• CSS border-radius rule does not work in IE9

  Hi all.

  I wonder if anyone has a CSS border-radius rule to work with release of RoboHelp's WebHelp/WebHelp Pro in IE9?

  I have tried to create a new, empty project and have used some simple built-in CSS (no external CSS is called), namely:

  and then, in the <>body, all this:

  The result is exactly as expected when viewed as Safari, Chrome and Firefox, but IE9 stubbornly refuses to display curved corners on the div. The same code works perfectly in IE9 when I write it in Dreamweaver.

  I thought that I might have met around the problem when I found a site which proposes to add the following code to the head of <>:

  < meta http-equiv = "X-UA-Compatible" content = "IE = 9" / >

  It seemed to work when previewing the theme with the "Show selected item" button (it looks like a pair of glasses), but when the WebHelp output has been generated, the rounded corners were still left in IE9. The same is true when the output with WebHelp Pro.
  So, is the process of release of RoboHelp do something to remove the application of the rule of border-radius in IE9? By specifying values individual border-radius for each side of the div did not help either.
  I use RoboHelp 9.0.1.232.

  Just did a quick test and it's certainly a bug in IE9. It seems that when you use frameset, the top frame rendering mode is used for all of the images below. Given that the appearance of WebHelp file still use the game of HTML 4 frames, the IE9 rendering mode is on quicks mode or something.

  Solution: Add the meta tag for IE not only your topics, but all of the htm files mode in your output. Try my rendered IE script tags: http://www.wvanweelden.eu/robohelp/scripts/ierendertags. This will add tags to all htm files in your output. Voila, the boundary curves are now visible in IE9.

  A note: I have no idea what standard mode of IE will be at the table of the contents/index/search/etc. of the WebHelp. I don't know if IE9 is already supported by Adobe so be sure to test your WebHelp.

  I used to be able to create the .css files with text edit but now its locked to the rtf format and will not produce a usable file more.

  Look at the preferences and change it to RTF to plain text.

  If you want the background image to display behind the rest of the

When you have highlighted your select code 'Format' in the main menu, submenu, select "CSS Styles" in the submenu next, select "move css rules. This will open a dialog box select 'new style sheet' click on 'O/K', this will then open save lead Panel, select the folder you want the css file to create in and type a name for the file, select Save.

  This removes the css of your html file and insert a link to the new external css file in yourcode.

  Build a prototype page with all the elements of page layout that you are likely to need throughout your site.   Save your document from prototype. Then SaveAs index.html (your home page). Then SaveAs page2, repeat for other pages of the site.

  USNG Webfonts in CC is supposed to be easier, but instead, it's just a hindrance. I find myself deleting lines and includes lines of CSS and closure of many "stylesheet.css" file everytime I want to use a custom. It drives me crazy.

  Unfortunately, there is no option to disable linking stylesheet.css to your code.

  The stylesheet.css is created in the InDesign directory whenever you import once in your site and the police of the links to your pages.

  I suggest you please connect an enhancement request at https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform.

  Also good me if I'm wrong, you may want to than all the fonts that are connected by a single style sheet and doesn't have a style sheet for each time, right?

• According to support Contribute, Contribute cannot work with web pages created by CSS

  I just got the phone with the support of contribute, who told me that Contribute is unable to modify web pages which are linked to the CSS (no problem).  It is crushing new after creating my site of 3500 pages using CSS, in the meantime that others in my program will be able to edit some pages themselves using Contribute.  Everyone can attest to this news? It seems incredible that Contribute CS5 is limited in this way, when more modern websites using CSS.

• Creating a CSS file for a menu?

  Not sure if a CSS file is what I need... I've created a spry menu with many submenus etc..  The site will have many pages that will use this menu.  Is there a way to create a file just to store the flight path images and outline codes, so I don't have to copy and paste into each separate web page?  Also, if I make a change down the road, I don't really want to having to update each page.

  You can use the page test.shtml as a starting point because we know it works.

  Try to add copy and pasting of code in test.shtml index.shtml fragments a bit at a time.  Upload to the server and test along the way.

• Creating new CSS style

  I'm a bit confused between the differnce with class, ID, tag or compound.  I sliced my html out of photoshop and opened in dreamweaver.  Now, the art is in the table in the form of images.  I wish they were background pictures, so I can tap on them.  I deleted the image and put my cursor in the cell.  From there, I hit create a new style.  If I want to add a background image is my best bet we Class, ID, or compound Tag?

  A class can be used on a page, then the id (for example, for a div) can only be used at the same time. So the answer depends on how many times you want the background image to appear.

  Before start you designing your CSS, you really understand how it will work.
