Creating a 1px stroke loosed in illustrator CC?

Create a box in illustrator, and apply a line of 1px and 'save for web' as a jpg or png file.

Now, do the same thing in Photoshop. You get 2 totally different results. Illustrator seems to apply anti aliasing to the race making it thicker then the width of 1px, it should be.

Is there a work around for this?

What is any content in whole pixels, in the case of squares with the outer limits of the race?

You can use STROKE line up inside, or barred align to center you have the spine at half pixel values.

In the latter case, if your square is an odd number of pixels, you can set the center of the square to integer values in pixels (X and Y); and if your square is an even number of pixels, you can set the center of the square at half pixel values. Then your track will be contained within the whole pixels (inside and outside), and you can use anti aliasing without changing the appearance...

You can duplicate your original text block, put a coat of any color on the range of text you want and then create the contours of this copy. Now, the characters who are all developed in transparent traces will be in their correct positions and contours more will be your flagged - items you can delete the rest.

Here is a new set of instructions with pictures, based on mixtures, to appear as suggested in the post #13, only nicer and cleaner:

(1) create a circle of filling/nostroke with W = H = 2pt;

(2) copy 1) at a proper horizontal distance, then copy 10 below, then create mixes of each of them with object > mix > Options set to focus = align on the path and the specified steps = 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36, 39, 42, 45, 48 and 51, applied to each game to get all the mixes to be applied on the reverse;

(3) create a circle of vascular accident brain/nofill with W = H = 105pt and cut it to side Anchor Points, select the low center reference Point in the Transform palette and remove the bottom half;

(Copy 4) 3) and set W = 45pt, now you should have circles outside and inside;

(5) purpose > mix > blend Options, define the specified steps 9 and align the value Orientation on the track;

(6) object > blend > make, now you should have 11 a half circles.

(7) object > blend > expand, now you should have 11 independent semicircles.

((8) select each circle 7) with corresponding mix 2) and object > blend > change the meaning;

(9) object > decompose the appearance and Ctrl / Cmd + SHIFT + G to ungroup, now you just need to have all the points like individual trajectories;

(10) select the points to be repainting and repainting them.

With the numbers you use you get quite nice models of completely round points; the odd difference in number dot a half circle to the other will ensure that you switch between one and two points at the top.

With 1px STROKE wierdness shape layer

I'm puzzled as to why this is happening... I'm simply creating a new shape with the rectangle tool layer rounded (this happens with the rectangle tool as well) and apply a px line 1 towards the outside edge via the menu style layer. What is strange, is that I'm really 2 pixels on the edge. This also happens when I change the position of the race to be centered and inside.

but the zoom, you quickly start to see this px edge 2.
I tried this same action on another machine and I can recreate the same question, BUT I can also create a 1px line perfect on this machine, but not on my main computer. Everyone knows about this problem? Is this a bug or is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?

With the rounded rectangle tool selected, click on the menu bar drop-down options tool and select the snap to pixel option. What you see, is the anti-aliasing of the form that he sit not aligned to the pixel grid.

Opening files created in a newer version of Illustrator

I use illustrator CS version 11, is it possible to open the illustrator files saved and created in a newer version of Illustrator?

Could you please follow the steps that might help you below:
1. Create a stroke (any color) of the appropriate size for the form for which you wish to transparent race (although it will look like this, this is not exactly what you are doing to achieve this.)
2. Separate this race on its own layer by double clicking on the styles of the shape layer and selecting "Create layers." Skip the rest for now.
3. Now, it is on its own layer, Cmd-click form of the trait in the layers panel, which will choose the form.
4. Invert the selection now shift + Cmd + I or select > Inverse upstairs.
5. Select the layer below, which you will be masking the effect of STROKE separated layer.
6. Select 'Add a layer mask' at the bottom of the layers panel.
7. Erase the race effect layer.
8. To clean things up, if you want, merge this layer with the top layer and all the effects of separate layer to create a layer.

After that make me it "a million times" in Illustrator, it appeared there must be a better way (as it does not exist in PS). I would like to convert a radial gradient in a linear gradient "mirrored".

problem rotating rectangle (selection of corners) after you have created with the rectangle tool in illustrator

I use the latest version of the CC of the Illustrator. When I draw a rectangle by using the rectangle tool, I no longer seem to be able to select the corners to resize the rectangle or the cursor turns to a rotate icon when I put the mouse just outside the angle. Now I know that AI rectangles treated CC differently, with the direct rectangles and rounded corners options and the processing area opening automatically. What I was asking and hope is not the case, is if it's that costs that can go right and resize using just the mouse? I know that there is the "object > shape > Expand" option, but having to do whenever I have a rectangle is time consuming and adds and the extra step that was necessary before. I created a logo using Illustrator CS5 and must import it in a video sequence in Final Cut Pro 6. The logo has a transparent background. It seems that FCP 6 will import the files native .ai and .tiff files, but when I opened the 6 FCP, the alpha (transparent background) is no longer there; There is just the logo on a white background. I need to insert images of HAVE in Final Cut Pro and Motion quite frequently.

The best way I found to get a picture of IN Final Cut is:

1. Select / copy all objects in the doc to HAVE it.

2. create a new file with a transparent background in Photoshop and paste.

3 merge layers and make sure that the mode is RGB.

4 save out as one. PNG or. PSD.

5. drag the result in Final Cut (or movement).

6 resize and position the result to taste.

Attempt to export directly from... to PSD or. PNG is a wasted effort and the results are not even necessarily recognized by Final Cut.

Creating buttons in Indesign to imported Illustrator multilayer files.

I'm trying to create a digital portfolio. I want to create a button with 2 different States of an Illustrator file. When I try and import button, only the State of one is visible. What I am doing wrong?

It's very well, they are on 2 different layers in Illustrator, it can be done.

Probably my fault she explained is not clear, as I did from memory.

(1) import the Illustrator file as usual in Indesign.

2) convert it to a button as usual

(3) in Indesign, select the State you want in the button panel. Either be rollover or click

(5) then go file > Place

(7) a new window will appear. Select the layer tab and you can now change the layers are visible. Toggle visibility, then click ok

Ive designed a rounded rectangle with the value 1px line weight but when I Zoom I see its actually 2px for straight lines. IM assuming that it is a kind of antialialising, but I can't understand how to turn it off.
