• Yet another question "check box in a table"

  Hi everyone - I feel like this issue has been beaten to death, but I'm not super techno and it is very hard for me to decipher the many solutions that have been offered in this forum.
  
  I downloaded and installed the plugin simple checkbox. I want to use it to allow the user to select a checkbox that should be updated then a varchar2 column (1) in my table of database with a "Y" or "n" depending on whether the box is checked. In a simple form of APEX it works easily and without any problems that I can choose the plugin Simple checkbox in the dropdown list of "display as" for a given when creating the form item.
  
  In a tabular presentation there is no option to select the plugin simple checkbox for display "like." So can I assume that this is not supported and so I need to use the apex_item.checkbox function in my select statement?
  
  I tried this and I see a box on my sub form of table, but when I select the check box for a given row, and click Update I get this error:

  I looked at the example of the Dene here > http://deneskubicek.blogspot.com/2008/10/tabular-form-checkbox-for-setting.html, but I just can't believe that this a lot of code is needed to do something so simple.
  
  I have a http://apex.oracle.com sample app installation where I have reproduced my setup:

  Workspace: Leppard
  username/pw: guest/app_1000
  MyTestApp > MyTabularForm.
  The column in question is 'Checkbox' and the db column in Emp is also named chechbox.

  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  The error you are getting is because your column name is different from the column name in your query.

  I changed your query to this ("CheckBox" checkbox)

  select
  "ROWID",
  "EMPNO",
  "ENAME",
  "JOB",
  "MGR",
  "HIREDATE",
  "SAL",
  "COMM",
  "DEPTNO",
  "CHECKBOX"
  from "#OWNER#"."EMP"
  

  Your box was also no definition LOV so I wrote 'Y, N' it

  I use a formula that calculates working hours daily and then subtract a half hour for lunch if a check box is selected. The formula applies with the exception of the time 0.5 being added or subtracted. Any ideas? The box strives to subtract the Boolean value (0 or 1), I just need this value to be represented as 0.5 If you get my drift...

  SUMIF is your friend here.

  

  19 is a footer line.

  B19: = SUMIF (A, TRUE, B)

  Do not forget to reset the format in the cells in column B of the Date and time (as defined in the model) to the number.

I checked the PC with several types of scanners of evil-ware, but none to be found. All hidden and deleted cookies, all DELETED & extension plugins. Remove all instances of Firefox PC and registry, then restored to bookmarks. The only thing that I did not is to remove and reinstall not my favorites.

• Can a checkbox State (true/false) another State (different) check box in the control?

  I am trying to find the answer in the internet and here in the support forums, but so far without success.

  So, I was wondering is it possible to make a CheckBox control (checked/unchecked) other (different) box in the same table.

  Lets say I have a list of items to take on the assignment in the field (in separate lines) in my checklist. Some of these items will be check together so that both can work as one.

  For example - gas generator and fuel tank:

  You can check the box next to "gas tank" if you need to take only,

  But if you check 'gas generator' numbers should automatically check the "fuel tank" so I remember to take it as well to the generator.

  So, please help me with the formula if there is possibility to do so in the last app (OSX) number. Thank you.

  Perhaps you might consider to penetrate your activities field trip.

  

  The elements required for each activity are in another table. You can 'hide' this table by moving (copy / paste) to another sheet. The formulas will adjust automatically.

  Formula in the Input Table C2 (and fill down)

  = IF (B2, CONCATENATE (Required::B2 elements ",", Required::C2, ",", elements Required::D2, ",", elements Required::E2),' ')

  Ignore the additional decimals in the result. These are refills for empty cells in the table of the required elements.

  Strange behavior from El Capitan OS X 10.11.1.

  When I click on the Apple Logo, menus, and check boxes, the action does not stick.

  To open the Apple Logo, the menu appears quickly but then folds upwards, as if I had not clicked.  Pretty well, click on the third, the menu opens.

  In the Finder, when I click on a menu like file, edit, or display, the menu appears, and then restores upward. Again, after three clicks in opens.

  In Safari, on a page Web, clicking on a checkbox does not stick. I need to click three times.  I when in Safari settings to clear the cache, I also checked the box to request the site "don't follow me." And even in the actual application of Safari, the box wouldn't fit.  I clicked it three times before the box stuck.

  I changed the mouse, and this has solved the problem.

When I select the check box for daylight saving time gets changed as the summer time is valid for the United Kingdom.

  I have an old HP Laser 4200 Jet that has been the back BONE of my business! I worked perfectly except for the last two days!

  He give me a "data received press CHECK BOX to print the last page" and print a portion of the last page with or without printing of the

  previous pages! It just started happening! Over the other day, I have my children of girlfriends! Is it possible that they pressed a button?
