  The problem can be solved by opening FF and choose the tools... To Add one... Select the SEARCH addon, then choose UNINSTALL FF browser... When asked to restart, then reload the gangsters. It worked for me. The suggestion on the 404 that says to remove the search via Add/Remove programs is completely BS, that research does not appear there.

  Hello, normally these problems are caused by a security/firewall software which does not recognize and therefore blocks the new versions of firefox. If please delete all the rules of the program for firefox to your firewall and let it detect the new version of the browser again.

  Opening the causes of Firefox open a second tab down to make it appear that reads "problem loading page"... the pages I want to see on all sites, well, I just get an annoying extra tab with this message... It seems to have something to do with the Visual data on the pages. My MSN homepage gets old and dies every time I open the page after the re-opening and closing of firefox. It takes forever! What is a memory drain? Each open page in a new session of firefox suffer the same fate.

  Find and stop using hardware acceleration.

  If it is was then delete them all unless you added them yourself for a specific reason.
  
  Generally, there is no need to block cookies outside disabling third party cookies.
