  Hi all! I'm new to Muse and I love it! I created several "slideshows" using a slideshow widget. I started with the model miniature, but then realized that I had too many photos to use thumbnails. So, I removed the thumbnails and am just using the arrows for people to move through the images. I make different images each month. I want to just copy and paste the widget I put in place. But... without the thumbnails, I can't understand an easy way to get rid of the old pictures once I have put the new. How can I do this? Thank you!

  At the top right of your slide show you finde a little arrow that opens a menu of configuration. You will find the option "thumbnails."

  I thought that updates this year for the first includes the smart idea of using headlines in the same way as FCP, copy and paste creates a new title so that when you change the content that will not affect the original title.

  When I change one it is affected other so I just copy and paste and it again using the same active title.

  I tried to do a series of queries to find my answer, but I think that my knowledge of the names of functions is not good enough to create the correct search.

  I'm in a band & use first mainly to edit our videos together for our YouTube channel. At the end of each video, we have a "bumper" of sorts that has tiles of recent videos. Is it possible that I can copy and paste the Group of changes/clips/transitions through different first projects?

  I know that I can create a static bumper and import this video file. The problem here is that the content will remain the same in the bumper of each video. I want to copy the animations and text that I created that says "Watch our last concert" "shows our last cover song" etc. Videos that highlight these animations change as the weeks pass.

  If I understand correctly, this could be accomplished with nesting.

  Add each 'recent' clip to its own sequence.  Nest sequences in a 'bumper' sequence, then change them as if they were clips.  Finally, nest the "bumpers" sequence in a "weekly" in the end sequence.

  Configured this way, you can edit clips in the "recent" sequences, and these changes will be reflected everywhere where these sequences are nested.

• Takes are silent when copied and pasted into the new track

  After recording several takes of a vocal part and a model gliding around how I like it, I decided to dub the voices and use another part of the (unused) takes.

  I created a new title in doubles (CMD - D) and pasted the vocal track (including), but the new double track is silent.  I can see the track and everything going out there and tried to remove plugins, copy and paste in different ways, but the track and just stay silent.  I can see them all here in the new track, and all that I can see, they should be heard.

  I tried this search anywhere online and cannot find any mention of this problem anywhere.  Is this just a bug?  I forgot something?

• Is it possible to copy and paste one or more contacts in an email list (no address BOOK - an email LIST)?

  I have about a hundred lists to fill, each containing several dozen contacts. The only way I can see to fill an email list is to type (!) the names and addresses in the list. I need a way to copy and paste the entire contents of, say, an address book, in an email list.

  In Eudora, moreover, it has been easy. You could even mix the e-mail addresses, display names, nicknames and aliases in the list of e-mail. The ease and flexibility to create lists of e-mail addresses in Eudora seems tragically missing in Thunderbird.

  The contacts must exist in the address book that you create the mailing list.
  After that make sure that the directory pane is turned on and displays it in the address book window. If it does not, the menu bar, select pane display-in page-directory
  Click on the address book and contacts are displayed in the main window
  You should see the list of mail as address book subfolder. If this is not the case, click on the small pointer next to the book to expand the view.
  Now find and select the contact to the mail list and then drag and drop them on the back of the mailing list to add them to the list.

• Impossible to copy/paste or drag/drop of files. Cannot copy and paste text, either.

  The operating system would prohibit me files copy/paste and drag and drop files text copy and paste all of a sudden. No error message; the right operating system does not respond to my 'stick' and 'slide' actions; 'paste' is grayed out in the menu. ('Copy' seems to be black if I remember correctly).

  Need to reboot back to normal. A reboot about once a day because of this problem frequently.

  Strange effect here. I have a Vi that, if I try to create a new control - or copy and paste is a block of controls, the controls do not appear on the front panel - even if they are still on the block diagram.  It is a FPGA vi - but do not know if this is particularly FPGAS which is bad behave rather than the labview interface itself.  It seems that the problem may be an extreme version of the problem where the new controls are sent in the middle of nowhere on the front panel, so you copy on the block diagram - although in this case they don't seem to be anywhere - if you double-click it, and then you get taken to the empty boxes.

  Not sure if it's something to do with having a very long standing vi I was editing\adding\deleting stuff - so that somehow, he arrived at a State where he thinks the front is too full or something?  Someone at - he seen this before (and or have a solution to fix it).  It is really starting to annoy me - because as a general rule, it is best to test and develop FPGA on a separate VI stuff and then copy it to the main personality VI - but in this case, then, it kinda turns out to be a disaster.

  * I joined a project with a file in there that has reached this state of being off the coast of the façade - if someone wants to check the controls.  Basically, some controls are on the Panel before some are non-existent.   I had a quick glance at this and at the moment the only solution I have is to copy the schema to a new VI. Once in the new Vi controls can be copied in and behave as usual.

  Unfortunately the VI has become corrupted somehow. You work with this VI a network? This can often be a problem because things get corrupted in the communication network.

  Hello everyone

  I'm working on a big VI and difficulties to run on different screen resolutions. Too many controls, indicators, charts, etc. If I let Labview resize objects and sizes of fonts all gets messy. Because of this, I decided to create several files of VI, one for each screen resolution. Then the first VI to run detects the actual resolution of the screen and load the right VI of this form.

  Everything works like a charm, but when I need to update something in my code (put a new sub - VI to run, create a new case of event within the structure of the event, etc.), I have to do the SAME procedure several times to update all the screws with different screen resolutions.

  After long reflection I came to the solution to remove all Boolean values or flags the while loop, set the buttons like "Switch releasing" and restore the previous state of the button programmatically. Given that I have never (or almost never) update something on the front, I can make all the necessary changes in a single resolution VI and after finishing all I can just copy the while loop and paste in all screen resolution files. After that I just have to connect a wire (for groups of references) and I'm good to go. All screen resolutions files work identically.

  The problem: when I copy while loop and paste it into a new VI, all the events of structures of event (to handle the case) are not preserved. Then, I need to change the events that will handle each case in the structure of the event and repeat the same procedure for all screen resolutions files. Since is impossible to Labview allow to adjust items and size of fonts and distribution, I have to continue to use multiple files.

  If I solve the problem with events that are not preserved when I copy and paste the while loop, everything will be fine.

  My code is really very important, with several SubVIs and all that, but the attached files will show you the main idea of the problem I have. Open resolution 1(vi), copy all looped and paste it in resolution 2.vi. The main idea was just to connect a wire and I'd be ready to go, but events are not kept in the structure of the event.

  If I send you an email and then I want someone to send the same email, but with less content that what I sent you, cut and paste highlights the whole email and not just the portion I want to send to the other party. I have to use the delete button to make it work properly.  Below is the response from HP.

  At this point, I suggest to launch Internet Explorer and check to see if you are able to copy and paste the content of the emails.
