Creating cloud new installation - error Code: 44

Hello

I have a problem, I try to install creative cloud for the first time. I use Windows 10 Pro, Avira antivirus (free version, disabled) and the Windows Firewall by default reset.

The installation of Adobe dialog box opens and displays the download process. It is about 45% and displays an error:

We encountered the following problems:

Installer could not create a directory/fire/critic. Please try to reinstall. (Error code: 44)

I deleted all associated Adobe directory in "Program Files", "Program Files (x 86)", '%Temp%', ' appdata%\... % \Local.

I ran the program 'AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe' which opens then closes immediately, assuming that there is nothing to clean up!

I also run the program listed within the 'Creative Cloud Uninstaller.zip»

I also move the ' CreativeCloudSet - up.exe "file on your desktop and run it from there.

Other help will be appreciated

Copy the CCsetup.exe file downloads for the c: drive.

Once moved to the drive c:, right click,run as administrator and check.

    Step 1:

    Open the c: drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86)------\Adobe "common files".

    Open the Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.

    Step 2:

    Navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe.

    Open the Adobe folder and if necessary remove Adobe Creative Cloud folder. [* important]

    Step 3:

    Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) with the key R together at once, you will get a command window.

    Type below command and press the enter"" key.

    AppData

    Then go to the Local > Adobe.

    Open the Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.

    Step 4:

    Make sure that Adobe Creative Cloud is not listed in the control panel > programs and features. list.

    Then try to install the creative cloud application.

    Let me know if you encounter error once again.

  • Creating cloud - 205 Installation error

    I installed CC on Friday, March 28, but accidentally deleted (I know, I know ) this morning.

    Since then I can not reinstall it.

    I used the CC cleaning tool to remove everything. Rebooted, removed the opm drop between others and still no joy.

    I use a proxy at work and have checked to make sure that nothing was blocked.

    My connection works fine and files can be downloaded without problem.

    Sorted. After you run a trace on our traffic web we determined that it was a problem with the downloaded data trying to be passed through AV software - what obviousy doesn't.

    Error 0 x 80070017 means that files that are copied from the disc are not making it to the hard drive with the same structure, which means that the 'original' files on the drive are modified/changed/corrupted while being copied to the location of the 'destination' on your hard drive during installation. This usually means the installation media has been corrupted or the player can not read the DVD.

    I suggest to create a USB key with the installation files and then install it. You can see the video in the article how to create a USB installation media.
