creation of realistic grout for floor tiles

Hi all

I'm looking for a more realistic way to the creation of grout.  Basically, what I have is an underlying transparent texture with a grid of 2px sitting on top (stamping pillow)... but it is simply not enough realistic.  I would really like to find a way to add a few serration so that the edges are not so perfect.  I tried the deformation/ripple filter, but has not really look good... He kept sharp corners.  I also thought that the custom shape tool may work if it was a line long squiggled in mosaic in a grid, but which will not necessarily look no more because the corners of the tile will not be rounded.

I am looking for a quick workflow if possible, as the tile size can vary (6 x 6, 8 x 8, 12 x 12, etc.).

The attached screenshot has the original tile on the left side and psd on the right lane.

Anyone have any ideas?  I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

You can try the filter move with a personalized card to travel with some non-monocromatic scale noise (see screenshot).

    I did some research and tried and called and did everything, but can't seem to get my Lenovo to play nice.

    I bought this computer only a month or two before and have placed since my materials of the entire work here so a total rebuild of the system's very unnatractive.

    My main problem is, when I put up Outlook 2010 (expensive full version) with my exchange account that is hosted by Go Daddy (who were very patient with me and all my calls - it was also the expensive full version and all settings have been checked several times so it isn't a fault it), if I config it automatically or manually , the "Windows - Microsoft Outlook security - connection to [name]@[domain].com - looking for credential tiles]" pop box and will not die.

    I have read the forums and I saw that people had success uninstall (or the less disabling) ReadyComm (which was very difficult to find, but I did) and VeriFace I went and made through Control Panel.

    I restarted my computer and VeriFace has obviously not been eliminated, and the message of credential tiles was always there.

    I started my computer in safe mode, fact the msconfig and c:\programdata steps, actually purchased a software that promised to help me remove programs during good behaviour and all nothing is helping.

    I'm at the point now where I just want out of here, all programs from Lenovo (even if I'm afraid of the stuffing something upward) and all the downtime of not being able to use Outlook correctly (and trying to uninstall everything) drives me crazy.

    I actually did call to Geeks2U services, and even they couldn't fix it.

    Why is it so difficult to get around this? How can I make without a comprehensive re - build? Is there anyone out there?

    I do some reading in the tiles credential... my apologies in advance, as I'm not familiar with windows key rings.

    It seems that your research is correct: VeriFace interferes with the authentication system.

    Have you tried to reinstall VeriFace from the site, so that you can do a complete uninstall of it? If this does not work, could you post the errors that occur in your event viewer? There could be an indication as to where the authentication will fail.

    Whenever I try to install something it says looking for credential tiles but it never finds. It has worked well in the past any help?

    I suggest to disable the software for recognition of face, at least temporarily to see if the problem goes away.

    You should also try to ask your question in the forum provided by the manufacturer of your computer.

    Being a novice at scripting powershellCLI from scratch, I managed to put together a script to automate the creation of virtual machines for my ESXi5.1 training laboratory. Some of my orders have been adapted from Luc - D blog. Many thanks for your great blog.

    I have a list of virtual computers that have different OS, memory, CPU, disk, NetworkPort, ISOPath, FloppyDrive etc.


    Here's the routine I created to go after using the help of VMware PowerCLI and the reference and examples of the VMware community. I would like to help to be able to optimize the code to speed up the processing, because it does not have enough in the process, I tried to use the | Out-Null but it does not seem to turn off the output. I also wanted to know how read a CSV file parameters and phase of each virtual machine created by feeding one after the other time it has been fully configured, as remotely via VMTools looking for the existence of a file or setting on a virtual machine before the next VM is created in order--something like a configuration of vAPP. I tried the CSV file, but only managed to partially run my script is included below:
    Finally, when it's time to clean up a script to check if the virtual machine is turned on then turn off and delete the inventory and drive of the virtual computer. (I think I could manage removing relatively easily). Hope my request is not a big ask.

    My question is,

    Your basic design principles seem well - I have a number of applications that actually have "tabs" screens, so clicking on a tab or using the menu swaps from one screen to the other.  You can just push the new screen and pop, that. In fact, here's a menu from a screen, that I am currently working:

    While I haven't looked in detail, but your code dangerous look.

    I've never tested, but I suspect makeMenu is called using the EventThread.  Doing things like database connections in this method will cause you problems.  Do not.  If you need to query the database, do so before makeMenu is called.  Starts a separate Thread and set the appropriate menus if this Thread is not finished.  or block the user interface, until he made.

    In addition, I wouldn't do it in makeMenu:

    You can do it once to the creation of the screen, or better yet, once at startup and save it in a shared domain.

    And avoid lifting heavy objects in makeMenu.

  • Right-click in the start (menu) menu options not available for live tile, why?

    When I right click on a tile that is active in the desktop Start Menu, it's see the check mark on the tile, but I'm not some options provided below on the apps taskbar i.e, 'Run as administrator', 'open file location', and there is no resizing.   I don't see "detach from the beginning ', 'uninstall', 'large' and"disable live tiles. "  What are the options and how to do for their active and visible in the taskbar of the apps?

    Store apps have no locations, you can navigate to (under normal circumstances).

    In addition, Store apps cannot run as "Administrator" because they are sandboxed in a virtual machine, so that they are extremely safe and can be virus.  This is also why you cannot use apps if you do not have UAC enabled: Virtualization provided by the UAC security model is required or the platform cannot even initialize an app in the first place.

  • Creation of the folios for Android

    Dear Adobe community,

    before this started, I get:

    • I'm using InDesign CS6 Digital Publishing Suite,
    • running on a Professional subscription
    • and I'm not a native speaker. So please take pity with me ;-)


    Some time ago, I created ten folios through an application multi-folio with in-app purchases for the Apple iStore, ran into some issues (which have been resolved by Bob Bringhurst, thank you once again) and now I want to develop for Android. The creation itself was easy, that slips are already online, but do not without falling on key issues.

    To define my problem:

    • The splash screen does not. Only, it takes as much space as possible and grows around a third of the screen. Is there a "fit screen" - box, I missed?
    • The graphics look "rough", naked pixels in a sort of 8-bit-look without the edges soft (or feathers), even if they are PDF. I can't convert them to JPEG format, because I use the same folios as I do for Apple.
    • The effects of the erasure of all overlays are also rough. Slide shows, for example, are punching through their content, without letting that images fade out in the next. Maybe it's important to mention: they were created through the slide show option in the Folio Overlay-menu. The same problem occurs with all the contents that appear and disappear. For example: If you activate a card with a button (i.e. telling the app, to pass the object to the empty state 1 in filled State 2), the application takes one second and the map appears hard, smashing into the window from one moment to another, without the bland smooth as it does on Apple products.
    • And after some time, a minute or two, the application crashes, leaving the customer blocked for a moment, before him eject to the main screen of his camera.

    So far, this is my problem. Honestly, I feel that I missed a few easy step, but necessary for the expansion of Android. Now, the look of folios as some pre-pre-alpha release an Android (with dull graphics and blocks every 60 seconds), while they work fine and smooth on Apple.

    I would be grateful for any advice.

  • Impossible to create an action for windows tiles

    As I have done with so many other actions before, I use the menu Insert. But when I choose window > arrange > tile, it does not have to this article. I tried typing "tile" in the Insert Menu Item dialog box and clicking on search, but which translates into effect > Texture > mosaic tiles. That is not the question I want to

    Why can't I choose window > arrange > tile? Or is there a workaround?

    Because of our custom requirements, we create our DBs CARS manually. Due to downtime, we create a listener for each DBs.

    If you are using dbca, all the below mentioned are the things in dbca. But if I used dbca I shouldn't know the existence of the file endpoints_listener.ora... and so on.

    I am new to Oracle 11g Weblogic application server. I worked on the Oracle 10 g application server. I am very interested to BPEL and planning to learn BPEL and SOA concepts in.

    I have 11.1.1.0.1 Jdeveloper, Oracle Weblogic server 10.3.2, database Oracle 10.2.0.3 for windows vista installed on my laptop.

    Now, I downloaded SOA Suite 11.1.1.2.0 and JDeveloper SOA Composite editor. But in the list of additional software required for SOA Suite, we need to * "repository creation utility."

    Can someone give me the link for documentation of what is it and why is it necessary?

    I worked in BPEL in Oracle 10 g and there was no such additional deposit creation utility. I'm quite novice in this technology and planning only to learn that basic concepts of the BPEL (Basic is very widespread word here. I mean using adapters, working with the web services BPEL etc.).

    For this kind of basics and running SOA Suite is the repository creation utility, a mandatory requirement?
    If so, can I install utility of creating repository with my version of the database of * 10.2.0.3 * (because I read that the repository creation utility works with 10.2.0.4 or higher)?
    If not, how can I get the Group of hotfixes to upgrade my 10.2.0.4 Database 10.2.0.3.

    1--> Yes, it is mandatory to run 'Remote control' to install/upgrade using FMW/SOA Suite 11 g.
    2--> you don't need to install the regional coordination unit, it can be downloaded in zip file, and once you unpack this last, it can be run directly.
    3--> "What it is"--> to a higher level, that it's a bunch of scripts required to create storage space related to the SOA/BPEL processes. As you know that BPEL process are with States of the process and their States, etc. must be stored in a database.
    4--> even in Oracle 10g, there used repository, but it got installed by default and the tables created in the database of default olite.

  • Creation of the database for the HRMS 8.9 and 8.49 PT on SQL Server 2005

    I have a problem when running database for HRMS 8.9 Wizard and 8.49 PT on SQL Server 2005. The wizard create the database, create and complete all tables but when trying to create the last display of the script produces this error

    Create view EO_MSGOWNRID_VW
    SQL mode: error 2: 16102
    End: Monday May 10 14:00:06 2009
    Unsuccessful end

    I reinstall HRMS database and run the wizard several times with the same result. I also install Service pack 3 to sql 2005 bu nothing...
    No idea what could be the problem?

    The mistake is not on EO_MSGOWNRID_VW, but this point of view is the last of the build. You need to check the load log file and search for the string "SQL error" or something similar that indicate which view is currently in an error state. After your exit, two views creation failed.

    I just bought a used MacBook Air and wanted to restore the factory settings. I followed the instructions. OptionandPower > remove HD and then reinstall asked for apple ID and password that OS X was bought him, not my I.D. How can I reinstall?

    How do you get an Apple ID?

    When I set up my ipad, my iPad Apple ID was created during installation > xyz to icloud. com

    So far, my understanding is that if you buy a MB opportunity, to set up a new Apple ID link should be used.

    Use w Keynote 6.6.1 Yosemite 10.5.5.  Still a Newbie Keynote relative (although did a lot of work using Pages, old and new versions). Have searched this forum and others online Q & as, but could not find a thread that describes the end result I would like to experiment, so hoping the best-known users of Keynote here can point me in the right direction.

    Basically wanting to know if it is still possible (and if so, how) - based on slides - arrows (up, down, right, or left) have specified trigger different transitions different slides?

    I'd go for the base model is the following: a primary sequence, call them 'A' slides, containing pictures and videos of cases, of which the viewer would frequently have the possibility either "pass" a Sidebar slide with mainly text (call the slides 'B'), or keep 'scroll down' by just a glide-based image.

    Scrolling effect would be establishing as appropriate to the up/down or right/left direction on a Push transition, as well as using a neutral background so that only the content of each slide appears to be moving.

    I'll try to attach an image that I just created in Pages that tries to illustrate what I was attempting to build - but I guess it's all a moot point if there is no way to assign several transitions to any slide, each transition triggered by a different key defined by the author, and each of them advance (or return) to a different slide specified by the author.  Ideas or suggestions on how to achieve something like this - either in Keynote or elsewhere - would be welcome and appreciated.  This is my theoretical diagram:

    The arrow keys on the keyboard are laid down as follows:

    left and key: go to the previous slide

    keys and right: go to the next slide or then generate

    assign multiple transitions to any of a slide

    in Keynote, a transition is a visual effect between two blades (for example push, blinds)

    a build or trade action is a visual effect that is applied to one or more objects on a slide

    The procedure that would mimic what you try to do uses bindings.

    Place a shape on the slide to act like a button, (for example an arrow),

    Click with the right button on the form, select Add a link, then specify the number of the slide. When the button is clicked by the mouse in the game, it will display this slide.

    So for each "main slide", you must create four other slides that linking buttons arrow for.
