• Adobe Muse CC 2015.2 hangs on the creation of another layout

  Hello community Muse,

  (My version is 2015.2.0.877, CL 800959 from this announcement.)

  I preface by saying I think that I looked through so many messages lead to my question before asking the community, but I may have missed the answer.  If this is a new bug, I am happy to bring it to light, but I know the issue can be found somewhere between the keyboard and the Chair...

  If you choose to add the alternative line of tablet or phone (with 'Copy Site Plan' and 'Copy Page attributes' selected), the process fails on the home page with the error cryptic "Adobe Muse CC has encountered an error and will now close"... "Can't get browserWidth on RC special [UNUSED ResponsiveContext]"

  I can't find that last bit relevant to the error message displayed anywhere on the web.

  

  I tried several workaround solutions found in other community councils for similar problems such as:

  -remove the offending page (apparently found by moving the error message on the side to see what page could cause hiccups);

  -delete the contents of the page and try to create a different layout;

  -delete the page altogether.

  -> Removal of the homepage, and then by creating alternative page layout was semi-succesfull.  I'm done with a bunch of pages size phone with my site BG color, and that's all.

  -> Same thing happens if I remove the home page, then choose Add another layout: white size phone pages with my BG of choice.

  Any ideas on that?  Something escapes me?  I said something to be reactive, and then make the fixed site (probably)?

  By the way, shouldn't my content at least still be appearing in the pages of alternative provision after deleting the home page?

  (3) type "~ / library" without the quotes and press ENTER.

  (4) go to the folder named "Preferences".

  (5) go to the folder named "Adobe Muse"

  (6) move the "Local Store" folder on the desktop.

  Muse to relaunch 7) and the new Local storage folder will be created as a result in the re-creation of preferences.

  Let me know if you see no improvement after that.

  Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me. Adobe muse CC 2015 on Mac OS

  On my site, I have a system of horizontal scrolling instead of display different images with my projects section using scrolling mater qooqee widgit. Since the edition it something changed suddenly, so that the images also move vertically but also horizontally on the page when you scroll through it and don't know how to block the page to make that happen isn't more, but also so I can scroll horizontally. I have attached a few pictures below. I looked on the forums and have found nothing that can help.

• Avoid the translation in the browser - Adobe Muse

  Hello!

  I made a web page that contains information in English and Spanish. My mother has their browser set to translate all the pages to Spanish for texts in English are also translated into Spanish. I imagine that many people who do not speak English have this setting in their browsers. How can I avoid this in adobe Muse?

  This adds the HTML codesection of your page master properties (or individual pages).

  It will automatically prevent tranlating the Google/Google Chrome page and also disables the bar translate.

  Hi Ive had this problem for a while, I can't select fonts using the menus side or above, I was wondering if anyone else had experience with this? Typekit is active, it allows me to select recent fonts, but only one weight. This problem is intermittent, but very irritating when it arrives. Congratulations in advance.

• My first experiences using Adobe Muse

  I decided to try out Adobe Muse CC 2015 as my skills base is the design, rather than code (although I am now dealing with pretty basic HTML).

  Adobe Muse tends to be a great tool for a designer, and all those who have a good command of Adobe InDesign find very intuitive to use.

  However, there are some limitations, and in my opinion, it comes to (my key bolded questions):

  • It would be great if you can take other forms rather than just rectangles/squares. This feature could be added?
  • You cannot copy content in front of one format to another without laborious copy and paste that is to say to say Office in tablet or phone (of course it must be resized in any case). This feature could be added?
  • Is it not time for Adobe do Muse fully adapted to at least give users the option of having just set up the office and then it automatically reformats in Tablet and phone?
  • Images placed in the Muse do not look clear until get you a preview of the page or the site in the browser which is a bit disconcerting at first. Could it be improved?
  • Properties of the link broad site do not always appear to be reliable and must be verified in preview mode. Not sure why this happens, but need to watch!
  • Search engines don't seem like Muse sites after the publication citing concerns of script etc. I'm not an SEO expert so don't know don't no why?
  • You have to create your own robots.txt file.
  • You need to create custom 404 pages etc (if you wish) and add to your .htaccess file.
  • A composition/sideshow/animation of text only based widget would be really useful (but must be fully resizable). This could be added?
  • Widgets of forms really need a file attachment capability. Almost all of my clients require.
  • A lot of the free MULIB (Muse library files) I downloaded do not work by 2015, CC of Muse, which is disappointing and frustrating.

  In conclusion, if you are a graphic designer, you can create really beautiful and eye catching websites using Muse, but it certainly has its limits.

• Adobe Muse (2014.3) function 'Add Web fonts' does not not as expected - newly added fonts become unavailable as derivative

  Hello.

  This has also been posted in the community: forum Adobe Muse Bugs.

  I had some odd/irregular problems but they have now become fairly predictable in nature. The question is regarding Adobe Muse (2014.3) and the availability of the web fonts provided through the functionality of the applications 'Add Web fonts '. Once added to perform as expected, then they become "unavailable." Details below. Was a complete creative cloud Subscriber for a few years, so I am quite familiar with the way the system works less some problems that have arisen at the time, including.

  System information:

  Adobe Creative Cloud (full subscription): Version 1.9.1.474

  Adobe Muse: Version 2014.3

  OS X Yosemite: 10.10.2

  Here's a summary of what took place. I will detail the bug as best as I can.

  
  

  1. creation of new Adobe Muse project. Everything is normal.

  2. has chosen to add a new font using the function 'Add Web fonts' in the Muse. A note, my creative application of cloud's race / open at all times (in the mode of file synchronization).

  3. has chosen the new fonts to help above. Everything seemed well (see screenshots below).

  

  4 fonts were also indicated as being "synchronized" in Creative Cloud (screenshot below).

  

  5. as expected, the two fonts have been added to the list of available within the Muse Web fonts (first screenshot below - left). I added the successfully on my site. Well after that a number of hours, I went back to the same menu of selection of fonts within the Muse and the fonts was still visible but the submenu that you'd expect showing various forms (bold, italic, etc.) was not available. In a sense the police could not be selected in the list even if the name is clearly visible second screenshot below - right).

  

  Have no idea what can be wrong. Saved the Project Muse, closed, and then reopened - nothing has changed. Created new project - fonts always menu 'shows', but cannot be used. Find a vague description by using Google to a similar problem (different application) which recommended Creative Cloud Desktop App closing and reopening as a possible solution. It WORKED at first, but the problem, well fixed for a period of time (a few hours at most), will reappear again where we would see once again still not being able to choose two Web fonts. Went up to the Cloud to uninstall then reinstall Desktop creative application. Still not solved the problem.

  Any thoughts as to what this may be would be welcome. Restart the CC application whenever fonts are no longer available is quite a lot of time for my workflow.

• Adobe will make a product Adobe Muse combined with Adobe Edge reflow?

  I love how Adobe Muse works, its simple and very easy to learn. The only issue I have with the program, it's sites that I produce Muse is not a site entirely admissible. I was wondering if Adobe will allow us to implement our own breakpoints in the future as Adobe Edge reflow.

  They work very differently, what I would like (and this section of the forum is not intended for feature requests)

  that when you create a new site from muse, it asks you what type of site you want:

  Reagent

  public static

  blog

  etc... it would be nice.

  or just make it sensitive.

  But I doubt that will happen soon

• Help? This Adobe Muse site file is damaged and cannot be opened.

  In the process of looking for a new program of creation of Internet site, I ran across Adobe Muse that I downloaded the trial version. I was really impressed with it until last night.

  After two weeks of creation and tweaking the company of my wife website, it is time to upload it to the server, but when I tried to open the file I got the error message "this Muse Adobe site file is damaged and cannot be opened. Is there any hope of recovering it, or I have to start all over again? I was after all register change, so small they are, so I wouldn't run the risk of losing changes if a problem arose. I see no problem of disk, and nothing else seems to be affected.

  Any ideas? As I'm only using the trial version, is there any kind of support?
