Copy iTunes library to new computer and NAS configuration as an iTunes server
Hello
My current setup is a macbook with an external hard drive to the iTunes library. I just bought a new Macbook Pro and am about to transfer my library from anywhere on my new computer. I have a very large iTunes library and I would like to be able to access it from my laptop, iPhone and iPad using Plex, Sonos or similar to primarily play music around my house. I won't have my Macbook Pro on all the time to play the music.
Rather than copy my iTunes through library to my new Macbook Pro, I intend to:
1 copy my current iTunes library to a NAS drive
2. set the destination folder to iTunes on my new MacBook Pro on the NAS drive
What is the correct procedure? Are there problems that? Does anyone have suggestions better?
Drag the iTunes folder everything from the old computer to the NAS. Launch iTunes on the new computer while holding down the option/alt key and when prompted choose the iTunes Library.itl file in the iTunes on the NAS folder.
The NAS must be on and wake up before from iTunes or the computer will forget the location of the library file and you use the option + method again.
Some like the idea of a SIN to do what you want to do but iTunes and NAS don't do not always play very well together. Make sure that you keep good backups against the day you post here saying that your iTunes library everything is a mess and you try to play a track and something completely different once. or etc, etc.
I don't know about all of these interfaces you mention. If you are hosting the music to an iPhone an iPhone can not read directly a NAS and you must have iTunes running to serve the media.

Got a new computer and can not copy the catalog on my USB key.
I have a new Dell laptop and have downloaded Lightroom to my new computer. I tried my backup from my old computer catalog and he said: "the process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file. I already tried to delete the lrcat.lock file as Adobe said to do and it did not work. I have no idea what to do! Help, please!
Close LR. Open Windows Explorer (Windows File Manager), or on the link for computer workstation work, Documents, or any other link that will open the Windows File Manager.
Copy the LR catalog file which is normally located in a subfolder of your user account on the USB drive. Then copy it to your new computer, place it in the same WAY as it comes. You must also copy all your image files or if they are all on a disk external drive connect this external drive to your new computer. If all your images are on your internal drive and then when you copy them on they must also reside in the same WAY that they were on your old computer.

I bought CS3 and LR2 nine from an apple store. I just moved to a new computer and it does not allow me to copy to my new without a product key. I started a conversation and they told me that I was out of money. $700.00 CS3 and LR $199.00. It seems of course after spending a lot of money with Adobe that it would be an easier way to take care of your customer than to spend another $900
Help!
Adobe programs should be installed, they can be copied from one place to the other. If you do not have the serial numbers for these products, then you're probably out of luck to run again on any new installation. If you have the discs, then the serial number is usually on the disc cover.
If you purchase these items in an Apple store, they are not new... they are quite old.
I doubt that they say anything about you being the money you spent, more likely, they say they provide is no longer support for older products and you conclude are you the money you've spent - this isn't something rare to hear - it is unfortunate, but are not uncommon.

My motherboard went bad on my old computer, but the hard drive was OK. I bought a new computer and plugged my old hard drive to it via a usb adapter. I would like to import or copy my favorites from the old hard drive to my new, but I can't find where they are. I was unable to determine the search for articles on the web. Be advised that my old hard drive is basically nothing more than a place of storage for files at this point. My old operating system is windows XP, and my new system is Windows Home Premium.

I got a new computer and connected and this is I am using a trial period not my subscription how to fix this?
Are you using the right Adobe ID to connect? (use the ID with which you have subscribed for cloud creative)
Post a screenshot of the guest of the trial as well. If you use the right Adobe Id,
Please follow the steps below: -.
Move the Opm.db file to the desktop.
- Out of cloud creative app and close all Adobe programs.
- On Windows, delete the opm.db file located here: C:\Users\
\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE - On Mac, delete the opm.db file located here:
\Library\Application Support\Adobe\OOBE - Restart your computer

How do I transfer my files to the new computer and they work without starting from scratch.

Looks like you're here next to site definitions (which are not part of your site from the old machine folders).
On the new computer, go to Site > new Site
In local news, set the root folder space by navigating to the new location of one of your sites. Give it a name under Remote Info, drop into your FTP info, then save it.

This must be one of the most common problems that people encounter. We receive all new computers every so often, and we all need to keep the old bookmarks when we get a new computer and install the new browser.
I feel that I must be among the small minority of people who do not know how to proceed. My old computer is not dead, she's just older (he uses XP). I kept around until I have all the data out. Any help in doing this would be greatly appreciated.
I am now using Windows 7.
There are several ways you can do this:
You can set up Firefox Sync for syncing between computers.
Edition-> Preferences-> Sync... OR Preferences-> Preferences-> Sync...
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/how-do-i-set-up-Firefox-sync
Advantages: Easy to use, once set up, keeps several devices synced
Cons: Harder to define, requires Internet access, keep track of "Firefox Sync Key."You can export/import favorites
Bookmarks-> show all bookmarks-> import and backup->...
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/export-Firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer
Benefits: Easier to transfer one time, can be done "offline".
Cons: Maintain multiple devices synchronized in this way can be time consuming and possibly confuse / boring -
OK, this is really weird, I'm building a new computer and everything it works, BUT I can not load most of the site of google and a bunch of other sites at random.

I already have turned off of proxies, cleared the cache, cookies, clear history, rebooted several times, tried in IE, tried in Safe Mode.
It is not my internet because I can load on my phone and fine sites old computer.
It gives me the error message "connection to the server was reset while the page is loading.
What is going on?!I thought about it.

I am setting up a new computer, and I want to install the Firefox browser. I'm on the Mozilla site and tried to download the Firefox browser several times. Each time, she appears as a stale version very long ago this browser. I uninstalled from my computer and tried again. I don't know what I'm doing since I use the same technique that I used to install each Chrome and every other download I have ever installed on my computer - NEVER hurt! What can I do?
