  I want THAT NPC s to perform the functions that are declared on the charge, all as variables, and when the right parameters are met, add this function to the root, so that she can be declared separately form the NPC brain when parameters are activated from the separate textbox / discussion MC.

  I have some other ideas, but it would be more comfortable.

  but it would be better to create an NPC class containing the functions and variables common to all NPCS.  each particular NPC would inherit from this class and also to define additional variables and functions necessary for this character and, if necessary, replace some (or all) of the methods and variables NPC.

  For a copy of the string s with everything except the numbers (0-9), was deleted:

  The expression above will work in Oracle 10 and higher.
  In any version, you can use TRANSLATE to remove the numbers, then reuse TRANSLATE to remove these characters from the s.

  Sometimes when the FF closes, no not all stops correctly.
  On Windows, start the Task Manager (other systems may have
  different names and / or commands). Select the process.
  Look towards the bottom of the list for Firefox. Click right and then click end task.

  In those early days, CVI was supposed to be cross-platform, so it was logical to develop a set of libraries that operate in the same way across the different computers it was targeted at. These days, the focus seems to be primarily under Windows, so this philosophy at the beginning is a bit redundant, especially, as you say, with the widespread adoption of ANSI-C.

  Personally, if there are similar functions in CVI, and ANSI, I'll go for the ANSI, whenever for portability of the reasons, but yet I write code in a number of different programming environments.

  Many e-mail clients save a copy of emails sent in a special folder. Let us know what email client you use. If you are using the Intrernet ISP mail servers, they can send you a copy of their newspapers, given the appropriate means of identification. Some may, but not at least by subpoena for reasons legal (laws of privacy, et al.).

  And finally and most importantly, the recipient's eMail and ask that they "pass" return.

  That's when I get the error. But sorry, I was looking for too many error messages! I have worked that the one I posted above is because put_line can accept only strings and numbers not Boolean, the mistake that this function returns is:

  Sure.  If you are having problems, post your code (both the function and some PL/SQL that calls it).

  The BOOLEAN data type exists only in PL/SQL, not in SQL, so if the function returns a BOOLEAN value, then you can't call it in a SQL statement, even if this SQL statement is used within PL/SQL.  For this reason, a lot of guys write functions that return a NUMBER (1 or 0) or a string (' t ' or 'F') rather than return a BOOLEAN value.
