  What you want to do on your "new" MBP?

  I can't find paint for xp; I looked in start, all programs, accessories, and nothing!

  The paint program should be in the Windows folder system32 subfolder.

  You should be able to invoke it by...

  • Click Start
  • Click on run
  • Type mspaint and press enter

  If the shortcut is not there you can create one, the target must be %SystemRoot%\system32\mspaint.exe

  If the painting is not in the system32 folder you can get installed through Control Panel-Add or remove components Windows Add/Remove programs and then looking for "Details".... "(click the button) for"Accessories and utilities", then"Accessories ". For painting and the checkbox, click OK twice, and then click Next >.

  If the box is checked, you can try uncheck to uninstall and the reticking to install again. This should bring back the shortcut from the start too.

  If you search for items 14, go into products from Adobe, click on 'Buy' in front of the name of the product and use the drop down menus to specify Mac or Windows full version or upgrade.
