When I select file > new > new Document > HTML, the window frame is empty and when I click on create nothing happens.  I tried to restore preferences as suggested in this post: is more able to create html empty in 2015 for CC, but it has not solved the problem.  I completely uninstalled the program and then reinstalled, but still no luck. I don't want to go back to the previous version as it kept crashing, it's why I've updated. Any other suggestions?

  I must say, I certainly agree with you! The language that has been developed to refer to the technology has become a bit much, so I certainly understand where you are coming, and I'll try to keep my instructions in a straight line forward as I can

  The scan for the Deskjet 2540 software has the ability to analysis of a file, then open it in paint for you, but you can open any file of photo that sweep you the paint. If you were to scan an image as a JPEG (an image file) and save it, you can then open Paint, go to open and then open the image that you scanned only, to modify it or do whatever you want with it.

  You can also use the Paint program to scan the image into the computer. If you open Paint, click on file (or the small Menu button, depending on the version you have - I've included a screen shot below that my description of this button leaves something to be desired ) then from scanner or camera and follow along to use Paint to scan the photo instead of the HP software.

• Why should change an extension to HTML avoid changing

  I have a right click, select 'New', create a text document, and save it. I rename it with an extension of HTML.  Now when I right click the Edit option is no longer there.  When I select 'open with' I get only a list of browsers.  I don't have Notepad or Wordpad in the list. The only way I can get the HTML in the document is to the Assembly as a document DOSX and then paste in the .txt document before I rename it to HTML. After that it is. HTML, there is no more fitting.

  How can I fix it?

  This is a new installation that I change from one computer to the other.  Be allowed to have on two machines, both have the same version of Office 2010 installed.

  After installing Notepad ++ I now now only have "Edit" in the list of options, I also ' edit using Notepad ++.

  My message to know that Notepad apparently did not exist in my system and then download/install it is the answer to my own question.

  I had this problem for a long time on Windows 7. Finally, by pure chance I came across this solution that solved the problem. -Take the shortcut of the property

  You will need to run the "fusion" in the context menu of a reg file, published as part of the solution to change some registry settings. On any folder, you'll get a context menu 'Take Ownership' which restores the property correctly. This solves a lot of problems installing.
