  Hi jeff when installing creative cloud for office, we have this problem, tried everything but without success on the mac OS x lion the message that gives creative clouds for the desktop application on installation is: 48 error code, a critical file cannot access

  I got creative cloud on my Mac for over a year and a week about ago I updated the app and it has completely disappeared from my laptop. I tried reinstalling several times but my Mac is not allowing me to do. It is a serious matter that I'm a monthly payer of CC and need of these applications for school work.

  There also problems with the latest version of CC 2015? I've updated all my applications such as Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Muse. After the update, I was not able to launch programs, I've always had a crash report. I had a discussion with an Adobe supporter and he said something about good management on the Mac. He suggested trying the Apps with another user, but the the new "textuser", I also had the same problems! Now demoted to the CC for 2014. This version works stable and a fine. • CC in white desktop application

  Since the last update I see nothing but an empty window white page when trying to access the desktop CC tool. When you try to get your hands on adobe (chat, email, phone) support, it always throws me back in some faq until it gets frustrating. I'm trying so that now in place even if there are already similar questions on this problem here.

  I'm runing OS X 10.9.5 and found a lot of answers on how this problem could be solved but none of that (reninstall/uninstall, delete MAO, delete OODB,..) worked. When I uninstall the desktop client for CC and try running Photoshop for example it tells me to download and install Adobe application manager. By clicking on the link and installing the mentioned application Manager gives me an error and tells me to download dow Adobe support advisor who is apparently no longer available.

  When I reinstall the CC desktop client only I can start all my applications of CC and use that without problem but can does not see what application I installed it, those who are in need of an update, how long they are activated and so on. The only thing is the gear on the top icon on the right. What are the options I have is there for this problem?

• Creating cloud membership-Adobe Application Manager install problem

  I recently signed up for the composition of creative cloud.

  I downloaded Adobe Application Manager. (After that I logged on the site of creative cloud)

  I can download applications, extract it, and then it fails to start the installation or is unable to complete the installation. (For example on Muse it will fail to exceed the 16%)

  My operating system is windows 7. There i7, 1 GB, ram 8 graphics card, /specs etc are not a problem.

  I tried to run the installer from adobe cleaner, I uninstalled all adobe products, several times. I have changed the preferences for the location of the download several times. Nothing works.

  Also, I run with adminstrator priv adobe application manager.

  My windows user account is an administrator.

  I waited for hours without any sign of progress.

  The program does not report any errors that it just is not to proceed with the installation.

  ... Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  OK SOLVED THE PROBLEM

  This is certainly not the fix I was hoping, but it works. Essentially a reason any the vcredist exe does not load correctly the internal files in the exe file. What I had to do was use 7zip to extract all of the internal files in the exe file. Then I renamed the primary file inside the executable file that adobe is looking for. Right after it extracted I deleted the default adobe exe file and pasted all the internal files with the primary internal file renamed the default adobe exe file. Worked like a charm

  Certainly a pain but at least it works... Also it took me more than 20 hours to solve this problem. So I'm pretty upset.

  It was adobes fault beause they should of already extracted the internal files in the program instead of being lazy and leave in the exe file.

  (1) right click on the Finder on dock icon and select the option "Go - To Folder."
  (2) you will get a text box, type in below mentioned command and then press 'return '.

  (3) it will open the etc folder, look for file named "hosts" and the same screenshot of office.

  (4) double click on the Hosts file, it will open it with TextEdit.

  Let me know if you see any Adobe related as entries in the Hosts file 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com... etc?
