Creating tables of Business Objects

Hi, I'm starting a new project using ADF and I created a company schema object connection to an existing database, but without any table created inside.
After defining certain entities that I have configured a module of application to work with this feature, after that when I run this app module it does not create any model within my database.
Y at - it a configuration to do inside the AppModule to this tables for creating component inside the database?

Thank you for your attention.

Right-click in your diagram and choose to generate tables in the schema.

    Hi all

    I want to send a request to a web service (via the SOAP component) which accepts the array as one of the input parameters.

    I am confused.i can set table in the subject of Bussiness, but she accepts no values.how can I insert value in it.

    can someone guide me?

    Thanks for providing the XSD.

    That I can tell that you are using Oracle BPM 12 c.  It's a good thing for you, because the insertion of new elements in an array in 11g is a little more difficult.  Ignore all my previous posts on this thread, because they are needed only for 11g.

    Here's an Oracle BPM 12 c project you can download that uses your XSD and fills the chart "to" inside her: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwqetn0fpi74SE1TM2swR3VJMXM/view?usp=sharing

    Included is a video you can watch that goes through this, but the steps to add items to an XSD based table in Oracle BPM 12 c using Groovy script are:

    1 use your XSD in the thread above to create a new business object in the catalog (remove the '///it's table."comment in your XSD before doing so).

    2. Add a new object to process data in your process that uses this business object (a process known as "amin" in my process data object (I added).  Add another object to process of string data (I added one called "newItemToAdd").

    3. Add a Script of the activity in your process of-> right mouse click-> click on 'go to the Script.

    4 with the dialog script Groovy upward, to add a single element to your table add this Groovy script:

    "amin" and "newItemToAdd" are the objects of load data useful process added in step 2

    Amin.to.Add ("0" + newItemToAdd)

    5. to prove that multiple items can be added to the table at the same time, add this logic below.  The text in the square brackets could be a set separated by commas of string variables that would have been added to the table:

    for (int i = 1; i)< 5;="" i++)="">

    amin.to.addAll ([i + "" + newItemToAdd])

    }

    Why?

    by default, the names of the objects are uppercase.  When you created your table you forced the name to be lowercase by placing the name between quotes.  But when you tried to choose in this one, you have left the name unlisted, then oracle tried to find a table named 'MINIMUM '.    "MINIMUM"! = 'minimum '.

    Bottom line is that you must never create objects with quotation marks around their names, thus leaving oracle create them with the default value of the uppercase names.

    And before you start - no, you don't want them to be lower - or uppercase-lowercase.  It causes simply indescribable sadness that begin you already to experience.

    You can get your results with ' SELECT * FROM 'minimum' ', but you really want to go.

  • Table repository - Business model - 10g OBIEE logical to physical table, column mapping is empty

    Hi, I'm really new to OBIEE 10 g.

    I've already implemented a database SQL Server 2005 in physics and import a vw_Dim_retail_branch view.

    The view has 3 columns: branch_id, branch_code, branch_desc.

    Now, I want to set up the business model to map this physical table (view).

    I created a new business model

    Adding new logic table Dim_retail_branch

    In sources, added the vw_Dim_retail_branch as a table source.

    But in the logical table source column mapping tab window, it is empty. I thought he should be able to identify all of the columns in vw_Dim_retail_branch, but no. The spectacle of the mapped column is checked.

    What should I do here? Each column type manually?

    Hello

    You can drag and drop the columns from the physical layer to layer MDB.

    Select 3 columns and drag and drop it to the logical column created in the MDB layer.

  • Create table form another table in different schema throwing error when dynamic sql

    Hello

    With the help of 11.2.0.3 and was following the issue.

    To create a table in a schema (b) using data from another schema (b)

    If independent run in sqlplus create works OK but same sql in dynamic sql block saying the table or view does not exist.

    SQL even in dynamic sql

    {code}

    v_sql: =' create table new_table in select * from schemab.table_name where...';

    run immediately (v_sql);

    [code}

    Other tables work fine.

    Any ideas - don't want to grant all the schemaa.table schema b if can avoid.

    Thank you

    You run the immediate execution in an anonymous block or a stored procedure?  If it is a stored procedure, then as others have said, the owner of the procedure must have select privileges on granted directly schemab.table_name.

    Another possibility, which would be the case for a stored procedure, or an anonymous block is that your code is something like:

    v_sql: =' create table new_table in select * from schemab.table_name where...';

    immediately run v_sql;

    Select count (*) in the l_count new_table;

    who will fail at compile time because new_table does not exist.

    When you create objects using dynamic sqly you dynamic sql user to reference them in the block of code.

  • Nested table and tables nested inside (CREATE TABLE)

    Hi all

    I have a problem of creation of a table with some types defined by the user at several levels (and therefore the nested tables).

    All first of all objects:
    type top_object is object (
        text_top varchar2(100),
        table_a a_object_tbl,
        table_b b_object_tbl
    );

    type a_object_tbl is table of a_object;
    type a_object is object (
      text_a varchar2(100)
    );

    type b_object_tbl is table of b_object;
    type b_object is object (
      text_b varchar2(100),
      table_c c_object_tbl,
      table_d d_object_tbl
    );

    type c_object_tbl is table of c_object;
    type c_object is object (
      text_c varchar2(100)
    );

    type d_object_tbl is table of d_object;
    type d_object is object (
      text_d varchar2(100)
    );
    Shortly: the SUPERIOR object contains tables A and B. B includes tables C and D.

    Well, now I want to create a table that contains the TOP level object.
    My attempt:
    create table multilevel_table (
      some_value varchar2(100),
      data top_object
    )
    NESTED TABLE top_object.table_a STORE AS data1,
    NESTED TABLE top_object.table_b STORE AS data2
    (NESTED TABLE table_c STORE AS data3,
    NESTED TABLE table_c STORE AS data4);
    Of course, this does not (otherwise I would not have asked you ;)). If I jump the 'second level', so just deleting table_b top_object and, therefore, the "inner nested table' it works.
    But on this scenario more complex I don't know the right way or the syntax.

    I would be grateful if I get any help or suggestion on your part!

    + 1 for recommendation of Hoek of simply not using TABLEs IMBRIQUEES for persistent structures.

    But:

    create table multilevel_table (
      some_value varchar2(100),
      data top_object
    )
    NESTED TABLE data.table_a STORE AS data1,
    NESTED TABLE data.table_b STORE AS data2
    (NESTED TABLE table_c STORE AS data3,
     NESTED TABLE table_d STORE AS data4) ;

  • Creating table in the schema has with the user B and granting permissions to the user C

    Hello, I have a problem fun - we have a large table which requires a batch to make millions of updates, and he needs to finish more quickly. It takes several hours as an update, but a select create table did the same thing in about a minute. Yay! Then we just delete the old table and rename the new table to the former, rebuild all the index and grant select/insert/update/delete permissions to another user who needs access... and there is the problem, Oracle said insufficient privs.

    We have A figure, which is the owner of the table, userid B who done all the stuff of application batch and userid C which performs inserts for a process of middleware. None of them are actual users, of course. We want that user B to do the ETG, rename, rebuild and re-grant of the authorisation of the index. But user B apparently cannot grant permissions on objects in the schema A to user C, even if B has created the table and has the role DBA (not ideal, I know)!

    What's really crazy is that there is no sense unique user b can grant permissions to user C, which is to:

    grant select any table USER c;
    grant insert any table USER c;
    grant update any table USER c;
    Grant delete any table USER c;

    It seems really perverse can create tables in diagram A and even grant C privs "whole table" that user B, but may not grant privs specifically on this object in the schema A, even with DBA privs. I must be missing something... right?

    Yes. By default, the stored procedures are stored procedures from DEFINER rights. If A is the owner of a stored procedure, this stored procedure can do whatever A enjoys the privileges to directly. If A grants B privileges RUN this stored procedure, when B calls the stored procedure, the procedure runs with the privileges.

    I agree point stew, however, re-creating objects in Oracle is generally a bad idea and a TRUNCATE with one insert direct-path, possibly combined with the deactivation and the rebuilding of the index would be more appropriate than a DEC. If you're going to stick with this Assignment, however, that really do in a stored procedure owned by A while B has no need to CREATE ANY TABLE.

  • CREATE TABLE to another OWNER/SCHEMA and in a different TABLESPACE?

    Yes... you can do. For example, a user who has a secret password that you do not want to give... as a schema of the application. User B needs to make paintings/objects in A schema and you want to follow this as user B. First configure Oracles Fine grain auditing and then grant "connect via" user A to user B as follows:
    -----

    SQL> create user b identified by abc123
      2    quota unlimited on users;

    User created.
    SQL> grant create session to b;

    SQL> create user a identified by abc123
      2    quota unlimited on users;

    User created.

    SQL> grant create table
      2      , create session
      3     to a;

    Grant succeeded.

    SQL> alter user a grant connect through b;

    User altered.

    SQL> connect b[a]/abc123@a486
    Connected.

    SQL> show user
    USER is "A"
    SQL> create table a.my_proxy_table
      2  ( c1 number
      3  , c2 varchar2(50)
      4  , c3 date
      5  );

    Table created.

    -----
    See I have connected using the syntax "username [proxyuser]." Also note that user B is by proxy user has, as evidenced by my order 'show user '. The connection through can be granted/revoked as needed without disclosing A goes to B. In addition, your audit tables or xml logs will follow the fact that user B created the table a.my_proxy_table.

    Hope this helps,
    John

  • What is the best (global temporary Table or tables of Type Object)

    Dear all,

    I'll try to refine some code and find that we have a large loop that goes to loop over 100000 times and for each record, it in turn for validation of controls in individual tables.

    I intend to implement all of the functionality of controls using join conditions. I.e. to empty all the data into a global temporary table or tables oracle object type and apply the conditions of verification using join operations, so that I can avoid the unnecessary check for each record.

    If I want to implement this, I want to know what is best. A global temporary table or the Oracle Tables nested.

    Appreciate your response.

    Thank you
    MK.

    If you mean a global temporary table vs a variable from PL/SQL grouping, then 100 + lines is a lot to store in session memory a GTT would be so a more scalable solution. It will give you more options to manipulate the data using SQL.

    Note that a 'table of type object', or 'table object type' can mean a table of database (no PL/SQL) for example "CREATE TABLE MyTable mytype". However, I don't think you mean that.

    Please provide a flash tutorial if you can train a lot of people ask this topic

    Hello

    Use fluid page layout to avoid overlapping of table on other objects. This fluid layout must be set on the container parent (form/subform) of the table. Put also other objects in the same container. It results in dynamic container resizing, whenever the new row is added.

    Thank you.

    Overview of triggers

    A database trigger is a stored program unit compiled, written in PL/SQL or Java, that Oracle Database ("fire") automatically calls whenever one of the following occurs:

    1. DML instructions on a particular table or view, issued by a user
    The DML statements modify data in the schema objects. For example, inserting and removing lines are DML operations.

    * 2. DDL statements issued by a particular user or any user *.
    DDL statements define schema objects. For example, create a table and add a column are DDL operations.

    3. database events
    User login or closing of session, errors and database startup or a stop are events that can call triggers.
    >

    A DDL trigger is one that runs when the DDL is made as in 2 above.

    When you create the table, you run DDL, someone wrote a trigger that runs when you try to create the table, and in this trigger, they raise a user-defined exception ORA-20010: the user is not authorized to CREATE Table to tell you that you are not authorized to create the table.
