• Copy and paste problems.

  I started having problems when I try to copy and paste text from one program to another.  Two known issues.

  I can't copy and paste text from word processing Microsoft Works 8.5 on Windows Mail, version 6. CTRL C and paste, or right-click Copy and paste, the two methods only stop Windows Mail.

  As there is no spell check here I tried to write this question on work and copy and paste on here. But he just farm Explorer. And I had to restart and reconnect.

  I've been aware of this problem last week, and I have not loaded any addition or program updates, only those coming behind the sceens from Microsoft.

  It seems that your OS has corrupted. However if the problem happens with Works 8.5 processor only, I suggest you try to uninstall and reinstall. In case this does not work, try to run the command SFC. To run this click Start, type "cmd" without quotest and right click on CMD and click on "Run as Administrator" and when the black window appears, type the following command.

  SFC/SCANNOW

  I suggest you restore your computer to factory settings. You can do it from this link-

  However, this will remove everything from the computer and you will lose all the information on your computer. So use it as a last resort and after you have backed up your data.

• Problem with copying and pasting the bottom like a layer

  I use Photoshop elements 14.  I used the Polygonal Lasso to select part of an image and to turn off the Cup in a new layer.  I opened the image I want to use as the background to place the cutting on.  I select all and then copy and paste it into the file with the cutting.  What appears as a layer of this background in cutting a file image is a tiny part of the original image.  For example, the original image is a photo of the entire landscape and all that glue in the bottom layer is a small part of the sky.  I changed the resolution of the original background photo and the file with the cutting at the same resolution and that did not help.  How can I get the whole background photo to appear as a layer of the file cut on the Photo?

  If I understand your problem, using this example, I selected the background flower later and placed on a new layer, layer 1. Then I selected the field of the whole flower to another image and and copy/pasted on layer 2. The problem is not so much the resolution of 2 photos but rather their pixel dimensions. In this example, the dimensions of the field of flowers were much smaller than the image of the close-up.

  Perhaps it would be easier to pick the flower of the image enlarged and paste the selection in the field of flower photo. Then, you can resize and reposition the flower according to the needs:

  Hi, I am trying to build a new Web site and need to copy and paste the text from the existing site on the pages I've created.  The problem is that the text will automatically highlight and I can't seem to format without underscores.  It does not show it in design mode, but when I click to listen to samples, it is all stressed.  Thoughts on how to fix this?  Yes, I saved and regenerated.  He is always there no matter how many times I try to reformat.  I have tried to highlight all and then turn it off.  Nothing works.  Help!

• New to InDesign, with problems of objects vs just copy and paste.

  I'm working on my first page of brochure layout in InDesign.  I am having some problems when trying to place some simple vector Illustrator in my Indesign document.  When I do a place in the file, the image loses its sharpness, but if I select the image in Illustrator then copy to HAVE and paste into InDesign, it looks great.  I don't know enough for all this knowledge if this will have a negative effect on printing, or any other aspect of the finished product.  When you use the copy and paste method I don't seem to be able to change original that the work doesn't seem to be "associated" with a file I but rather just work in the InDesign document, if I understand correctly.  I'm doing something wrong?

  Best practice is to always use place. You don't have to worry about how the image looks in InDesign - this is just a glimpse of the screen. You can improve its look a bit using the view > display performance > high quality display. Even then, what you see on the screen is always a preview and will not look as good as what's to print.

  Remember that when you actually print, data from the original Illustrator, (not the preview) file will be used for output.

  Shortcuts do not work. I can't do that copy/paste via the menu.

  It seems to be a problem with the latest version of Adobe AIR (14.0)

  To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

  -First, uninstall 'Adobe AIR' from the control panel

  -Download the previous version of Adobe AIR from this link

  Archived Adobe AIR SDK versions

  (search for the 'runtime Adobe AIR 13 downloads' section and downlaod version of windows)

  -install this version and then start story again to check

• Translation problem click / highlight boxes when copy and paste slides from another project

  I am baffled by this problem because it doesn't seem wise. I opened a new project to record a simulation, and when I did, I copy and paste all the slides in the section in my "Master project" If you want to. After the dough, I noticed that all of the boxes, clickboxes and highlight, I had taken the time to carefully resize were all out of wack in terms of position. Here are the best, I opened a blank project and copy and paste the same slides... this time the click and highlight boxes were in the correct position. Any ideas?

  Oh, 'in position '... I see...

  The project is bigger than the other? For example, the original perhaps to 800 x 600 and the new to 850 x 650?

  Positioning can then be turned off relatively...

  Take a few elements of the sample and note their x / y positions of the properties panel, in the first draft (under 'Transform' in CP 5.5).

  After pasting in the new, note these same x / y positions.

  Is there a significant factor?

  If this is the problem, make sure that the sizes are the same, make the dough, then expand the project later (and maybe everything will keep its anchors?)

  I have not seen that happen in new versions of CP.

  You can try to check "Keep the Proportions" option in the properties of the original, just in case where this helps to "compel the position" too... guess total...

• 'Improved' TB does not allow me to copy and paste from Word you can solve the problem?

  My guess is that Word is wrapping the text in a table to make it look exactly as it did in word.

  What measures have you tried - prefs.js or user.js edition?

  My recommendation would be to use Windows shortcuts to cut, copy and paste: Ctrl + x, Ctrl + c and Ctrl + v. You can also use the context menu for these actions. On most websites, you don't really need to use the buttons for these features.

• Problem copy and paste paths in the new document

  Before when I copied and pasted the traces on a new document, it was working fine and the paths are out of the right size. Now even if I don't do anything else when I copy and paste a path into a new document, the trail comes out really small! I tried the two dragging the path and copy and paste, but neither will not work! Any suggestions? Thank you

• Copy and paste problem CS5.5 weird

  I'm trying to paste text from Word 2010 in CS5.5. It is a 64 page program that I designed and edited over the years.

  The original document was a PDF. I copied the text that pasted in Word and only copied and pasted into InDesign. Oddly enough, and for the first time, every sentence is underlined (margin to margin) on the pasted text. I tried to paste directly from the PDF and directly from Word.

  I'm afraid I don't do that start to change this program and will be paste in nearly 60 pages of new text. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening and what I can do to prevent it?

• simple copy and paste problem

  I must not have my image correctly recorded or marked or whatever the button is not pressed.  I have an image I want to copy and then paste on another page.  In addition, grab and drag I should be able to "copy" and "Paste" on another page.  What I'm missing here?  Here is a view of my screen that shows what I'm trying to copy.  Something must not be ticked off or something.

  

  Your source image, press Ctrl + A (select all) and then Ctrl + C (copy), navigate to your image of the destination and Ctrl + V (paste). Note: Layers can keep copy & pasting, so approach all those in the source image.

  I read a few testimonials online that this can be caused by a damaged or replaced system file.

  Try to start a CMD window (i.e., Run As Administrator) and running: SFC /VERIFYONLY
  If it indicates problems you can use SFC to restore your protected system files: SFC/scannow

  If you have full faith in the Microsoft System File Checker, you can ignore the /VERIFYFILES and just do the second command, because it will check the files and automatically restore any file that has been damaged or replaced.  I saw no reason to be wary of SFC, but I would like to know what's going to happen before it happens.

• Takes are silent when copied and pasted into the new track

  After recording several takes of a vocal part and a model gliding around how I like it, I decided to dub the voices and use another part of the (unused) takes.

  I created a new title in doubles (CMD - D) and pasted the vocal track (including), but the new double track is silent.  I can see the track and everything going out there and tried to remove plugins, copy and paste in different ways, but the track and just stay silent.  I can see them all here in the new track, and all that I can see, they should be heard.

  I tried this search anywhere online and cannot find any mention of this problem anywhere.  Is this just a bug?  I forgot something?

  What version of logic you use.
