  I have this like we charge before procedure header, but I get the error

  ORA-20104: create_collection_from_query_b error: ORA-20104: create_collection_from_query ExecErr:ORA - 01008: not all variables

• Create the collection of photos used in a book

  I have a collection of close to 800 photos. Created a page of book layout using about 80 photos. I see the film in the book module, I see that some of them are marked with '1' to indicate that they are used in the book. So far so good. I would like to create a collection (or in some sort of filter) include only 80-or-so pictures used in the book. Is this possible in LR5?

  Found a way...

  -create a new collection and set it as the target

  -Open book

  -Click/Select each photo (one at a time)

  -Press b to add it to the target collection

  Must select each photo in the book, but it's pretty fast...

  Not tried, but guess something like

  I am producing a Blu - ray .img file, which I already did some time with no problems.  This time, compressor will be released the .ac3 et.264 files, but not the .img file needed.  I have tried both a FCPX 'Send to compressor' and "part in Master file" in ProRes as an interim step, nothing helps.  The project is 2h07m in length and compressor is the calculation of the transmission speed to fit on a single layer BD - R (25 GB) as it should (around 21 Mbit/s on average bitrate).  I use encoding in two passes and maxed out settings.  The original file has chapters.  Code assets out to 21 Go to the fichier.264 and 190 MB for the ac3 file, so everything should be fine.

  The compressor process takes about 7 hours to do and I'm at the third attempt, it's getting old!  I can do a test with a smaller file (to save time) with the same parameters and process, and it will work.

  Any idea?  The last FCPX and MacOS solve this?  I was hoping can project before upgrading the computer.

  Oh dear.  I went to the pane 'Complete' to see if an error could be found but there not, labor was listed as successful.  I tried the 'Reuse' button and restarted the process.  As the coded assets were still on my computer, compressor used as-is without having to restart the whole encoding process.  He proceeded to finish the job of Blu - ray in a few minutes, then displayed the appropriate, .img file which works fine, menu, chapters, and all.

  Of course, I am happy that the work to be done, but I'm not happy with Apple for such bugs.  I do not use Windows for some reason!

• Failed to create the collection.

  So, I bought this laptop about a week ago. Now, it says that I need to create a recovery disk. IM game, after all I must do that incase of questions.

  Now the problem is the following. I make records. Discs in DVD + R discs, that I bought at Walmart and whenever I've done, it seems to start the process of their manufacture and then just up and says he can't check the disk. So ive been through two drives because of this issue. I went and grabbed a record 32 GB and tried. It is not yet record when it comes to what actually, but sure as hell when he opens the folder. Overall, im wanting to know if there is not a way I can just have a recovery disc sent in my place like in the good old days. I know that we have advanced well and good, but sometimes the old way is awesome!

  How to order a set of recovery disks

  The problem you are having normally happens when people use less expensive DVD noname media, they can buy.

  Use only well known brands such as Verbatim. Unfortunately, TOLD the same thing with usb flash drives. Stick with well-known brands.  Only use the usb 2.0 ports, if necessary and make sure that the wireless is turned on.

  The usb 2.0 ports on the left side of your laptop are USB 3.0. Do not use those to create recovery media.

  Which blank media are you using (DVD - R, DVD + R,...)?
  Have you tried a few to use blank media from different manufacturers?
  Have you installed like Nero burning software?

• Creating a collection of a query at the Apex 4.2 is not complete the data in the collection.

  I have a process that creates a collection with data from several tables. The query returns multiple lines in the tab "Sql commands". The same query is used to create the collection 'Head before' and when I create a region with the source of the region as

  Select * from apex_collections where collection_name = "load_dashboard";

  At the time of the rendering of the page, shows me "no data found".

  Name of the collection must be uppercase. That's your problem.

• Error when trying to create a collection of Solr (java.io.IOException: the device is not ready)

  Hello, everyone.

  I am trying to create a .cfm document which delete and then re-create a specific collection of Solr, index and optimize it.

  The removal works perfectly.

  Unfortunately, creation it doesn't, at all.  I get the following message:

  Cannot create the collection publicsearch - an error occurred during the creation of the collection: java.io.IOException: the device is not ready.

  This is a server of Windows 7 under Apache and CFServer 9.0.1 (the version before Verity was cut).  I get no more detail than an error message.  Any idea what could be the cause?  I googled this and I see a lot of similar questions, but not quite what I have going on.

  So much worse... someone didn't bother to inform the proponent that the access to the collection AND the path to the directory that contains the collection for are different on this other server.

  You cannot change this collection. You must create a new. And you use no reserved words (for example, the "group") for the names.

  A collection is always associated session. There is no way to share it between sessions. To do this, you use a table.

• Synchronization of the Collections

  Can I synchronize a Collection or Collection set on 2 computers. For example, if I create Collections on my laptop while I'm traveling, can I transfer this work to my MacPro desktop when I go home, or do I have to re - create the Collections from scratch?
  

  Well, when do you an Export in the catalogue, the catalogue of clone and delete the other collection sets. But there is no way to isolate a collection.

  If you use smart Collections, you can right click on them and export their definitions individually. Save them on your desktop, send to your colleague and they would be right click in the area of Collections and import. This works best with them and two, but if you have a lot of dumb and smart collections, the export route is easier.

• When I start the Director I get "the collection of files its not valid or its corrupted. A new empty collections file has been created ".

  I've been using Director windows 2.6 on my operating system from vista for several months.   I just did the upgrade to windows 7 and now I get this message.

  "The collection file is not valid or its corrupted." A new empty collections file has been created "."

  Then, it closes the program.

  I had to rename a file called FFDshow.ax to another program called Muvee AutoProducer 6.1 works but I do not see how would the file collections of this program.

  Help, please.

• Create smart collections by using the import Smart Collection settings

  Anyone know if I can create smart collections by using Import Smart collection settings? Where can I find any information on this other than collections of photos? In particular, I am interested in what to do with the code.

  I think I got it. If you put the text below into a file extension .lrsmcol and call 01_Jan. You can do a right click any where on the Collection Panel, choose Import Smart Collection settings and it will create a collection called 201401 - Jan will all images published here this month. It is a simplified version of a smart collection for a workflow. If you have 12 files, one for each month, you can select in the dialog box, and it will create 12 collections.

  A minor warning, Text Edit on my Mac replaced the quotes with double quotes. LR would fail to import missing files of the quotes or double quotes (I guess malformed) with like this without raising any errors. I had to disable the quotes in Text Edit.
