  I have a big problem. I can't log on Skype on my PC (Win 7) application. The password is correct and therefore the username.   No tricks - just download it on the server and link to it. The only thing you need to know is that not all browsers show the form correctly and allow the user to fill out the form and send it by e-mail: If the browser uses the Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader plug-in to view the PDF file, there is no problem, but if you're dealign with a browser that is not no default viewer PDF from Adobe (for example Firefox) , or does not allow the Adobe plug-in to display PDF file, things will not work in the best: the user will most likely download the PDF file and open it in Acrobat or Reader so that your form can work properly. And, if someone opens the form on a mobile device, all bets are off regarding what will work.

  I would like to add to the download link instructions that tell your users need to download the file to your desktop and use Adobe Acrobat or Reader free to complete and submit the form.

  If you want to see why we harangue and rave on not using absolute positioning as a primary tool of layout, go to this site and increase the text size with a click.  It's a mess.  This method is so wrong, I think that now is the right time to rebuild the page.  There is no need of any positioning there.

  I believe that this change will fix your problem "centering".  Add the html rule to your CSS and set the next two rules as shown below.

  There are some problems with the download of ftp through Muse, who knows the team of engineers and those will be corrected in a future version of Muse. At this point, the work around would be to export the html code of Muse and then download via some third party client like filezilla ftp.

• Internal server messages no longer work when published on the web server, but not locally on the web server

  Just upgraded to 8 Captivate and for some reason my server any internal messages is no longer work on the web server.  I can test locally the lesson that always points to the Web server and it works.  Can't understand why when it is on the server it does not work.  The ashx handler that manages to post is fully accessible to the web server and DNS solves very well so I can't understand why he doesn't hit the Manager.  I use IIS to host it and a .ashx for managing for results.

  Is there maybe something new that needs to be allowed in IIS for 8 Captivate work?  .js seems to be fine and firewall is not the issue.  Short of ideas and the need for this work as soon as possible.

  OK, finally solved.  For some reason any run under HTTPS lesson could not publish my results.  As soon as I changed to HTTP the results perfectly. All of this makes sense why I could post locally on the Web server.  Hope this saves someone else 5 days of hell.

• Look at a web page in IE works from a server, but not another

  our intranet is running in display IE 11 compatibility mode. On both servers, the web page solves that correctly and to our production server there are some spacing problems. The two configuration of web servers are set up exactly the same as all the dreamweaver templates, graphics and css code. No matter what I try the text on the production server gets cut off in one place.  In dreamweaver, spacing looks fine in all cases, until you view it on the production server.

• Link on the Web page does not work in published HTML project

  I use 8.01 Captivate and created a project with a link to a URL of page web (I did by the insertion of the text links).  It works perfectly when I publish as an executable.

  Customer has requested that we publish now in the form of HTML/SWF file.  The link URL (set to open in a new window) does not this version.

  I changed the link at a click box with the action to open the web page in a new window.  Again, it works when you publish an executable file, but not when I publish to HTML.

  The OUTPUT of course links also do not work in the HTML version.

  We use IE11 to launch the HTML file.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated!

  It seems to be a problem with the Flash security settings.

  Please follow the steps (these steps are for Firefox and IE) below:

  1. Publish the project to a folder on the c drive.
  2. Open the html of the published output.
  3. Do the right click on the screen and go to global settings.
  4. Go to the advance tab.
  5. Scroll down and click on trusted location settings.
  6. Click Add > add folder and navigate to your published folder and add it. (You can also add full lecteurC so that you don't have to do it again for all projects)
  7. Click on confirm and then close it.
  8. Now, re - open the html file and try to view attachments.

  These parameters are only made when you view the content locally. If you place the output on any server, then you must not make these settings.
