  Hi all, I'm quite new in indesign, but have some experience with print layout after a little before using Pagemaker.

  I'm carrying a book and I have the manuscript all ready to go, but I need to make sure all my chapters are separate.

  Previously, when the design of a book in Pagemaker, I would be split chapters by autoflow and object text them, repeat - or I'd just have the autoflowed whole book throughout the entire document. It is likely that there is a better way to manage this same when I used Pagemaker, but I usually work within the constraints that force me to do what I can, but I digress. My problem is that when I was making even minor changes to the book he would really shake things later in the document (has the butterfly effect). So a small space on page 3 could push something to the wide path on page 253.

  What I want, and what would make sense for me, would be a method in which I can arrange chapters and all of their text and style in separate sections. If I change something in the document chapter, it would be automatically and correctly adjust the appropriate amount of space on the following chapters. So just finishing my book, I could just compile all my chapters and export them to the printer.

  TLDR: Someone tell me how to handle the chapters separately (including styles, right and space pages.)

  Save each chapter a separate InDesign file. Use file > New > book to create a book file and add the chapters of the book. You can synchronize (or sync) the styles and the nuances between the chapters. You can pages AutoNumber so that when Chapter 1 increases 1 page, all the chapters that follow start a page later. This can be difficult, especially when you add an odd number of pages, because the pages changing the same weird also change right left and lead to surprises. You can turn off automatic numbering or you can force chapters to start on odd or even pages, so that the addition of 1 page in Chapter 2 moves all the chapters that follow two pages.

  What card theme you are using?  And what version of iPhoto?  Your internet connection is working?

  In iPhoto 9.6.1, you can add a location in layout mode.  Zoom in on the map and ctrl - click the location on the map, and then select 'Add Place '.

  In mode 'Options', you should be able to press the button "+" and type a name for the place. The location search pictures by name. You can also ctrl - click on the map and add the location manually.

  What happens when you try to add a place? You get an error message?

  I tried to edit my book and worked three days to try to save the changes. Whenever I leave the LR program and come back, my changes will remain. The Adobe instructions say to save the book by clicking on the preview, then dialog box Create Book, then name the book and click on create. Whenever I do that I have a new name in the Panel on the left for photos with nothing in it. I'm frustrated... Please help. I don't know that I'm doing something stupid.

  Flash can read data from several sources (XML files, text files, on the web, on-site, etc.) and you can use these data to populate your address dynamically. He can do the same thing with the pictures and any other active flash can use (images, video, etc).

  Currently, there isn't a direct way to the cover of page one page in InDesign. You will need to "fake" it by filling the side left (first page) of the spread, the same color as the background of your web page.

  I'm new to Indesign. I managed to create page templates to create a photo book. Now I can drag / ' drop the photos to cells on each page.

  However I find it very difficult to see which photo I've already added to the document (we're talking hundreds of photos).  In other creation software, book, or even in Lightroom each photo is marked as "added" once it has been added to the book.

  What is your technique, tips, etc. to create a photo book in indesign?

  For wedding albums, I keep the bridge open and tag color images as I use them and keep the view only showing images w/o a color, so users 'disappear as I go.

  Does anyone know where could help me with a script that would just print or export to PDF by history of InDesing or failing - to make the individual files on the stories?

  I have a client who insists on taking my file pdf and breaking apart [manually] to regroup and to use by various other groups. The stories are data merge files generated from the CSV files and relate to grants. These grants have names, types of industries and regions. I can sort by region as each region has a different master page. And I can generate a table of contents-related that sorts by industry and by the name of grant. But he really wants to make the separate files for each grant and fill in different directories with individual pdf files.

  I need to be able to break up of my InDesign file to create a separate pdf file for each grant. Each concession is a story in my paper. Some grants have 2 pages while others have 4 - it would be very difficult to do manually. If I could get the separate files for each grant or print in history, everyone would be happy.

  So each of your donations is a story threaded permanently, and every new help start a new thread? If so, it was an interesting challenge. Here is a Javascript that exports each 'history' as a PDF of its own - it follows the nets but does not produce twice on the same page. (In case you son cross-moved autour story.) I tried to manage some possible pitfalls, such as "you don't have to export stuff master page" and it works on my test file meticulously built... but Please check if you have all your grants, whenever you use . I'd hate to see someone lose his cause of money from a script of mine.

• Incorrect language when creating photo books

  I use pictures 1.0.1 (215.65.0), on Yosemite 10.10.5.

  When I create a photo book, all the pages with the default text appear in latin/Croatian (according to google).  The language in the system preferences setting is set to English.

  Any suggestions?
