My Flash Player no longer works and I have to re - download many that he twice daily. What's wrong?
I checked to see if it is on and it is always. I deleted temporary files. When I try to download it, I always get a message that I do not have enough privileges to complete the download. Then when I check, it still works very well!
If you are in a corporate environment where you don't have administrator rights on the machine, you should have a chat with your friendly neighborhood computer guy; However, I'm guessing that this is not the case.
If it's your home machine and you are an administrator, this is a good indication that the file system is damaged. It is not really good news, I'm sorry.
Let's start first of all, if you have something important on the machine, now is a great time to save somewhere. Removable disk, web storage, no matter. When the file system starts to get wobbly, he could simply be badly timed power outage or something, or it could be a first indication that your hard drive is going to bite the dust soon. Having lost my fair share of readers, I recommend you to take the warning as a gift and make a backup. Of this is way less painful than the alternative.
Once your valuables are secure, and your seat is in position, locked and trained, will search for and fix something wrong with the file system.
Check your hard disk for errors - Windows 7:

At this point, take the nuclear option and manually purge every bit of Flash Player in the system.

My guess is that you will get to a stage that you can't achieve because you do not have the permissions to do so, even if you * have permission.
If it's deleting a file, usually a utility like Unlocker will repair it for you, at which point, you can delete the file and complete uninstallation. It was probably the damaged file. If you couldn't clean it as admin, our installers have not been able to touch either.
Unlocker - download reviews and free software - CNET Download.com
If it is a registry key, you have bigger problems. There are commercial third-party utilities that are supposed to do magic registry fixes, but Windows includes its own audit of the registry and repair tool which is already not fixing the issue. I'll leave to you to experiment with those if you want, or if you just want to do a complete reinstallation of the operating system and applications. Whatever it is, something's wrong with the underlying operating system. Personally, I tend to be skeptical about the utility of spare parts, and if it has been a few years, you will probably be surprised to see how fast the machine after doing a fresh install of the OS.
Hope that helps.

My Flash drive has started breaking last night. I did a check on the update page and he said flash was outdated, so I've updated. After restart of Firefox and recheck the plugin to update page he has always shown the flash player as obsolete. I tried the Reset card in dat file and it shows even as obsolete. Is there a problem with Flash 11.4 or I do something wrong?
You have two different versions of the version of Flash Plugin installed.
Installed Plug-ins
Google Update
Shockwave Flash 11.4 r402
Next Generation Java Plug-in 10.7.2 for Mozilla browsers
NPRuntime Script Plug-in Library for Java(TM) Deploy
Shockwave Flash 11.3 r300
Uninstall the old version.

my 8 GB USB key file name transcent is changed and have no extension, or it is not readable. How can I recover my files?
Hi valiyaveettiljayan,
- Did you the latest changes on the computer?
- What happens when you try to access the files on the flash drive?
- You receive an error message?
Method 1
I suggest that you look at the flash player for any malware or virus infection.

You can also use Microsoft Security databases to scan your computer

Method 2
If the previous step fails, and then connect the drive to any other computer and check if it works.

Is there a page of archive for downloads installers for Flash Player plugin for PORTABLE versions of web browsers like Firefox ESR?
One of my web browsers is Firefox ESR 10.0.7 and is a PORTABLE of Firefox version that apparently needs a different Flash Player plugin that the plugin Flash Player normal requiring regular versions of most web browsers.
I don't want to install the most recent PORTABLE Flash Player plugin version because I read about the problems with it and it is the only capable version this ESR Firefox will give me the opportunity to download and install when I try to install the plugin Flash Player necessary through the browser.
I already know about the page archive plugin Adobe Flash Player normal, below, the link, but who don't have the Flash Player plugins for MOBILE web browsers.
http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/archived-Flash-Player-versions.html
I also looked on OldApps.com and I couldn't find anything there.
Where can I download an older version, maybe one of the plugins Flash Player 11.2 to round April 2012, that will work with this version of PORTABLE Firefox ESR?
I tried this question in the forum of Mozilla Firefox Help, but no one could answer.
Thanks for any help,
digiday
I met the same problem with the version of portable Firefox, I've tried. I found myself ignoring the record (with the text file) that they have provided and created my own folder 'plugins' alongside firefox executable.
As to why I went with 10.3 11.4, it was mainly because we added in Flash Player 11.3 protected mode. While this might work (it didn't on my first attempt), it adds a layer of complexity that I didn't want to face. If you need some of the new features of 11.x, then you have to play with it to see if you can get this to work. One thing to try would be to modify the mms.cfg by disabling the protected-mode, however, I do not know if this file is accessible outside your windows\system32\macromed\flash folder.
You can find all versions of 10.3 here: where can I find direct downloads of Flash Player 10.3 for Windows or Macintosh?

Need to force the Flash Player installer to work even if it is out of date.
There are a lot of PC in our network of the firm has to Flash Player version 11.1, on which is installed. We tried to get version 18 for all these PC, when Adobe released another update and all of a sudden that we used to push the update installation program will no longer work. We must be able to choose a single installer and work with it until all users in our system are up-to-date - regardless of whether or not Adobe releases yet another player update in the meantime. Is it possible to force the installer to work even if it is not the ABSOLUTE latest version? Otherwise, our users will not be just a version behind - they will continue to keep DOZENS of versions behind. I know that Adobe wants to force us to use the latest version of player safety, but in such a case the result is actually less of security.
Any suggestions? Thanks for listening.
-Brandon
Hi brandonLancaster,
Rate of normal release of the flash player is both - per month, the second Tuesday of the month. Out-of-band releases occur when there are challenges of high-risk security bug, which we had recently. What seems to have happened, is that client machines have been updated to the latest version, while you try to put a version prior to these systems. We can check this by looking at the FlashInstall.log file on a client computer that returned this error. The FlashInstall.log file is located in the following location:
- 32-bit: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash
- 64-bit: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash AND C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
You can send the contents of the file in your response, or download it by following the instructions that the specified item was not found. and after the URL in the files downloaded in your response.
To avoid this scenario does not happen in the future, you disable the updates on the computers of your customers and then only deploy updates through your system of the EDSM. To do this, you will need to deploy a custom file mms.cg with updates disabled for client systems. The Flash Player Admin Guide examines various deployment strategies in Chapter 3. Chapter 4 discusses managers features related to security, privacy, the use of disk space and so on, and the AutoUdpates section is on page 31.
In addition, you can sign up to receive the Security Bulletin and the opinion here notice and Security Bulletins. When a bulletin/notice is posted you would receive an email notification and can then go download the latest version, when it is validated and remove what to your client computers.

Flash player no longer works after safari 10
Help! Flash Player no longer functions after the update Safari 10 22/09/16. His need for my childs home schooling... How can I fix? I reinstalled flash, rebooted, cleared on safari etc and it still does not work. All SWF downloads only instead of jumping in a reading window.
Thank you!
If you have installed the Adobe Flashplayer correctly and for the first time in Safari 10, you must activate it in the Safari preferences panel: Security: Internet Plug-ins: √ allow Plug-ins (plug-in settings...). In Control Panel, you will see a place to pick up Adobe Flash Player and a selection (when visiting other Web sites: on.) Then click done. Quit and then restart Safari.

downloaded file too big for the flash player movie
I downloaded a HD movie on my computer, but I want to put it on a Sandisk 32 GB flash drive. When I tried to drag it to the flash drive, it says that the file could not be copied because it was too big for the size of the volume. The site I downloaded the movie says something about the use of IGetter. I Igetter in my applications, but it does not open because it says it's a developer not identified. (This may be before Yosemite download.) Anyway, my question is, is it possible to download and save a movie on a flash drive?
You must clear the disc in one format other than FAT32 or to segment the file so that the files are smaller than 4 GB.

Problems with deployment of GPOs for the Flash player 10,2,159,1 msi
Hi all
I had problems getting 10,2,159,1 msi to deploy via GPO I did all the other versions until this one, which worked well.
When you add the MSI file to the existing GPO the following error on the server appers "no package in the installation of software in the Active Directory data does meet this criterion.
This adds the msi to the Group Policy object, but it will not install.
I tried runing the MSI manually but when installing, msi errors out and don't fail to install flash.
Server 2008r2 deployment machines XP SP3 and win 7 pro.
Deploy only IE active x file being used 'install_flash_player_10_active_x.msi '.
Anyone else having this problem?
Thank you very much
Richard
Sorry for the delay, it was ultimately a problem with our communication server not correctly when the Group Policy object creation took place.
Also, after the new version of Flash in this version, it's the previous version that caused this error.
You must run restart flash removal tool, run flash removal too new and then install the new version of flash by either EXE or MSI.

Warning box when you try to delete a file from the Flash Player
Music & Pictue files where it occurs. It seems that each file has a "desktop" - a file system file.
The warning in the box is"If you remove it, your computer or one of your programs may no longer work correctly. Are you sure you want to delete? »
What are the chances of that happening. Or how to remove these files at all?
Russ Alan
Thank you! So, I thought it was like that, but I didn't do it without precision!

Using window 7
I can not save file in the drive of the flesh
I can't edit a file existing in the drive of the flesh
Nothing to do with win7, assuming that your usb ports do not work.
You should not change the files stored on a USB key, flash drive is a temporary location and must be used to move files.
Not all flash drives are equal, some are allmost gave, perhaps your failed.

Before I updated Firefox I had no problem, can you help me

Flash Player no longer works in IE
OK, I'm asking you this on behalf of my sister, who knows virtually nothing about computers. I'll try to help. She's using IE9. Anyway, she has Windows 7 Home Premium. That's what she gave me when I asked him to search for system information:
- OS says version 6.1.7.601 service pack 1 and windows 7 Home premium
- another description of operating system is not available
Not sure if this is useful or not. She says she can not read games on Facebook (the zynga ones) and it keeps telling him she needs Flash Player. But it didn't apparently she let install it, or if this is the case, it still gives him this message saying that she needs. What can do to solve this problem?
So much worse now. My sister has set.

My system is Windows Vista, 32 Bit IE 7
I have a version of Java installed and the version of Java 6 Update 18.
Flash Player version 10.0.45.2 which was uninstalled, reinstalled, ugraded under "run as Administrator" and rebooted twice with no change.
These are the files in my C:\windows\system32\macromed folder:
Flash10e.ocx
FlashUtil10b
FlashUtil10e
install
uninstall_active x
I don't know anything about shockwave or where to locate it.
Any suggestions as to what I do then?
Hi Jesse, nice to see someone who has read the son :-) Appreciate the info.
The Shockwave Flash object... ActiveX control... Flash10e.ocx (vs 10.0.45.2) lies in manage them add-ons. Tools > manage add ons. It must be enabled. If another version is listed, I need to know that.
Your Flash Player files have an old file, the FlashUtil10b.exe. If you can do a right click on it and remove/delete, it would be the easiest way. The rest of the files are correct.
If you are unable to delete it, we can just do one offline uninstall and install with the stand alones that you run from your desktop.
What anti-virus/spyware program do you use and it contains a firewall? If you are using any firewall, 3rd party
other than the Windows Firewall? If you have a version # of a / v program that might be useful.
Thank you
