  Hello

  I created a region conditional interactive report that appears when the button is clicked.

  Initially, in the State of the interactive area, I chose request = Expression1 and expression I gave the name of button, it didn't work.

  Then I had an idea of community to set a branch on the same page by setting the request for the name of the button when the button is clicked.

  The report is displayed conditionally the click of the button, but when try to download the report by clicking on download when the region itself is removed from the action menu.

  A solution would be to order the column names in alphabetical order. You can create a dynamic JavaScript action to manage the sort.

  The shuttle of the attribute IR "Select columns" have the ID "apexir_SHUTTLE_LEFT" or hidden columns and 'apexir_SHUTTLE_RIGHT' to the displayed columns.

  The function that you create might look like:

  You need to find the right timing for dynamic action to run, I suppose the click on the button "Select columns" would do the trick.

• paging on interactive report - how to move on my layout

  well, I work with the basic interactive report, no settings. My final user does not seem to worry much horizontal scrolling, although it goes against my standards of web dev personal to do without important need. But with the models as they are, the paging for Recordset next/previous is WAAAY more to the right. I find it annoying, and in the interest of my user, I want to left-align it. I looked on Google, did a search in this forum and checked the docs of the APEX, not much leaping out of me. I think I can change a div on some model class, not having is not an easy, concluding that period.
  
  useful thoughts on this? TYIA and points for an idea of work.

  Combine the predicates in the CASE expression by using an AND condition:

  Hardcode a condition like the :app_user = 'Mencis' is likely to prove problematic for all sorts of reasons, not least including the value of APP_USER is uppercase by default, unless otherwise during authentication.

  Note that the semicolon and extra double quotes in Edit are not valid.

  The sql seems to be ok, because the report was accepted, but by selecting the new column and save the report back for always (2 min)

  Now, the report takes more than 2 minutes to run and I still need to add more conditions.

  Well either force them to filter everything first or actually withdraw the appeal prepare_url of your sql. Can you not just use the link of apex column feature? All your links seem to differ in is in the display text for the anchor and not the actual url. If your link is perhaps not as accurate, but at least going to session state protection and be fast and everything will be pretty standard. You could delete SSP of course, but who are better than a more generic link text? The call is of course to you.

• Interactive report - display negative sum in red

  I have an interactive report (IR) that generates multiple columns in the report. Infrared, (FORMAT > AGGREGATION) I added some of these columns. On columns that represent monetary values, I would like to see all the negative values in red.
  
  Using FIREBUG, I'm able to identify and inspect one of these values but cannot determine the best way to conditionally displays this value (when it is negative) in red.

  When I run the page, sum 'A value' column shows <33.25>on the red letters.

  If you change the number in S999G999G999G999G990D00 format there is no need to parse number of string in JavaScript.
  Please note that separator decimal must be dot (.)

• Where the conditional, or PL/SQL block as a source for an interactive report?

  I have this situation: my app's main screen displays a list of documents. For now, there must be a quick way to 'security' integrated, so that administrators can see all documents, but only other users can see what documents, they created (connection of the creator is stored in the table of documents). In the future we will use probably VPD to enforce certain rules, but for the moment we need a quick solution.
  
  So I stored administrators in a separate table. Now I want the interactive Act report on the homepage as follows:
  -If an admin is connected, it must have this query: select field 1, 2, 3 area in documents
  -For all other users: select the field 1, 2, area 3 documents where creator =: app_user
  
  Is this possible in a single interactive report? I could do two reports with different queries, and make conditional depending on who is connected, but this gives me two interactive reports to maintain. Is it possible to use a PL/SQL block as a source for the report? I tried, but I get a syntax error. Is it possible to do where proviso on somehow?

  I have a users table with standard information, including a user_id column which is what is used by my access control page to connect. I have a screen of user management with an interactive report I want everyone to see all users, but I want only the link modify to display the line that represents the user who is logged on. I know there is a conditional parameter on the link change, and I tried to develop in exp1 = exp2, with & APP_USER. exp1 and exp2 user_id, but who do not seem to work. Any other ideas, or I'm doing something wrong with the way I tried to make it work?

  It really bothers me, this forum has a problem with the code examples, so for a while at least I posted quick example on Google:

  Not to complicate too much, but if you want without empty column except a line, you could of course apply this trick to the column that contains actually the user name in your table... in other words, the user can right click on their name to go to the Edit screen, but any other name user, but they would not be a hyperlink. But it is as they say an exercise for the reader :)

  It is not a supported way to change the display interactive report mode.  With the device connected by Anthony internally, we will consider adding this because part of apex_ir or a link to the future.

  I have a table which have multiple values in a column, separated by semicolons, for example: "Architecture: Application: Software»

  I have an interactive report that displays data, and by default it displays exactly as above: "Architecture: Application: Software»

  I can get it to wrap so that it fits in narrow width, I put to this column of the report, but I can't seem to break properly - it just treats it as a value and stops at the width of the column in the report.

  If I get: "Architecture: app

  cation: Software'

  What I would like to get is three words, one on each line.  Is there a way to do this?

  Ideally, I would like to replace it with a supply for each settler line - but only in the report.  I'm not actually change the data in the table.
