  This is an expected behavior, when you place an image in InDesign, then it displays a preview of the image but you has no impact of the exit, unless the image is of low resolution itself.

  In order to have the correct resolution of images, you can switch to view > display performance > high quality.

  Seems that you can call to the properties of an imported file may include the ClippingPathSetting preferences. It is the object of great CS5 Jongware model.

  

• First Pro CC crashes when you use jpg images in the timeline. Any help?

  My CC PP (on Mac) crashes when you use jpg (large) images in an HD timeline. PP gives me this way in an error message: [/ sirreact64/releases/2013.03/shared/adobe/MediaCore/Backend/Make/Mac/... /.. / Src/video/Vid eoPreviewCache.cpp - 75]

  But it's not the worst. This accident of the project folder destrys and I can't open it again, so all the work is lost. Also backup files will not open. Someone knows how to fix this?

  I would also advise people to resize pictures and graphs to not more than twice the size of the frame they have for their sequence settings be on the right side and for better performance. Bigger than that you are having problems.

• InDesign CC - no import option when you place the image or text?

  Just went to place a word doc and I noticed most were import options. Even for images too.

  Hold the SHIFT key when you select your file to be imported.

• When you place the images taken from video, I am unable to get audio to place.

• Muse crashes when you place the .aom file

  I'm trying to place a .aom file create in Edge animate my muse site. When I try to do, nothing happens - I see not the small thumbnail and basically, everything freezes. I'm unable to close the project and have to force quit to get out of the Muse. What is happening with my .aom files only. I tested with others who work very well.

  I'm having a real problem by placing a Word document in InDesign CS4. It crashes everytime! I found that if I turn off the 'import inline graphics' it correctly places the document. but enabling this option blocks InDesign.

  I tried to save in rich TEXT format and even do a simple copy - paste, but the result is the same: InDesign crashes.

• PS CS4 on Vista x 64 crashes when you open the image...

  I checked the forums and can't find anything quite like this...

  I just installed (and updated) PS CS4 on Vista x 64 - PS system opens and seems to work fine until I open an image (a picture) - the image appears but remains unclear and the program hangs and must be completed... this happens with the 32-bit and 64-bit versions. I tried turning off / on GPU acceleraton - ive tried changing the settings in the nvidia Control Panel - nothing seems to work... the workstation has two screens with double dated Quadro FX 3400 (not SLI) maps with the latest nvidia drivers and they seem to work just fine for everything else... it's a... short puzzle to try different GPU (which I did not) What can we do?  any suggestions would be welcome.

  Make sure you have the 11.0.1 patch for Photoshop installed, during the deactivation/activation of drawing OpenGL ensure that you restart Photoshop and try this: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4056

• Difference between CS3 and CS4 when you place images, unguarded percentage

  There is something of a difference between CS3 and CS4 when you place images. The images I'm dealing with right now were vector images, but it could apply to all sorts of images.

  When you replace an existing image, the behavior of CS4 is to leave the image full frame. In CS3, the percentage was set at 100% as default (% see you when selecting the image, not the container).

  Also when you replace an impage in CS4, the 'internal' picture frame is maintained, while in the C3, the percentage was limited.

  Y at - it sort of investment preferences / settings leave CS4 same wat like CS3 did, when you place an image?

  If reliinking keeps the scale or dimensions is now a part of preference in CS4, if that helps.

  You can play with this setting and do a few manual rebinding to see if something is appropriate. I'm not a script, but I think you can reset this preference as part of a script.

• Crashes when you save the eps file

  Don't know how to solve this problem. Saw the comments on changing the time zone, but I can't seem to find where to change this setting (within AI? or are they referring to my computer settings?) Have also tried to install the new Adobe CC 2014, but even that one goes down. Also, I rebooted the computer, but it's always the same problem.

  Try to "Place" instead of "Import".psd files  When you place the images, you have the possibility to link the files and then again when you save as > EPS.  You have probably inadvertently incorporated the .psd files.  The right method of importing image files using the file > place command.

  Yes, you can upgrade to the last 16.1 pilots and who should work well however, you should have 1 GB VRAM or more to take advantage of the GPU processors.
