Cost of upgrading to Fusion 7 on the site of the United Kingdom is the same as the purchase of new copy

Hello

I noticed that the Fusion 7 upgrade on the UK site costs £49,94.

It's the same price as the purchase of a new copy that I see.

I thought the update price would be lower than the price again, or have I missed something?

Thanks, Paul

Ah, it's showing the price of upgrade correctly now - just hope that nobody upgraded early and paid the higher prices.

  • Reinstalling the software after replacing the drive, ability to access the sites via Firefox gradually shrunk so I can not possibly download a new copy of

Need to reinstall all the software for non-native Mac (OS 10.9.1) at a MacBookPro 2009 vintage, I had installed Firefox v. 27. As I tried to connect to the web links (which many were not problematic), I started gradually to meet the pages that would never load. Then I got a similar behavior with URL entered manually (only some; gradually more frequent). I had installed some standard modules of privacy, but I uninstalled then them. I tried to reset Firefox without result. I freshly reinstalled (or so I thought) nothing works. I tested the performance against the native Safari and initially had some problems but could access certain websites. At the point where I realized I should do a clean removal of Firefox, I was no longer able to access to any site of Mozilla in any way, except the Help menu on the installed copy and who wouldn't let me download a new copy of v.27. I was able to access a CNet Firefox download page, and he agreed than an interrupted download request but each test (5). I'm hoping to learn a way (may need to be drop the a v. 27 dmg, but hope not) to return to the operation.

I am also successfully to access the download sites. I think that it is now OK. Thanks a lot for the replies and suggestions. The firewall seems to have been it.

  • Upgrade to Windows 7 on the laptop brand new

I just bought a refurbished HP/entertainment (DV7 - 1243CL) laptop, Vista Home Premium, 4gigs ram, 360g hd, AMD Turion X 2 Dual - Core Mobile RM-72.  I got home and was on the net when I discovered that I was eligible for Windows 7 Upgrade.  My question is about the upgrade of Windows 7; If I update, I always will be all programs preloaded at the time where I update?  I didn't really set up anything that I can not reinstall because I'm waiting for the upgrade.  But I would like to have all the programs that came already on the laptop... like MediaSmart, etc.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you to each and every one.

    Hello

What is your budget?  You can get a Canon Rebel camera body series for between $600 and $800 in the United States.  It would be like T3i, T4i, etc...  Then you need lenses.

    Flowers and insects:

If you are serious about the close-up flowers and insects, you can get a macro lens for it.  Canon made a 50mm ($250.00) and a Macro 60 mm ($400.00) goal that is not terribly expensive.  You can also spend a lot of money and get one with objective Canon image stabilizer 100mm macro ($900.00) or even a 180mm macro ($ 1 400.00).  Shorter than 50 and 60 mm length lenses require you to be very close to the subject to fill the frame upwards, as in 3 or 6 inches in front of the lens, which is manageable for subjects like flowers who can't easily.  Longer lenses (100mm and 180mm) will allow you to stay at a greater distance, then you scare away the bugs.

If you want to save money and dip your toes in the hobby to try it first, you could buy extension tubes to put on a regular and lens would not be much additional cost (beyond the lens itself).

    Landscape, mountain landscape:

I couldn't tell what you are looking for here.  A lot of people wouldn't want to "zoom in" to get a view like that; Instead, they would receive a wide-angle so that they could take in the entire display.  You can, of course, do the opposite and buy a telephoto for 'zoom' and capture just a piece of the landscape at a distance.  Whether you are looking for?

  • Problems accessing the HP Recovery Manager after the installation of new copy of Windows 7.

I have the HP Pavilion dv6 (2043us) originally with Windows 7 Home Premium. A recent storm crossed in my area, which seems to me to be the cause of a corrupt hard drive file that prevented Windows startup. My extra fathers using copy of Windows 7 Ultimate (is a prominent IT guy for his company, he has a lot to lose) I decided to install it from that rather than using the HP Recovery Manager in order to save my files (Windows Startup Repair and system restore failed, and to restore the default factory was not desirable) as I mentioned it because of my desire to save my documents) I have installed on the same partition as the original windows, allowing files to be viewed in Windows.old.

However, after all that, I came to the will to restore the default settings. However, after you press (esc) and (f11) to access the Recovery Manager, it is bring up the Windows Startup logo and the login screen. Is it possible to access the Recovery Manager and restore the default settings? If so, how should I do this? As I said, I left all the original parts intact, so I do not think it is possible after some research, but I'm not sure how to start the process.

This method to get the active recovery partition was first introduced to me by Cheryl here on the site. It may or may not work.

Right-click on computer and click Manage > search in the list on the left, and then open disk management. You should see the recovery partition it. Click right and whether it is active and the next time that you start it up, it should boot into the recovery partition and restore back to the factory.

  • The purchase of new hosts

We are looking for information about the performance of the host using different types of RAID.

RAID 1 or RAID 5 substantially affects the performance of the host in the following conditions?

    • Home discs are used for the ESX operating system and the storage of ISO files for quick access from the vSphere client to install on virtual machines.
    • All virtual machines are stored on SAN storage and not locally on hosts.
    • All data are stored in raw mapped LUNS and not locally on hosts.
    • VirtualCenter is used.

The whole reason for this question revolves around having more hosting disk space available for the use of the ISO without performance impact storage.

Yes, we know the mirroring is "faster" than striping.  We just want to know if anyone has experience with how it affects the performance of the host.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions.

It is difficult to generalize.  This will depend on your application profile of IO, as well as your matrix of underlying disks.  Storage vendors have ways to get around any IO penalty incurred by the use of various flavors of RAID.  Your application will determine how many and what type of IO you do, which will require a certain basic performance of the disc to satisfactory performance for you.  The big question is how much IO looking to make?  You can take the matrix of underlying disks and figure out how much IO, you can get out your disk subsystem, and which may or may not be enough for what you want it to do.

Using vcenter won't make a difference or on the RAID type that you use.

The question you need to ask, is how muc I/O you wait, and then you can figure out if your underlying system can handle it or not.

    Hello

Yes, it will work. However I recommend to buy the disk to upgrade of the United Kingdom.

The Windows Vista DVD upgrade that you get in the United Kingdom is different from what they get in the United States.

  • Hello, I get upgraded my computer and change the card mother and new CPU.__Is it no problem to install my OS. and re-activation. ???

    Activation

If you have a retail version of XP, there will be no problem. A repair installation may or may not work. Of course you will be smart and save your data on an external first.

If you have a version of XP OEM, it is related to the original computer on which it is installed. Since replacing the motherboard and processor you effectively create a new computer, you must purchase a new copy of XP in this case.
