  in forms, if you disable or invisible something, its NAVIGABLE, INSERT_ALLOWED, UPDATE_ALLOWED properties were also defined as FALSE. So if you allow an element, you must set the other properties to True.

  I'm having a problem with URLS that are not links in my final *.pdf.

  After you create a large file of *.ai (~ 110 MB) in Adobe Illustrator, I save the *.eps file and then cross the *.eps Acrobat Distiller to create the final *.pdf. What could be wrong with *.ai (or *.eps) that does not allow the final product (*.pdf) preserve direct links?

  I am obliged to follow this workflow (*.ai to *.eps to *.pdf) in order to create the *.pdf final and, in the past I had no problem with the URL. I can't understand what changed and I would like to hear what are some of the problems that could occur. I don't want to have to manually attribute to the URL links in the final product.

• User final local connection to Windows prompt?

  I have a Win 2008 R2 guest in vsphere, and we have a user who needs to run a special statistical package (HLM). It does not work via a remote desktop connection. It runs only when you are logged in "locally" through the vsphere client. Is there something I can put in place to allow the final user this? If it's just a matter of the vsphere client configuration on his desk, I need to configure it so that it only sees this guest of windows with all of the other virtual machines.

  My apologies, I'm sure that it is documented, but we are in a time crunch, so I at least hope to get pointed in the right direction. Thank you.

  Yes it's that simple that to load client vSphere on office here - thanks to the use of the permissions, you will be able to limit access to only that single VM.

  I use LiveCycle ES3.  I would like to add, at the end of my form (independent, NOT on a web form), a button that allows the user to check their form for errors, and then display a list of errors and highlight areas with errors.  Finally, he must turn off highlight these fields when the errors have been corrected.

  Also, in the form, if the user makes selections, they must include an attachment with their form.  I want to make sure when they make selections that requires an attachment, a field is generated at the end of the form that lists all required attachments.  Is this possible?

  The button validate calls a Script called "controller" object If you look at the hierarchy of the form Variables example there are two Script objects: controller and validation. Script objects are used to maintain the reusable script functions.

  You have to re-create those for validation to work. If you right click on 'form1' (or whatever your node in the foreground is called in the hierarchy), you can select "insert a Script object. You will need to do it twice.

  In the hierarchy, there is then a node Variables with two Script objects. Name them even as the form of the sample and copy and paste the sample form scripts in them.

  I have almost finished a training module to a customer. In this module, we were asked to implement some unclassified knowledge check quizzes before the final graduate exam. Because Captivate 5 allows only 1 quiz per module, I created the verification of unclassified knowledge question slides using multiple choice answers related to their hotspots specified as a solution. The user selects a response and a timed response will allow the knowledge if they got the answer right or not and why. The problem is that users can select several answers on these slides because there is nothing to force the user to select only one answer. I saw a thread earlier to unique quiz from scratch and if someone could send me the link to find that would be great, but I was hoping there was a way to force a user to be able to choose one with the slides that I have already created. Thanks in advance...

  You have several boxes click on a slide, but user can choose only one? Create a tip action for each click box, who runs what you want to achieve with this click box and at the same time disables all the other click boxes, as simple as that. Or hide all the other boxes to click, which is reflected also by deactivation. I've explained this workflow in the blog post on the model of a script.

  I have wanto as having a value of a variable visible in the Inbox. Therefore, I need to use project-level variables.
  
  I would also like to use this variable in conditional tranistion, but the condition Editor allows only Instance variable level.
  
  I forgot something? Is there an easy way to use the project variable in conditional transitions?

  It's a bit more complicated than some points of articulation, because there is nothing in your raw data that tells you which column of output directly each condition belongs in. (in other words, for the results you requested, a 'C' could go to condition1 or condition2 and condition3: just by looking at the line with the 'C' we cannot tell who.) We do this by using the function ROW_NUMBER analytic, and, like a lot of things involving analytic functions, which requires a separate subquery.

• The HP Envy 17 laptop Quad t allows the base to extend HP xb3000 (docking station)?

  I got a HP Pavilion dv9000 for about 7 years and use it at home with the HP xb3000 expansion base that has USB connections as well as the Altec Lansing speakers like the laptop.  A connector on the base of extension plugs into the connector on the expansion of the Port 3 on the Pavilion dv9000 and it has always worked very well. It allows additional hard disks must be installed in the base of the expansion, but I have not used this option.

  I recently bought a HP Envy 17 quad t laptop with Beats Audio speakers.  It doesn't have a connector of the expansion Port 3, so I was wondering if there is any type of connector/adapter allowing the HP xb3000 expansion base be connected to and used with the HP Envy 17 T.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.  Thank you and have a great day!

  Envy has no expansion port so the base is useless in your case. A few other products that use the USB port would be useful.

  You can manage this with two select statement. Here's the logic

  Select * from table where 1 =: RADIO_PAGE_ITEM

  Union

  Select * from table where 2 =: RADIO_PAGE_ITEM and your condition

  Note: Your option 1 must return 1 so the first select statement will be executed in this case second statement can't and vice versa.

  The main character must be included in the paragraph style, even if it's a Word. If deleting empty lines turned on, these main characters are removed too.

  To add the main characters in a paragraph style, you can define a list numbered without numbers but with the main character and space or tab between.

• How to print a pdf file of departures of larger than my connected printer Illustrator allows?

  I use Illustrator CS6 and save a PDF of separations of colors for my screen printer. Unfortunately, my design is 10 x 10 "and the only options I had were printed"Postscript File"or my HP Deskjet printer (which goes up to 8.5" width).

  With selected "file Postscript" and a "Custom" paper size it still I cannot increase the size of 10 ". Not there at - it no Adobe pdf printer driver that allows this? I must be missing something simple. Help, please. Using 'Save as pdf' does not seem to allow separation.

  I ended up looking for the Adobe acrobat distiller 9 ppd and adding that manually to/Library/Printers/PPDs/happy/Resources

  Which then allowed me to print color separations in a PDF at any size.

  Yes to 1 and 2. In order to send a completed form should also allow registration, since it must take into account the amendments and attach the file to an e-mail. Note to enable recording with player prior to version 11 of the document must be enabled for the drive. Acrobat Pro 11, you would do this by selecting: file > save as > Reader Extended PDF > activate additional features

  but I think the exact menu item is different in Acrobat Standard.
