probably Windows 7)

  • Re-installing Adobe Creative Suite

    Hi all

A few years ago, I was a student of art and so I bought the edition teacher of Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium from amazon.  Successfully, I activated and installed my software.

My problem is that my computer died a week ago and I so need to re - install the Creative Suite.  Key points are:

    • I was not a student for a year now.
    • I don't have my original serial number on file or in my registered e-mail address.
    • I have my product code.
    • I have my old hard drive externally with the software originally installed.
    • I never registered my product.
    • Both my laptops old and new are convertible laptops Lenovo (Windows).

It may not be relevant but if I'm native and studied in the United Kingdom, I am currently alive in the Japan and will be for at least the next four months.  It't really important for my career that I recover this software as soon as possible so that any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Aimee

You can contact adobe support.  There is a chance that they will be able to find your serial number http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service1.html

  • HP Pavilion x 360 Convertible: My HP laptop used to install updates HP or search new

I have a laptop HP convertible and when I open Hp Support Assistant, it says that I have to do an update, but when I try, it comes to install but it finishes check disk space and that he refuses to go any further. I tried to restart the phone several times, but the issue continues to occur. Also, when I try to check out the new updates, that there no more than to download, it is not even download.

    I hope someone can help.

    Nate16

You probably have two very different questions here - HP upgrades and Windows updates.

On the first, if you are past this PC to an earlier version of Windows, he probably still has the old version of HP Support Assistant on her.  That being the case, you must use this link to download and install the latest version: HP Support Assistant. HP® Official Site

Regarding the updates of Windows, the birthday is deployment in the world right now!  This will slow down the MS servers to a crawl.  I wouldn't worry Windows updates for a day or two.

If you still aren't getting them within a few days, try to reset Windows Update: Windows Update - reset Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

    Good luck

  • It's going to be a Latitude XT4 or other laptop / tablet PC convertible?

I am a maniac of the computer laptop convertible tablet/PC where the screen can rotate and fold into the keyboard (i.e. the type of series Latitude XT).  I don't like the services currently offered by Dell that apparently replace the XT3.

    My future computer convertible to replace my XT3 once he falls down after the warranty is up must have the following characteristics;

    • The keyboard stick point as the XT3, I hate the touch keys.
    • Same type convertible; screen swivels and folds on the keyboard for mode Tablet as the XT3 or keyboard is removable like the Compaq TC1100 or Lenovo Thinkpad Helix.  I also have a Fujitisu Lifebook P1630 and U820 I like.  The P1630s and the U820 are my UMPC to travel in the short term.
    • 13 '' or small screen.

I hope someone from Dell of engineering and marketing is reading.  If nothing comparable to the XT3 is available from Dell, when I'm ready to buy again I'll probably go to Lenovo as the manufacturer of my laptop / tablet convertible PC primary.

    Hi LouisCyphre,

Dell Announces never advance, what new innovations they release. All that we can do is wait and see what they release sales.

I want to add external gpu on my laptop.

It is very important to add a gpu because I am not able to play games of high quality graphics with intel.

    Please give me a solution.

    Thanks in advance

External GPU are not a solution to everything. Perhaps a laptop with a shot of lightning-3 c/USB port can use the external graphic but for older hardware, the only way to reach the eGPU is through the PCI-e slot card which is where the wireless is connected. There is no viable way to open your laptop and install such a device. And even if you could the pci-e slot 1 x and it is not enough bandwidth to work properly the video of the game.

So it's a bitter pill to swallow, but if you want the game on a laptop, you can buy a portable game.
