  I recently bought Windows 8 after an online test (aka Upgrade Assistant) from my computer that says it would work. However, when insert the disc of Windows 8, it is said showed an alert/warning that it may work for Windows 7 but can not for Windows Vista or XP. The salesman at Staples said it would work (so the part of why I bought it), but it might remove applications and software I had installed, take it back to factory settings. I'm fine with that, I don't mind re - install Office and my other software. I would be very happy if someone could tell me how to get Windows 8 to install and remove Vista.
