Creating a Contact form
Hi all
I got the code on the www.getbootstrap.com site to create a basic contact form below. But I noticed there is no built in Captcha. Is Captcha need because I go account when you don't have it, you get a lot of SPAM emails. If so how is this possible?

CAPTCHA is not strictly a necessity because many are difficult to read and generally more problems than what they are worth. However, you should consider including something like a simple arithmetic question/answer.
There is not "under the code" in your message.

Dreamweaver does not features side server so this isn't a matter of Dreamweaver. You might be best to ask your server provider questions specifically related to a feature that is or is not enabled on your server.

For the life of me I don't understand why anyone would go through the trouble of ringing these discussions just to get their best to not be useful. It seems to me that since Dreamweaver allows you to create/write/upload php pages and the whole purpose of Dreamweaver is to create websites, and 80% of web sites using php, looks like a discussion of php in this Dreamweaver forum is quite appropriate!
But that's just me.
To my personal goal of trying to be helpful, I want to update this topic:
The contact form is finally resolved. I made a contact form with the beautiful shape of Nancy O at: Alt-Web Design & Publishing: Contact form sensitive with 3.2 Bootstrap and PHP (part 1)
that has saved a lot of time, and I ended up hiring a developer at Fiverr (www.fiverr.com/abd_soft/write-fix-and-correct-your-php-script) which converted my existing script of SMTP mail. He also created a redirect page slick for me for my old contact.htm page who turned into a contact.php page. Of course, I've updated my site, but wanted the redirect in case there was some other links out there somewhere.
I would like to paste the php code to be more useful, but the coding Manager put a copyright on the script that I paid for!
If you try to install an authenticated SMTP contact form and you are not a developer, all I can say is GOOD LUCK. I hope that my post is a bit useful.

Make a flash animation which collects all the information you need from the user; Send this info to a script on the server side (php, asp, jsp, etc.) via XML or LoadVars object. have the script perform the database storage or sending the e-mail (or both) and then write a message to flash to read; have the flash animation to tell the user everything turned out ok, or if she did'mt just start all over again.

Error when you try to create the Contact form PSE13
I get two error messages when you try to create a contact sheet
"The operation could not be completed. The file or directory is not found. »

"Could not complete the command II Board contact because of a program error"
I'm on iMac OSX Yosemite 10.10.2
Updated for PSE12 when PSE13 is released
No problems with PSE12
If you go to
(user) Library\Preferences\Adobe\Plugins\Adobe Board Contact II PSE12\Elements
and remove the
Adobe Board Contact PSE12 Pref.
If all goes well, you should be able to use the plugin Contact Sheet II again.
To view your library, the user in the menu go to the Finder press the Option key, then you should see library listed in the menu to reach.

I created the contact form in Adobe Dreamweaver and try to find a way to make it work. I don't know php and thought about using one of these sites like jotform.com, but would really like to learn php (on my list of things to learn). In the meantime, I was hoping one of my useful Dreamweaver buddies could help me. Here is my code.

Change of destination for the Contact form email
Hi all
I configured my portfolio page and was delighted to learn that you could add a form of contact rather than having to reveal your email address in the world. It is just an issue.
The email address that I use for my Adobe ID is not my main job email, I use a secondary address. Whenever I created the contact form he began to send emails to my secondary address, when in fact, I want that they arrive in my Inbox from hauptwerk.
I changed my Adobe ID to my primary address to see if it works, but no joy. emails are always landing in the wrong Inbox.My question: is some way you can change your email address for portfolio Adobe so that submitted emails a contact form come in a different Inbox?

Hey Angus! You can change the e-mail address that you want to use by following these steps:
1. place the cursor on the contact form and click on the pencil icon that appears in the upper left corner
2. click on customize
3. then click on the Options tab of the form

Impossible to get my contact form to work in all browsers using Go Daddy gdform.php
I've created a Contact form in Dreamweaver CC15 (using GDFORM. PHP and also MAILFORMMAILER. PHP), both work perfectly if you use Internet Explorer or MS Edge, but not in any other browser. Any suggestions? I should mention that I am a novice re Dreamweaver/Web design.

Why didn't - it not matching my Contact form that sends to email?
I created a contact form in my adobe muse Web site.
Under the by email to: section I entered the email I want to received these contact forms
After uploading my site to the ftp host, I get a pop-up notification that says:Form Contact form join us is configured with a < Email address example 1 > email address.
Is not the name of the server < Email address example 2 >.
Some hosts refuse to send e-mail messages from email addresses on different hosts.
If your form sends email as expected, change in the first e-mail address
in your Muse in the form of an address (website URL), and then try again.I'm not sure how to use an email of my choice to receive these forms. Could someone help me with this problem?
Muse on publish will show this message, because some hosting providers set up their sender as it will only PHP send to an e-mail address on the same domain. Generally hosting server works with email different domain, but in the case where your hosting server restricted email to different domain then you need to work with your hosting company.

Hi, I need help creating an order form. I am creating a website for a company to "sandwich" where customers can place an order by selecting different buttons. Is it possible to create a page with buttons, which once pressed stores a value that is sent to an e-mail address after pressing a submit button.
Here is an example:
First page: two buttons - food | drink - select the food
Second page: two buttons - roll | value of wand wand - select wand - saved
Third page: several buttons - each a filling BLT - select BLT - various "sandwich" added at the end of 'wand' value
Suite page: button to click on 'order' - email send to the address containing "BLT baguette.
Is it possible to create with the Muse?
If not, would it be possible to create the contact form with radio buttons, but replace the buttons with images or graphic text (so they look like button)? All this would be on a single page.

There is no output from the solution of the box for this kind of form implemented in Muse. You can add checkbox fields to the form, however.

Contact form works on the host server, but not the Web Page
I created my first site with CS6. I decided to throw a contact form, so I went to my host providesr, Network Solutions, which has a Wizard for a contact form. I used the wizard to create a contact form. When I access the page on the Host Site for Network Solutions, the contact page is formatted with colors, I chose and it works correctly. Declined, I hit Submit, the message is sent to the approprate address.
I used the GET function to bring the new page of my local site and then synced it with the real Web site. The formatting, I've created on the server host does not appear, but the Contact form is on the Web site I created in all white. Fill the fields of the form, but when I click on the botton to SUBMIT, a dialog box appears saying it does not find the Web page.,.
Does anyone know what error I do?

Can not get the contact form to work
Hey DW'ers.
I have a (non-commercial) staff page and want to add a form accessible only via a tab "Contact us" in the navigation bar, which means there is no contact info anywhere link elsewhere on the site. I have the main contact page (the one they want when they click on the tab 'Contact us' in the navigation bar) registered under contact.html. Am I supposed to save only one page under contact.php?
I don't expect a ton of emails since this is a hobby/personal site so maybe I'm trying to 'cheat' a little by adding the code pre-made. Is this a bad idea? I should just form join us DW tool? I love this design simple http://www.html-form-guide.com/contact-form/creating-a-contact-form.ht ml but it doesn't seem to be an html form, it seems to be PHP. I contacted my host and they support php - they said to put the php script in my public_html folder I did, but that didn't work. What is the best way (even once, I don't expect much emails) to add a contact form?

Let's break things down a bit.
(1) HTML forms do nothing. They're just a form with fields and a "submit" button.
(2) in order to collect data and send them to your e-mail address requires a script (PHP).
(3) the script can be integrated into your form HTML and SavedAs page contact.php.
(4) or you can use contact.html and point the action attribute of the form to a separate PHP file.

Contact form, how to hide text and display the clues?
I want to create a contact form, using Dreamweaver. In the preview, it looks all right. But when downloading, I have the following problems:

You don't seem to be incorporate fonts at all. In addition, it may be preferable to use device fonts, try _without _serif either. So I think that you don't have to embed fonts, and the letters are cut.

I need to create a contact form which will also have an address, country, province or State field in a list (as you would when you bought something). I tried looking for tutorial but found none.
