Cordova file Plugin error saving images

Hello

I have a problem with the plugin on my Blackberry PRIV and the new DTEK50 file.

When take us pictures through the camera of cordova plugin and save the image to the file system via the plugin file cordova that the folder is created and the image is in it and can be seen in the file on the device Explorer.

Then connect us the device via USB to a pc windows and move to the filetransfer-mode (MTP) and can see the file structure create us via the plugin file, but the images do not appear. Folders remain empty on the pc.

When we look in the same folder directly on the device, the photos are displayed.

When I go in the app on the device and see my pictures and I move to another destination, I can see the image in Windows Explorer also. So when I bring it back to its original folder, so I can still see in the original destination.

It seems that the pictures are not recognized until I started to move on the device itself.

Sorry for my bad English hope, you are able to understand.

Thanks in advance

Update:

I think I found the problem and it seems that I'm not the only one:

  • Cordova 3.5 file API error at first launch

    Hello

    I have an app WebWorks Cordova 3.5 running with the plugin file, and I compile and install the application for my Z10 using the BlackBerry WebWorks 10 SDK.

    When the application starts for the first time, the file API returns an error for reading and writing:

    {"type":"error","bubbles":false,"cancelBubble":false,"cancelable":false,"lengthComputable":false,"loaded":0,"total":0,"target":{"fileName":"","length":0,"localURL":"file:///accounts/1000/appdata//data/webviews/webfs/persistent/local__0/","position":0,"readyState":2,"result":null,"error":{"code":{"lengthComputable":true,"loaded":0,"total":26448,"returnValue":true,"timeStamp":1404689605867,"eventPhase":2,"target":{"readyState":2,"length":0,"onwrite":null,"onabort":null,"error":{"code":10},"onprogress":null,"position":0,"onwritestart":null},"defaultPrevented" :false,"srcElement":{"readyState":2,"length":0,"onwrite":null,"onabort":null,"error":{"code":10},"onprogress":null,"position":0,"onwritestart":null},"type":"error","cancelable":true,"currentTarget":{"readyState":2,"length":0,"onwrite":null,"onabort":null,"error":{"code":10},"onprogress":null,"position":0,"onwritestart":null},"bubbles":false,"cancelBubble":false}},"onwritestart":null,"onprogress":null,"onwrite":null,"onabort":null}}

    But if I restart the application and do the same thing, I was able to read/write the files successfully.

    I also tested the app in Cordoba on Android and the first mistakes of launch for the file read/write moved not.

    I wasn't sure if this is a bug specific to the API file 3.5 Cordova for BB10. Has anyone else have similar problems?

    This problem is fixed for the next version of the plugin file. Until then you can try to use the latest from git:

    cordova plugin rm org.apache.cordova.file
    cordova plugin add https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/cordova-plugin-file.git

    Hi and welcome to the Forums!

    Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Hello
    I have a HP laptop Compaq Presario R3000 running XP sp2.
    While trying to install software for my new HP laserjet printer 451color, I couldn't finish because my computer seems to have a problem with the file gdiplus.dll.  After a regsvr32 in the "Run" dialog box, I get the following message: "gdiplus.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.  This file cannot be saved. " This problem MAY occur in the past, while the installation of other software or printer, I don't remember, but I CAN get frustrated with it and simply ignored and passed without being able to use everything I tried to add. • Reviews for .dll file loading error when starting the laptop

    After removing an infection from malware Thinkpoint of my laptop and reconstituted at almost normal speed, a notice of a .dll file loading error appears while booting.  What are the options to eliminate that?

    This isn't a lot of information to go, but it's because forums MS Answers does not prompt for information, when a new question is asked.

    Thank you MS Answers, allowing the resolution of simple problems as frustrating and a lot of time as possible.

    Read this and see if it looks like your question and if it is not, let us know exactly what you see and we will always fix it:

    Here are the detailed instructions that protect you and solve your problem in the 'right' way.

    If you do not have a good explanation for the name of the file in a Google search, the chances are good that your system is currently or has been infected by malware.

    A "Cannot find...". ', ' Failed to start..., "Could not load..." ». "Might not work... "" Cannot run ""error loading... ". "or"specific module could not be found"message at startup is usually related to the malware that has been configured to run at startup, but the referenced file has been removed after a malware scan, leaving behind him a startup item or the registry entry pointing to a file that does not exist.
    It might be a removal of malicious software or an application not installed.  The entry may have a curious looking name since it was probably generated at random when the malware was installed. If you search your system for the referenced file, you may not find.
    Windows attempts to load this file but cannot locate because the file has been deleted for most probably during an analysis of the malware. However, an orphaned associate of remainders of startup parameter or registry entry and tells Windows to load the file when you start or connection.
    So you should delete the referenced entry Windows stop trying to load or run the file. It may or may not be included in the registry, but you can find it.  Autoruns (see below) you get the elements no matter where it is.

    You must be sure to solve the problem and not just fix the symptom of the problem by simply relieving your message - system is not a fix (there is a difference).

    If you just locate and uncheck the item in msconfig, which disables the element but does not remove the reference to the element of false starting your computer.   The msconfig program is not a Startup Manager, that's a troubleshooting tool.  Disabling things in msconfig to put an end to the messages and think that your problem is solved is short-sighted and leave behind him a sloppy XP configuration.  Just disable the display of a start-up error message should not count as a 'solution' to the problem.
    If you are comfortable editing the registry, you can find and remove the reference directly from there or remove it using a popular third-party tool called Autoruns.  The problem can always be found in the registry well.
    Before making any changes to your registry by hand or with third-party tools, don't forget to first make a backup of the registry. There is no cancellation or exit without saving the option in regedit.
    Here is a link to a popular registry backup tool:
    You can also use the Autoruns to find the element of start remains little matter where he's hiding.  Autoruns does not install anything on your computer.  It will display all startup locations where the reference may be then you can turn it off or remove it completely.  Here is the download link for Autoruns:
    Run Autoruns.exe and wait that he at the end of the filling of the list of entries.
    When the Autoruns is finished scanning your system, it will say "Ready" in the lower left corner.  Autoruns can be a little intimidating to first if you have never seen it before because it displays a lot of information
    .  You are really interested only a few sections.
    The problem is usually to start the system or the user startup entries, then click the connection tab and see if the startup item is there.
    Scroll through the list and look for a boot entry associated files in the error message.
    If you can't find on the connection tab, look in any tab.
    You can also click file, search to search for logon, or any tab for all or part of the name of the element.
    Right-click on the offending entry and choose Remove.  If you are not sure what it is, you can simply disable, restart and if the problem is resolved and then remove the offending entry.  If you don't see it in Autoruns, you may edit the registry and remove the item from your startup folder it.  Autoruns shall display the same information however.
    Given that your system has or has had an infection, follow up with this:
    Perform scans for malware, and then fix any problems:
    Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:
    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/
    They can be uninstalled later if you wish.

  • Restore files after restoring the image using Windows backup

    Running W7 pro 64-bit. Had the problems of virus/malware, finally restored my discs from image system, dated 2 weeks ago and then restore backup files dated Windows from yesterday.

    When I go to save / restore my files, the update does not list a backup happened 2/14, the date of the restored image. When I go to manage Windows backup disk space, and then select backup period to remove the last date is 3/1, when I did the last backup. The date & time system is running with a date of 3/2.

  • recover a file from a system image

    After an upgrade to W10 of W7, which proved to be unsatisfactory, I had reinstalled W7.  As part of this, I lost a file.

    I have a Windows Image backup that contains this file according to me, but understand that I can not restore individual files from the backup Image.  Is it possible to restore the Image of an external hard drive, and then copy the file lost to the Local C drive without overwriting other files?

    I have a Windows Image backup that contains this file according to me, but understand that I can not restore individual files from the backup Image.

    Your understanding is incorrect. You can recover an individual file from a backup image. Here's how it works:

    1. Use Windows Explorer to locate the .vhd (Virtual Hard Disk) file in the folder on your external drive \WindowsImageBackup. Note the .vhd extension.
    2. Launch Manager (diskmgmt.msc) disks.
    3. Click Action, and then attach the virtual hard disk.
    4. Use the Browse button to locate the file that you found in step 1 above, and then click OK.
    5. Note the new assigned Windows drive letter. It could be G:. If no drive letter is assigned, right click on the new drive and give it a drive letter.
    6. Use Windows Explorer to open the G: drive and recover your files.
    7. When you are finished, close Windows Explorer.
    8. Go back to the Disk Manager.
    9. Right click on the new drive on the left side of the Panel where it says "base" and "line".
      Click 'detach VHD.

    I highly recommend to use this incident as an incentive to implement a robust backup system. Do not backup of important files on a regular basis (e.g. weekly) on a external drive is risky. Not saving them before a major take extreme risks. A lot of people never save all files. They all change their attitude after a significant loss.

  • File system error (12)

    Hey guys. I hope that all is well!

    You have a pretty annoying problem on my current project. I use a SQLite database for the storage of telephone numbers, and these data are subsequently used to help the user to make a phone call. In the main application, these phone numbers are saved in the sqlite database. Later, when the user wants to make a phone call (IE a menu item, that I placed in the phone app), they select my menu item, which loads a popup asking what number to call. The numbers are loaded from the SQLite database to populate a list box and from there, the user can select and call this number.

    The problem is when the application is in the background when the user does this. If the application is closed, then the numbers are correctly loaded, but if the application is in the background there are some exceptions thrown, at the opening of the SQLite database, both during the access to the file for my custom log file system.

    Assistance to get to the heart of this problem would be greatly appreciated. I will surround some code below to give you a better idea of what is happening. Personally, I think it's a problem with the files already accessible by the main application, but I don't know a way to stop that without bringing all kneeling, as access still requires the main application.

    Code:

    public MyDatabase(String APP_NAME, String DATABASE_NAME)   {     String root = null;       Enumeration e = FileSystemRegistry.listRoots();       while (e.hasMoreElements())       {         root = (String)e.nextElement();           if (root.equalsIgnoreCase("sdcard/"))         {             MyLog.LogInfo("The Device has an SD Card inserted");          }     }                 // we now know that the SD card exists        path = "file:///SDCard/BlackBerry/" + APP_NAME + "/Database/" + DATABASE_NAME + ".db";        try       {

              myURI = URI.create(path);         FileConnection fileConnection =              (FileConnection)Connector.open(path);            if (!fileConnection.exists()) // create the file          {

                  d = DatabaseFactory.create(myURI);                createTables(d);//This creates the tables         }// if            else              d = DatabaseFactory.open(myURI); // [1]           staticDB = this; //[2]        }// try       catch (Exception ex)      {             staticDB = null;          MyLog.LogError("Database Creation error: " + ex.getMessage()); // [3]     }// catch }// Database

    [1]

    *THIS IS WHERE THE CRASH HAPPENS* we get a file system error (12) here. Is the connection already open?

    [2]

    not called - an exception is thrown before we can do this, but this is used to create a static accessor

    [3]

    "file system error (12)"

    The static accessor:

    public static MyDatabase getCurrentDatabase()
        {
            if (staticDB == null)
            {
                new MyDatabase(appName, databaseName);
            }
            return staticDB;
        }// getCurrentDatabase

    It is being used by the app and also surely staticDB must not be null? But nevertheless, it is null, and a new database is 'created '.

    Yet once again, thanks in advance if you are indeed able to help me with this problem!

    Have solved this myself. Locked the solution below in case anyone ever has such a problem themselves:

     public void deactivate()
        {
            MyLog.LogInfo("Deactivated");
            try
            {
                MyDatabase.getCurrentDatabase();
                MyDatabase.closeDB();
            }
            catch (Exception e)
            {
                MyLog.LogError("Could not deactivate");
            }
        }

    This goes in the database closed and main Application class when lose us focus (i.e. when the application calls turn off). Here's the closeDB method:

     public static void closeDB()
        {
            try
            {
                staticDB.d.close();
                staticDB = null;
            }
            catch (DatabaseIOException e)
            {
                MyLog.LogError("Error closing DB " + e.toString());
            }
        }

    I have spent ages working through this without a solution, then posted here for help and worked the answer myself in an hour. Typical!

    Hope this helps everyone out in the future

  • Backup has encountered a problem during backup of the C:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop\music file. Error: (System does not find the specified path. (0 x 80070003))

    I had to uninstall iTunes a few months ago and successfully re-installed, but part of my music was missing.   At one point, following the instructions on a thread on the forums Apple or Microsoft, I saved my music library on the desktop. Since then, I do not have a library of music on the desktop file.  In my looooooong hours trying to fix things, I do not know if I deleted it or what.

    Now, I get the message:

    "Backup has encountered a problem during backup of the C:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop\music file. Error: (System does not find the specified path. (0 x 8007003)) "whenever I have backup my computer.

    SereneJulie

    Hi serene,

    Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

    As indicated by the error, this problem appears, when these files/libraries that are saved automatically are not present on your computer. I suggest you to follow the steps below and check, if it can help solve the problem.

    • Create missing files that are listed in the error message.
    • Exclude files from the files to backup in the backup settings and then include these files in their original location. To exclude folders in other communities and to include these files in the original location, follow these steps:
      1. In Control Panel, open backup and restore.
      2. In the section back up , click change settings.
      3. In the dialog box Configure the backup , click Next.
      4. In the dialog box that you want to save , click Let me choose, and then click Next.
      5. Expand data files, library, expand additional locations, and then click to clear the check boxes folder AppData, Contactsand Research .
      6. Expand computers, expand the element of your system drive (for example, expand Local disk (c)), expand users, , and then click to select the checkboxes AppData, Contactsand Research if they exist.
      7. Click Next, and then click Save settings and exit.
      8. Backup and restore, click back up now to perform a new backup. The backup operation must complete without errors.

    If the problem persists, I suggest you follow the steps in the following article for troubleshooting backup problems.

                doc.addChild(Node.ELEMENT, root);

                DataOutputStream outstream;

                outstream = fileconn.openDataOutputStream();
                KXmlSerializer serializer = new KXmlSerializer();
                serializer.setOutput(outstream, "UTF-8");
                doc.write(serializer);
                fileconn.close();

            } catch (Exception e) {
                Dialog.alert("Data could not be saved: " + e.getMessage());
            }

    }

    }

    You must close the stream of output as well as the connection of files.

    Note a minor - there is no reason to use a DataOutputStream instead of simply an OutputStream. Outstream-an OutputStream to change and change the call to fileconn.openOutputStream (); It will save a little bit of overhead.

    Hello Walter.

    The bug that you run is;

    https://Tools.Cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCus79160/?reffering_site=dumpcr

    I stumbled upon this problem in the past, the TAC will load the debugging plugin and just check a few blocks. Anika, a system launch is another fix but it is a longer process, if you open a TAC case don't forget to mention the bug above and they can try this work around first.

    I would like to know if you have any other questions or need help.

  • ASA 5520 Boot Error: Boot Image too large

    Hello

    I had 2 ASAs in an Active/Active configuration, but when I deleted the current config and passed back to the simple mode I get an error message at startup ' error: Boot Image too wide. " I've not seen any discussions or discussions on this matter. I am not sure, but I think the best way to solve this problem would be to take the configuration of starting of my still working ASA... send it to a tftp server and put it back on my ASA that will not start. If anyone has experience this problem or can give me a definitive answer regarding a possible solution please post a reply.

    Thank you

    Chris Bailey

    You can download the file from the following url. But you must log in using your ID EAC:

    http://www.Cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/ASA

    The two download asa and asdm.

    Once you've got the file asa, load everything first to your ASA. Restart, and then go to the CLI. Load the asdm by using this command:

    copy the flashftp://your-server-IP/pathtofile t: / asdm - 511.bin
