  We use Oracle GL in our organisation in recent years.
  
  Our COST is composed of 6 Segments (i.e., Company--Organization--Area--Activity--Account--Product)
  
  Now users are asking change us some combinations for example account
  11-00-00-00-123456-0000 to 11-00-00-00-123456-1000 IE. We need to update all the posted and reviewed unposted with code combination of 11-00-00-00-123456-0000 to 11-00-00-00-123456-1000.
  
  Let me know if it is a common practice? We are allowed to make these updates without side effects?
  If we are allowed to be updated is there an API?

  If you do this from the backend (i.e. update of GL_JE_LINES and GL_BALANCES) it is completely not supported (for obvious reasons).

  If you want to do via the interface the mass of general ledger maintenance function will do it (Setup > others > maintenance of mass), or it will move the balances of one combination to another. It creates no magazines to do well so it depends on the requirement of the company whether if an audit trail is necessary for change.

  It's a fairly common practice - finance often want new cost centers, change his mind about the cost centers and move balances.   Create process Failed: Code 740 is an error which is caused by Windows being unable to load the permissions that your computer needs to function correctly.

• iCloud do not let us create new e-mail account

  Emails from my son of 2 years have been deleted and we contacted our provider which is extracting their server. The man said that he should take up to 24 hours.   What password? You can change a password for the account, but if you do not know the FileVault password, you are in a bind. You need to call Apple directly if you their sent an emergency password when configuring the FV.

  If you added via the preferences system/users and groups, it should appear as a long time that you have set the display of connection to appear.   I have a laptop HP Pavilion I've had for about a month. I was creating a HP recovery disk. As I didn't have the right amount of available disks, I cancelled it. The next time I went to do the same thing, there was a message in the HP support assistant saying that the recovery disk was no longer available.  So I created an image of the system in case I ever needed to recover my OS. It was stored on drive C. I copied and pasted into the recovery d drive [I don't know if you can do].

  Anyway, some things have changed after I created the image of the system. The C: disk OS folder has been renamed Windows C:.

  I felt a little uncomfortable about the whole, so I thought that I create another user account. Hoping that this would also restore my HP Recovery disk.

  In any case, I went to do this and all seems to be OK, install applications and so on, until he came to a blue screen that says "Please wait". He remained on the screen for about 2 hours, after which the battery was flat. I repowered it and he started upward. He returned the same screen. I took the battery and plugged a USB based recovery disk. This led me to the Welcome screen, and I could log into my original user account.

  I'm not game to try again to create another user account in case something terrible happens and it does not restart.

  What should I do?

  1. create another user account give back me my recovery drive originalHP?

  2 could have another go to make him a corruption on my hard drive?

  I don't know if it's an HP or a problem of Windows 8, so I posted both.

  Hi jcdck,

  I see that you have some problems with your recovery disk. Create a new user account won't get your recovery disk. The same file structure will be implemented regardless of the user account. You should not generally be copy or save anything on the recovery disk.

  You should be able to restore your PC to factory settings , but you need to back up personal files on an external drive or burn to a CD. It might not get your recovery back disc because this isn't the Windows function of HP.

  Your only other option is to order the recovery CD for your model. If you can provide me with your product number I should be able to get your link to order. Are which country you located?

  I'm curious as to which is better to use, tasks created in NiMax or tasks created in the code? If I acquire 8 analog channels, there is a downside to create tasks in NiMax speed? I know there is less code involved but what about the time it takes for labview read the configuration file that contains the tasks that are defined in NiMax? There is a significant advantage in the code?

  I'd go with the third Option (which is the one I use) - set the task in the project.  First of all, define the task in MAX, make sure it does what you want and you are happy with it.  Then go into project, New, DAQmx task, and once again, to register in the project.  Use one in the project, which "lives" with the project and not with MAX.  If you need to change a parameter at run time, it is a great time to get some code...

  If you have some kind of virus/malware, I would recommend running a full scan of your computer to get rid of it.  If necessary, you can use the Microsoft Safety Scanner, it's free:
