  Before we go too complicated, I'm starting to get a basic copy/paste using keyboard shortcuts to work. In theory, if I can copy a value of cells in another cell using keyboard shortcuts, I can use keyboard shortcuts, I need more complex scripts.

  With the help of someone in the developer forums, we found that even if I had the script editor in the Security section, he wasn't allowing me to call subroutines for some reason strikes any.

  That and I me using capital C in the strike order, it interprets as Shift-c.

• Copy the cell values if the criteria are met, without spaces

  I wish I had a kind of summary sheet which lists all values from another sheet if they match a condition. But I want them to put on the 'Summary' sheet without a bunch of empty spaces.

  I don't know if I'm somehow missed something, but in earlier versions of the Pages I could click and keep text in a cell in a table of Pages, the text would be "lifting" off the page and I could move it to another cell. I now use 5.6.2 Pages and the text does not move. When I click and hold, nothing happens, and when I try to move it's just active adjacent cells that spans my mouse.

  Any help is appreciated.

  I have Pages here on OS X 10.11.6 v5.6.2. I have a table in text format cell or automatic, I can select text in a cell, click and drag this text in another cell of arbitrary table.   Normally, make sure that you select the same array of cells in the source table and destination. If they don't match, geometrically, it may not work. This might happen, for example, if you have an overlap in one but not the other.

  If the arrays must have the same content for certain cells, in the future, consider having the cells from the clone table fill cells shared with cross-references in paragraph text, the main table. Then the main table changes, made the clone.

  What version you are, if it's 11 then you can try using lcm.
  It can be done with SQL queries, but it can be a bit messy, have a read of this [post | http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=3300400] it should help you if you want to go this route.

  Select a single cell.

  Set the desired format.

  Press option + command + C copy style

  Select all the cells to which you want to apply this format

  Press option-command-V to paste Style.

  Break the problem into small steps:

  Step 1. All separators (periods and asterisks) convert the asterisks.

  Formula in B2 (fill down)

  = SUBSTITUTE(A2,".","*")

  Step 2. Find the position of an asterisk in each cell.

  Formula in C2 (fill down)

  = FIND("*",B2)

  Step 3. Extract everything to the right of the asterisk.

  Formula in D2 (fill down)

  = RIGHT (B2, LEN (B2) −C2)

  Step 4. Convert the text to numbers re using the VALUE function.

  Formula in E2 (fill down)

  VALUE = (D2)

  This table has a header row and footer of the line, so the SUM in E9 apply to all cells in the body.

  = SUM (E)

I know that there must be sort of extremely easy to do, but how? The cells in the table all use the same paragraph style, and the table is in the block of text has a label.   Little tricky for me seems to say my script to find table on the page and selecting, because as soon as I can do, I guess I can just change the table to access all the data of the text.
