  When you type information in a form in the DC or Pro Player I can enter text with fields of text etc and then save, close and return later to change the form. However once I use the function "Fill & Sign" to sign the document, and then save, it locks the file and all other fields become editable. Is there a way around this to remove this feature where it becomes locked and instead allows me to change the form after a signature is applied and saved. All the security properties of the form are on 'admitted', there is no restriction. Even though the document is locked all the properties remain still as 'authorized '.

  The signing is FINAL.  You cannot sign a PDF paper advance. Complete and save, do not sign.

  I have a client that handles the different places.  They download media THAT PDF reports in British Colombia through media downloads and fix them so only those with the correct secure area members to see.  It is then the client has a web application that lists all of the locations.  Each of them has 6 x sets of unique documents that must be downloaded and read by site.   Currently I have added 6 new categories in the admin settings, then go to the web application and manually add the code for the category of support library code appropriate.

  Ideal process:

  1 / the customer logs on to an online form to create a new location - they fill in a few fields of info (name or location, address, etc.)

  2 / they choose a "Secure Zone" that the location belongs to a loss of worms down

  Form 3 / hidden fields and then creates 6 x new categories and place the ID numbers of the category in the web application for the location

  Think I'm too ask a lot... but you never know?

  Don't know how to go about this configuration, create categories of the front-end webapps and secure zone allocation is not something you (as a visitor of a site) can do.

  Assuming that they use the XI player or later, you don't need to do something special. These features are enabled by default in this application.

  It is by for the course.

  What you need to do is to activate Reader usage rights by:

  • Open your form in Acrobat Pro
  • Select Advanced
  • Select extend the functionality of Adobe Reader
  • That's all. No reinforcement is required about.

And I just tried to remove the line in my form and it does not allow me to delete or to mark it as not necessary either.

  Currently, there is no way around the field email forms of the Muse. Another option is to have a look at Jotforms or another third-party provider of shape that Muse has widgets for.

  I created a form for a client in Acrobat 9 Pro. Security is set on allow printing and "filling in form fields and signing existing signature fields. My problems begin when you open the form in Reader X.

  I click 'Sign' and fill in the fields on the form. However, 'done sign"never turns living in the sidebar. He remains grayed out. The only option is ' send signed document "using EchoSign from Adobe system. However, simply send a blank form, with none of the filled fields.

  Save under... doesn't seem to be an option, as it will not save a blank copy of the form.

  Side comment: this sidebar is very confusing for the user. What has "add text" for? We can easily assume that the user must click on that in order to fill in the fields. And, there is no need for anyone to sign or "Place Signature" in this form. How can a user avoid altogether?

  You must allow commenting as well. Reader users will be able to add attachments as comments. You can also use JavaScript with Player 11 and DC to automate the process somewhat.

  If you need users of Reader in order to add attachments as Acrobat can, you need to add the right of use of file attachments, but you can't do that with Acrobat.
