Creating a button 'save'

Hello

I know it's probably a very simple thing to do, but how, I create a button on a dynamic form that saves the document?

Thanks in advance.

You must use the syntax below to save the file...

app.execMenuItem ('Save'); (GOLD)

app.execMenuItem ("SaveAs");

Niall had assembled a very nice shape to make you understand all the different menu items.

    I know how to create a button 'SAVE', although is it possible to disable a user to be able to record via the menu.

  • Composer of the Oracle of the button Save.

    We have a webcenter application. We have created a few pages editable.

    Environment, when I Ctrl + Shift + E mode pages, I see "Save" button. This button is not available on a few other environments.

    Who has the button Save oblige the user to save changes before leaving to ctrl + shift + e mode. In the other environment user changes are being recorded immediately without him asking to save.

    What would be the difference?

    Hello.

    The Oracle Documentation:

    The "Save" button is provided in the toolbar of the composer only if the application is configured to use a sandbox. For more information on sandboxes, see section 21.2, "Using composer Sandbox."

    I hope it helps.

  • Issue size PDF after click on the button "Save as".

    Hello everyone, I have a pdf file that is about 180 KB.

    After clicking on a button "save under", that I created, a small calculation script is run and the file, after registration, jumps to 1, 2Mb.

    Any thoughts on how to avoid this? Javascript calculations are simple calculations (capital plus interest and a penalty).

    Thank you everyone for the help!

    This is usually caused by policies that have been added to your form fields.

  • How to create a button 'next' image

    Hi all.

    I'm new to Dreamweaver and have no idea of what I'm doing!  I am a designer and do not know the code.

    I managed to get that much: I have created a teamplate and use it successfully on the following pages.  My problem is I want to create a button 'next' out of the picture.

    A poster forum suggested taking page_1.html and page_2.html and insertion of a link between them. I get this, but to do this, it seems that I have to detach my individual pages of the template in order to edit them directly.  So I can somehow related to the model so that I can continue to make other changes on one page that will update all along?

    Any suggestions for a VERY green newbie who does not include copy and paste the code?  Is there a way to do this in Design view?

    Thank you

    UPDATE:

    Nancy and Jon - and future researchers with this question, I found the answers!

    Here goes:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------

    A SIMPLE NEXT/PREVIOUS BUTTON ON AN IMAGE IN DREAMWEAVER FOR THE DESIGNER OF RETARED-CODE:

    -Create a template that has buttons for NEXT/PREVIOUS. The buttons should be sliced a Photoshop file, or created using divs in Dreamweaver (see Tutvid.com for these tutorials - very good). Also, the buttons should be in their own separate Divs.

    -Select the individual Divs containing buttons (one at a time), not the images themselves.

    -Go to insert > template objects > editable region.

    -Give an editable region, the name of the NEXT and the other the name of the PREVIOUS editable region.

    -Save the template file.

    -Go to page_1.html and now these buttons are selectable.  Click NEXT and go to the properties panel and take the small icon of the whip which is right next to the link box. Drag and hold the icon selection on your files Panel and select page_2.html.  Do the same for each page.  Of page_2.html from, you also do for the BACK button, you select the page that comes before her, not the one after it.

    Alto!

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -----------

    I really hope this helps out all you code-challenged designers like me!  I've looked everywhere, and that's as simple as that.

    Thanks to you, Nancy, for twigging me by selecting the Div and not the image itself.

  • Inserting a button "save under".

    Hello

    I would like to include a button "save under" at the end of my form. Don't know what javascript is for this. I created the button, I'm in the Script Editor and that you have selected "postSave", not sure what's next...

    Thanks in advance for your answer.

    Jenn

    Yes... but the command is:

    app.execMenuItem ("SaveAs")

    and make sure you have set the JavaScript language (top right of the script editor).

  • Create a button to run

    Hello. I would like to know how can I create a button 'Run' on a Vi so that the operator should not go to the menu bar start Vi, if possible. Thank you

    Use a state machine and make sure that the VI is set to perform at the opening. Start in an idle state. A VI used by an end user should never be in editing mode or stopped.

    How to create a button in the button "print" below?

    I was actually thinking of doing it two separate buttons placed side by side. The "print" button, of course would be just updated the Boolean value, that is easy. But the drop down menu is a bit more difficult. I tell myself that I could customize a drop down, but because I was not able to play with it in LabVIEW (don't have it at home) I don't know if you can change the alignment of the drop-down box actually etc. The decline is down to the location of the box and look like something you can change in the control editor?

    I guess I could also use correct .net? But I'll try to keep it all with just control editing in LabVIEW if possible. Thank you.

    for (imstuck).

    I use a listbox multicolumn and toggle visibility is when the user clicks the button.  I've attached an example:

  • By pressing the button Save on file open Excel from an attachment Windows - done he does nothing?

    My son opened a spreadsheet Excel of an attachment in Windows Mail. He then worked for several hours on the worksheet by pressing the button 'Save' on a regular basis. At no time, he asked for a file name or location, so he assumed that he recorded in the Documents folder. When he had finished with the file, he pressed the "x" to exit. He has not asked if he wanted to save the spreadsheet and so assumed that it had been properly registered. A few hours later, he went to open it, it had worked but could not find anywhere on our hard drive. It will be able to locate a copy of this file anywhere, or it is lost forever? If so, why on Earth don't Excel (or Word etc I expect) not asking you to save the file that you are leaving?

    In the future, you will need to save the first attachment in a separate file, then open it and change it.  Outlook (part of the suite Office) will allow you to open attachments directly and work on it, and save without problems, but Windows Mail is not part of the office and you can do that without saving the file first.

    I know how to focus and unFocus. But I want to change the image of the button when it is selected and maiitien this second bitmap.

    It is possible to do in Blackberry?

    This demo of the sample can help you: try this in a separate file;

    public final class LoadingScreen extends MainScreen
    {
        private boolean isClicked=false;
        BitmapField facebook;
        Bitmap facebookBit=Bitmap.getBitmapResource("f.png"),facebookBitHover=Bitmap.getBitmapResource("f_h.png");
        public LoadingScreen()
        {
            isClicked=false;
            createGUI();
        }

        private void createGUI()
        {
            add(new LabelField("Click the Below Image",Field.FOCUSABLE));

            facebook=new BitmapField(facebookBit,Field.FOCUSABLE)
            {
                protected boolean navigationClick(int status, int time)
                {
                    if(isClicked)
                    {
                        isClicked=false;
                        facebook.setBitmap(facebookBit);
                    }
                    else
                    {
                        isClicked=true;

  • How to create a button icon / browse files

    Hi all, I have 2 questions I want to ask you:

    1. how to create a button icon using action script?

    I add this part of the code at the top of my file .as just below the keyword package:

    [Bindable]
    [Embed(source="/images/pause.png")]
    private var pauseIcon: Class;

    I then added, in the main function, copy the following code:
    var pauseButton:Button = new Button();
    pauseButton.setStyle ("icon", pauseIcon);

    The compiler problem with the "private var pauseIcon: Class; ' line and the new line of declaration of button.  I declare the type of button?

    2. how to browse files in the Simulator? I try to use browseForOpen, but it does not work.  It shows a blank dialog box saying no file meets my criteria.

    My code for browsing the files:

    var docFilter:FileFilter = new FileFilter ("Files", "*.") *") ;

    var myFile = File.applicationStorageDirectory;

    myFile.browseForOpen ("Open", [docFilter]);

    Thank you

    The embedded definition must be within the class as a normal attribute / member of this class.  You have outside the classroom.

    [SWF...

    SerializableAttribute public class Main extends Sprite

    {

    [Embed(source="/image/player_pause.png")] private var pauseIcon: Class;

    public void Main()

    {

    var btn: IconButton = new IconButton();

    btn.setIcon (new pauseIcon());

    this.addChild (btn);

    }

    }

  • After you have installed windows 10 button 'print' is now a button 'save' on my 5530 want printer

    After I installed windows 10, when I go to print something, the 'print' button is now a button 'save' on my printer HP Envy 5530. If I click on the ' save' button, the question I want to print go to my documents, and then I have to print it from there. How do I fry the 'save' button 'print', so I don't have to put everything that I want to print my documents to get the impression.

    Hello
    Google chrome opens the print dialog box, and then press the button change.
    Select your printer from the list instead of the default save as PDF option and try to print again.
