  Microsoft did not change this, Chrome has done. Compressed files shouldn't be there, but you have lost the regular folder option. It is an update of Chrome, (mid), is responsible. Here are two patches.

I tried to import a folder and pictures and files that my computer had created, but had not created a lightroom folder in the pictures folder under my user profile that hers is appeared in my folder of creative cloud had done. I then tried to send photos from various sources (e.g. directily to camera, sim card, folder, to the download folder, etc.) and the photos were not yet able to import.   So I just installed Firefox on my new laptop, and whenever I download something, Firefox creates a "Desktop" folder on the desktop and download of the sticks in there. I used to be able to download directly on the desktop, but with this version, I can't. I tried tools > Options > save files to, but whenever I have click on the Browse button and select the location of my desired download (office under the "Favorites" section), Firefox ignores and sets the path as C:\Users\User1\Desktop\Desktop. Is it possible to fix this? It is extremely irritating.

  3. Downloads, click on the Browse button and select the new downloads folder that you just created.

  Firefox wants a "folder name" for downloads, by specifying the 'bureau' only or won't 'Favorites '.
