  It is in fact an enhancement request that I post here because I found no option in the web site for the enhancement requests.

  In Lightroom, I would like to have a way to export or publish a Lightroom folder with subfolders to a hard drive for export or publishing retains the same folder structure, including file names and subfolder. My idea is to create a JPG of all my raw files edited in another drive outside of Lightroom. If I move images autour, change file names, or do further editing in any image, I'd like it to appear on the external copy. Theoretically, I should be able to publish my albums directory and all subdirectories of my would be automatically included and copied to the external hard drive.

  Lightroom has currently a way to publish on a hard drive, but it is a feature of dish (of level) publication, for the moment.

  Workaround for this bug is to choose "see the import dialog box before importing."  Please add your vote and the details of your question about this in the Adobe official feedback forum: synchronize Lightroom CC 2015.2 record any new images see the import dialog box is active. Although Adobe says that it is 'in progress', this does not mean that it will be necessarily fixed in the next version.  Add your vote and the details make more likely Adobe will give priority to a solution, and it will keep you informed of updates to the question.

  The thing is with recursion, we didn't need to worry about any level other than the 'current' hierarchy and then make the recursive call at the right time.  The Act of recursing automatically sorts the rest.

  A trap I saw people stuck at bottom tried something recursive, is that they try to organize all of the "final result" in their head (like cross sub-activity sub-sub-sub-directories), considering that it is simply useless.  Always focus on achieving a level of this right and then call the function itself again for the next level of the process.  All the nesting is managed / handled automatically by recursion.  I guess the trick is to be able to be clear in his mind what needs to be passed to the function - of any arbitrary point - to be fully able to deal with only one level and how to take this info and treat it so as to obtain the data required for the next level.

  I guess, this requirement, pass in the base file system directory, as well as the base dir of FTP.  Recursive subsequent dirs "base" can be arranged simply by adding a subdirectory on the current directories and passing the result in the recursive function call.

  To save the need to use recursion, can use recursive integrated functionality of the tag, then by a flat iteration on this recordset, using the paths of each record to invent the FTP subdirectory.  Then create the remote directory (if the current recordings is a dir) or FTPing the file (if it is a file).

  Not really the one-fell-swoop ALEXANDER is promising, but probably is not so complicated (even though I was hesitant to suggest notions now).

  I wan't to know the reason for why we cannot create or rename a folder with the name "con" as the other folder names. But I know that we can create this type of file using cmd.

  CON is a reserved word and cannot normally be used as a folder name.  This also applies to: PRN, to THE, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, and LPT9.

  Hi, when you try to copy a folder with lots of subfolders, some files don't copy.  I get a message that the folder names are too long, and the only option is to ignore these files.  Anyone know the maximum folder (and also) name length that will copy windows 7?

  Windows 7 supports filename up to 260 characters. I would ask you to decrease the characters in the file name and then try to copy the files.
  
  Let us, run disk checking hard disk utility and then check.
  Here's how:
  1. open the computer by clicking the Start button, click computer.
  2. click on the drive you want to check, and then click Properties.
  3. click on the Tools tab and then, under check for errors, click Find now. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  To automatically repair problems with files and folders that the scan detects, select automatically fix file system errors. Otherwise, the disk check will be a problem, but not to fix them.
  To perform a thorough check, select search and attempt to recover bad sectors. This analysis tries to find and repair physical errors on the disk itself, and it may take much longer to complete.
  To check for errors file and the physical errors, select both automatically fix errors in file system and search for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.
  4. click on start.
   
   
  Depending on the size of your drive, it may take several minutes. For best results, do not use your computer for any other tasks while it checks errors.
   
  Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

• creating the folder with the series of photos

  I'm just getting into Lightroom, Aperture moving. When I download a map I have several subjects, several shoots. Is there a way to create a new folder and automatically have the photos highlighted that will become the contents of the folder move to the new folder? This is a great feature of the opening. Now, I create a folder, going back to imported pictures, showcasing pictures and dragging them. Making them automatically become part of the newly created folder would save a lot of time. Can't find it.

  It is completely controlled in the Panel to the right of the import dialog box. You specify that you want to import to a subfolder and name the subfolder. Then in the folder tree that appears, you choose the folder where you want as the created subfolder. It is well illustrated in the following video. It takes about 15 min, and what you want to see is towards the end. But it is worth watching the whole video. The video was created for Lightroom 5, but applies to other versions as well.

• How to create a fold with depth effect

  Hi all

  I'm fairly competent in Illustrator, and yet I have trouble understanding how this effect below has been created. On a sharp angle folds are easy to get my head round, but these is particularly delicate. In particular the area around the "bend" where you see the change of line width.

  I suspect a 3D application may be involved, but I am sure that this can be created in Illustrator only.

  Please help me to achieve this goal, no doubt, simple goal.

  I did only a very small amount of applescripting before and always slaughtered other scripts of resources available online but am having hard to identify ways to achieve this.

  I would like to use applescript to automate the creation of a simple folder NewFolder and newSubFolders structure in a destination that the user can choose and the number of subfolders (subCount), selected using the command prompt:

  The NewFolder will always be in a format of date backwards for example 160202 for 2 February 2016.

  The sub folder names end with 3 numeric characters, leading 0s to whole number less than 100:

  With all these responses need the user to select an image file and duplicated it or should that be copied to all of the subfolders created by this script.

  All I got so far is to create a script that creates the folder with subfolders structure, but does not work how do the names of the end of records with 3 numeric characters or find out how copy/duplicate a file for each subfolder created by the script.

  Although this still needs a lot of storage (including the addition of error checking) I managed to get working folders creating and copying a file to the set of folders.

  I'd appreciate it again any help in renaming with 000 leader after the _in, folder names.

• New symptom: newly created empty folder 'C:\history' after the startup of Windows 7.

  Lately, I find that an unwanted newly created empty folder "C:\history" after start up Windows 7 Ultimate on my computer.  Is this a symptom of a new invader?  I have no problem remove immediately after the start when checking my file to the root of the C drive.

  You can create a file named C:\History which would prevent the mystery application creates a folder with the same name and hopefully generate an error message.

  This command creates the file when it is run in a command prompt :
