Creating dynamic objects in Illustrator

Hello

I am trying to learn the characteristics of dynamic forms via Adobe tutorial. It is said to create a rectangle on which the transformation Panel is supposed to appear. It is not for me and when I open the Panel manually there no modifiers corner dynamic form and there is no where I can go to set the value of the angle.

Thank you

Rachel

Maybe are simply not use the appropriate version of I. We do not know. You have not provided any info correct version or other technical details.

    So I do a lot of resizing on several boards of Directors of the art. Each Board of art is a different size, but has the same content and much of the time, we recycle all old designs with new content.  I was wondering if there was an option to change more than one object at a time? Much like a dynamic object, but in illustrator.

    I am also on Illustrator CC 2014 if that helps.

  • order to create object in Illustrator

    Hello world!

    We have a problem.

    We use Illustrator CS 3-4-5 to create vector graphics for print and cut. The machine we use for printing and cutting is a Roland VP 540 and the SoftRip is Wasatch 6.6

    The order create us objects in Illustrator is the that the machine is ready to use to cut and apparently Illustrator who remember very well.

    So on a provision such as 1, 3 x 4 m if we have 300 items of the machine is about to go back and forward several times as objects that we created.

    We would like to know if there is a solution to remove the order of creation of the object. so at the moment where we cut the objects they will be treated as the impression is - progressive.

    Some help would be very appreciated.

  • Transparency of the dynamic object created in Illustrator

    Hi guys! Someone smarter than me?

    1. I created the vector Illustrator object with opacity masks:
    2. I inserted the .ai file saved {by dragging BR} in Ps as smart object.

    But look at the Sun. below: you can see, that the area hidden by using Ia - mask opacity is 100% Demasquee have, but don't you understand, the same area what when .ai file is converted to the dynamic object in Ps? Do you have any ide what may cause this difference in the rendering of the same object?

    Thank you in advance!

    Make sure you use the same color space in both programs and create your mask in the destination color space. It's a problem of color management. This problem is because you use different color spaces in Illustrator and Photoshop.

    Most likely, you have created the mask in a CMYK (text) color space into Illustrator and your Photoshop document uses an RGB color space. Indeed you will have the same problem in Illustrator if you convert your document CMYK to RGB using the file > color mode of the Document or copy the work of a CMYK document and paste it into a document RGB. Having in mind that the problem is not limited only to the conversion between the RGB and CMYK color spaces, you might have the same problem when converting between the two areas of different color using the same color as RGB, for example sRGB template in Illustrator and Adobe RGB in Photoshop. • Update dynamic object in views blurred Photoshop Illustrator

    Hi all

    It is probably a request insultingly simple but:

    I created a map in Illustrator, opened it as a dynamic in Photoshop and dragged object layer in a PSD.

    When needing to make changes to the map, I double clicked the icon of the dynamic object on the layer list which opened the EPS Illustator on the map in Illustrator. Changes, saved and closed - everything goes as planned until this point.

    When I return to my DSP the smart object has updated very well, but it seems all pixilated and blurry. The file has not been moved because I placed the origin of the smart object and nothing I seems to give me a crisp update to smart object.

    My only option, which is a pain, is to open the original illustrator EPS - change - back up and start over in Photoshop.

    There must be something I am doing wrong.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Actually, I meant the window of Options Illustrator where one set of PDF compatibility and other.

    Have you tried to put a file have instead of an eps?

  • Dynamically create QmlComponentDefinition objects in the code

    With QML sample:

    // --- main.qml ---Container {    objectName: "fooContainer"    attachedObjects: [        ComponentDefinition {            id: barComponent            source: "Bar.qml"        }    ]}

    // --- Bar.qml ---Container {    objectName: "bar"    Label {        text: "FooBar"    }}

    I am trying to dynamically create barComponent objects and add them to fooContainer in C++ code.

    So I reference the using fooContainer:

    fooContainer = createdRootObject->findChild("fooContainer");

    But how to reference the definition of QML barComponent to use his method createObject()?

    The definition of the element is used to create the object of QML

    To create the C++ object, you need to do:

    qml = QmlDocument::create("asset:///Bar.qml");
    Control *root =  qml->createRootObject();
    fooContainer->add(root)

  • I'm updating photoshop today and when I drag an object from illustrator to photoshop, the object doesn't turn into a dynamic object why?

    Update photoshop today and when I drag an object from illustrator to photoshop object market not turning into a smart object why?

    OK - think I have this sorted out now.

    When you copy and paste an Illustrator file in Photoshop, you get the dialog box PASTE.

    You can paste as smart object, Pixels, path and shape layer. In the past, you would select depending on what you want (in my case for most Smart Object) and viola - you have your dynamic object. However, in the newly revised version, there is a checkbox in low called "Add to my current library" If this box is checked, it becomes a library file that displays with a 'cloud' icon in the layer. If you uncheck the 'Add to my current library' it won't matter as a regular smart object.

  • Don't want to not automatically added to the library of dynamic objects

    With the update of 2015.1, using all existing documents when a dynamic object is created, or pasted from Illustrator etc it is automatically it adding to a library and sync to the cloud. I don't want this behavior, I want only the libraries contain objects that I purposely put there.  Is there a switch?

    Hi MicahBurke,

    When you display dialog box paste, there is a new option that is checked, the 'add to my current library' downstairs.

    Could you please uncheck the box.

    Please let us know if it helps.

  • Vector smart object inside another dynamic object with loss of quality suite scale

    Hello

    I have 6 icons created in Illustrator and imported as vector smart objects.

    Then, I select all 6 and create another object of Smart from there.

    If I resized now this dynamic object, it loses it s quality, as if the icons are raster in the first place.

    This is not what happened in PS CS5.

    It s a bug or "novelty"?

    Rodrigo C.

    You must realize that Photoshop makes pixels for the embedded object then when you resize the smart object layer it evolve as and layer rasterizes by interpolation not reduced with vector graphics. His work of the layers the way smart object. His is a very old thread on the topic

  • Fuzzy dynamic objects in Photoshop save for Web in JPEG files

    I create graphics, etc. in Illustrator, place them as dynamic objects in a master before displaying file Photoshop save for Web JPEG files as a slide PowerPoint background. Created in Illustrator or Photoshop, everything through this process (quality 80 or 100 with all SfW options on or off) except for the bands are blurred when they are imported (at 100%) in PowerPoint. The only way I was able to get whatever it is crisp in PowerPoint saves a Photoshop pdf file. However, it was only the text created in Photoshop. The part of the Illustrator smart object was still unclear. Someone has an idea on the best process to combine Photoshop and Illustrator files into a single file for import into PowerPoint as a clean and clear background? At this point, I am open to all suggestions.

    PowerPoint, as with all the office applications, use print sizes images and layouts, not pixel sizes. So, your pictures are probably too small to be seen clearly in PPT. according to Microsoft, failure to PPT for images is 220ppi, so if you want them to be clear, work on the actual size (inches / cm / mm) you want the image and save it to 220ppi or higher - no use save for web. Save for web always saves out to 72 dpi.

  • 3D Photoshop CC - how to pack a dynamic object around a bottle

    Hello

    This seems to be a frequently asked question but none of the answers I found wise (I suspect they are for older versions of Photoshop).

    I have a picture of a pot and a dynamic object that is my label.

    If I'm going to: > 3D > New mesh layer > Mesh preset > cylinder - then the label is wrapped around the cylinder and is really perfect - work done.

    Issues related to the:

    -How do I make the cylinder transperant so I only see the label

    -How to get out the window 3D so I can place my label wrapped in the photograph of the jar?

    Sorry for the questions, I'm surprised, that I can't work this out (I have a previous experience with Cinema 4 d and Modo) or find instructions/YouTube videos that make sense.

    Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

    See you soon

    Ben

    Hello

    Sketch for this exercise is to generate a 3D cylinder, creating illustrations to wrap around the cylinder, duplicate, and then modify this work to be used in a mapping of opacity and then reorganize the 3D on a composite element together.

    Then the basic steps, I used to do this:

    (1) new 1024px x 512px, RGB doc/white background.

    (2) 3D > new mesh layer > depth map to > cylinder.

    (3) change the workspace for '3D '.

    (4) in the 3D Panel, choose the material 'Background '.

    (5) in the properties panel, select the texture of contextual opacity and choose 'Remove Texture' (you will add back to step 10).

    (6) in the properties panel, select the background Diffuse texture and 'Texture change... '. »

    (7) here's where you add the label icon you want to bend around the cylinder. I used a layer of text layer w/race style for the jar example. You will also need to scale the width down around 60% to account for the UV mapping stretched on the cylinder. (changes in the factor of scale if you use values of gray instrad of white in step 1)

    (8) when you work as you want, layer > duplicate layer to a new file.  This new file will be used for the texture of opacity that masks the area of the label you want while eliminating unwanted cylinder (ie. cut labels).

    (9) select all the pixels in the layer and edit them to white, and then on a new layer under black fill. It's your new card of the opacity. Save it in a working directory for use in the next step, and close the file. Also, save and close the file of the work of stage 6 & 7 (it is stored as a smart object in the original of the stage 1 file)

    (10) back with the original file from step 1 (with the selected 3D layer) select the material of base again in the 3D Panel. Now in the properties panel, select the texture of contextual opacity and choose "Load Texture... ». Go to the texture of opacity for step 9 and choose 'open '.

    (11) you should now see just your dress-up work of label in a cylindrical shape. You can use the tool rotation of the 3D camera to visualize the different angles.

    (12) now bring your jar for compositing image. Where is manipulating the 3D layer to align the scale and perspective can get complicated. I try to use the tools of camera 3D for this work (with the object overall scaling an exception). I also use the "Illustration" rendered preset Shaded to help visualize.

    I hope this helps out. I left out the details around interaction with 3D layers, but ask questions if you get stuck.

    Kind regards

    Steve

  • Dynamic objects in CS5 behave differently than in CS4?

    I just upgraded to CS4 CS5, and I noticed, what is for me, a BIG change in the way work dynamic objects.

    Imagine this simplified hypothetical scenario...

    I create a new document in Illustrator, with two layers.

    On a layer would be a full 800 x 600 rectangle. On another layer, I would put a small circle of 50 x 50.

    The import thing here, is that the circle could be positioned in the upper left corner with respect to the rectangle.

    I would select the two objects, switch to Photoshop, create a new document to 800 x 600 and paste what I just copied in the document as a smart object.

    Photoshop would treat both Illustrator layers of course, as a single smart object and they would get stuck together, and they would look exactly how they did it in Illustrator - which is the circle that is positioned in the upper left corner of the rectangle.

    Now, I decide I want to hide the massive rectangle in my dynamic object, but I want to keep the circle exactly as it is now in the Photoshop document.

    So I simply double-click to edit the original Illustrator file, and then I hide the layer with the rectangle on him, save the file, close it and return to Photoshop.

    In CS4, the file would be updated to show the changes I had made, then the rectangle would disappear and only the circle would remain - and what is important, the circle would maintain its position. He would stay in the upper left corner of my Photoshop document (the rectangle still exists in the original Illustrator file, but the layer it's on is simply hidden).

    However, when I do the same exact process in CS5, when I update the smart object after the rectangle in Illustrator layer masking, the smart object seems to ignore the rectangle that is hidden in the file, and the solitary circle remaining gets totally offbeat in the center of the file Photoshop 800 x 600. So it is now no longer in the top left corner, where it was before.

    This causes me ENORMOUS problems, because I carefully positioned many many various objects in my Illustrator files which then is moved his place whenever I'm doing an adjustment!

    Is it possible to get CS5 to deal with dynamic objects in the same way that CS4 done in front of him?

    I heard about the Illustrator team. It seems that this behavior is the result of a change in how the framework encompassing is determined for communicating objects. I'll add a feature request for Illustrator, but in the meantime, the suggested solution is to change the opacity of the object to 0 rather than hide the object.

  • deleteLater vs destroy QML dynamic objects

    this thread I know its safe in C++ to use deleteLater().

    even if the user creates a new before that was really destroyed

    the use of components that were created dynamically in QML I am always using. destroy() to remove

    in the most recent samples I noticed that instead of destroy() now deleteLater() was used in QML

    What is recommended?

    and deleteLater() in QML as safe as used from C++?

    If it works well?

    pseudocode

    NavigationPane
    property Page myPage

    pushing the Page:
        myPage = ...created by Component...
        push myPage

    coming back:
        onPopTransitionEnded()
            myPage.deleteLater

    .. If the user hits just the Action of pushing the new Page before destroyed

    It works the same from C++ (explained by ZMey)?

    No matter what happens to the property of myPage after the call to deleteLater won't change that past to the object of this deleteLater was called. It will be deleted again. Actually, a safe bet is to value null edit after the call to deleteLater so that you can not access it again. It doesn't matter if the 1st page was deleted after the creation of page 2. The object real edit pointed to before you change the value of the myPage property is not affected.

    A note on signals:

    DirectConnections have the behavior described above, but if this isn't what you want, you can use a QueuedConnection. See http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/qt.html#ConnectionType-enum for more details on this.

  • How to handle the onTriggered many ActionItem created dynamically

    Hi, I created the ActionItem dynamically using (loop)

    because data is from webservice

    How to handle the onTrigerred?

    If my code is like this:

    for (int i = 0; i)< alist.count();="">

    {

    My page page * = iRoot-->findChild ("SpecificObject");
    ActionItem * action = ActionItem::create () .title (aList [i] .name);

    bool res = QObject::connect (action, SIGNAL (triggered ()), this, SLOT (handleAction (())); what I'm confused because I don't know what action is triggered
    Q_ASSERT (res);
    Q_UNUSED (res);

    my page-> addAction (action, ActionBarPlacement:efault);

    }

    MyClass::handleAction() Sub

    {

    aFunction(); This parameter of function required of aList, said user.user aList [i]

    }

    Do I need to create handleAction() as well as added actionItem SLOT

    But I don't know how much action added because it is dynamic server

    Thank you

    There are a few options:

    Create a single location and connect all the signals. You can then call sender() into the slot to retrieve the object that sent the signal and go from there. You can also use a QSignalMap that maps each signal to a value and send this value to a single location. You can also use QSignalMap::sender() to get the sender object.

    I used the QSignalMap to do something similar for handling created dynamically successfully drop-down lists.
