Cross browser - on devices Tests

The Adobe edge inspects the rush on the browsers safari to the case where if the iOS devices or its just of the race on the APP?

AHA. It is something that is not currently a feature of the edge inspect. We don't copy the text field values, choice of menu, button clicks or other javascript events from the browser on your computer for the devices connected. It is a feature that we have considered adding and * power * still adding in the future, so please tell us what you would like to be able to do and how you want to use Edge inspect in your development/testing process.

Thank you

    Here's a question that made me really confused and can't understand the question. On cross browser Test Lab of Sauce, almost all versions of IE on all the parameters of resolution makes my menu bar horizontal in two rows as the "Forum" tab down to the second line. All other browsers are ok. Last week to talk to someone about google, she also mentions that her laptop showed the same thing on Chrome. It is also seen some time in snapshots on some websites when I check for different things for my site.

    Now, I checked my site on all possible from 800 x 600 to 2560 x 1440 resolution on my monitor desktop and all the possible resolution on my laptop on IE 8 to 11, chrome and firefox. They all look good on my laptop and desktop monitor. Site looks as well in a single-line menu bar in a different resolution in live mode on DW. What Miss me here and how fix?

    Thank you very much

    First of all, I would say don't count on the real browsers to test your site (on two different platforms), rather than to services that may or may not use emulators. Services, in my experience, always 'bad enough' I gave up completely on the use of any of them and just test in multiple browsers (IE, FF, Chrome, Safari and Opera) on two machines (Mac and PC) and two phones (iPhone & Android) now.

    Another concern would be html error. HTML errors are among the main causes of the problems of display between browsers/versions/platforms. You currently have 42 errors and 5 warnings. Use the validator to http://validator.w3.org to a list. Once your code is clean, test again and see if the problem persists.

    If it is cleaned up and a real browser presents a problem, after back and we can look more closely in your html, css, and javascript to find a possible reason for her.

  • 37 of Firefox crashes when you use the browser of peacekeeper test

    Hi guys, I've updated my browser Firefox 37 and it crashes on me whenever I use the browser of peacekeeper test. I had no problem using the website in the past. Whenever I update my browser I have run the test to compare previous results as well as compare results with Google Chrome.

    It works very well with chrome, but crashes 2 minutes FF37 test. I tried to run in Mode safe as well, but it still crashes. My plug-ins are up to date and I tried a refresh as well. I don't have any other applications while running the test, just the browser was opened with a tab. I am running Windows 7.

    This is the website of guardian of peace: http://peacekeeper.futuremark.com/

    I sent the Mozilla Crash Reporter.

    Appreciate your help... Thanks in advance!

    Edit: included peacekeeping Web site.

    Hi @user293, @jscher2000 , and @cor-el, thanks a lot for your comments and help with this question, I've had. I tried to disable WebGL and ran to guardian of peace, and it worked well. There is no crash.

    How to disable WebGL: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardwar...]

    I guess now disabled shouldn't really pose a problem for me? When the new version of Firefox was released in may, I'll turn on WebGL and see if this problem has been resolved.

    Thanks again for your help guys... it is very appreciated!

    Edit: help link included for deactivation WebGL

  • iPod 120 GB Classic is recognized by iTunes, but it will not be synchronized. I ran the diagnostic. The connectivity of the device test showed the iPod, but when I ran the test of synchronizing device, it says that no device was found. It didn't Sync befo

    I have a version of the software running iPod Classic 2.0.4 of 160 GB. The iPod has not been synchronized for more than a month. I did diagnostic tests today. The connectivity of the device test showed the iPod, but when I ran the test of synchronizing device, he said that there was no iPod found. I checked and installed new updates, but it is not always sync. I restarted iTunes and computer, but it is not always sync. I ran a diagnostic on the device and it showed that it was operating normally.

    The iPod must be configured to synchronize automatically.  If this is not the case, click Sync does not synchronize no matter what.

    Select the iPod in iTunes, so that you see the iPod settings screen in the iTunes window.  Along the left side of the window, in the sidebar, under settings, click on music.  To the right, you will see a settings screen of the iPod music , where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.

    NOTE: All the songs on the iPod that are NOT in your iTunes library (on the computer) will be lost.  If all the songs are in your iTunes library, no problem.

    At the top of the window, check the box to Sync music.  This enables automatic synchronization.  Below, select the option to synchronize library of ensemble music, if you want to 'all' in your music library to sync.  At the bottom, click on the apply button.

    From now on, when you make changes to your iTunes music library (like add new songs or update a playlist), iTunes automatically updated the iPod with the same changes when you connect (or click sync , if already connected).

  • Cross browser issues

    I currently have problems with cross browser compatibility. My HTML code works fine in safari, but not in firefox. Whenever I run my site at Fire Fox that the background appears biased. Help, please.

    The first thing you could do is to validate your markup by clicking on this link:

    http://validator.w3.org/>

    When you have corrected all the errors thrown by the validator, then you are likely to find that the page seems correct based on its markup, your skills and your imagination.  The rest is to sit tight and pray the Almighty Adobe.

  • Real device Testing - phone LG G3 - how to fix?

    To test my HTML5 site under construction, a friend with a LG G3 phone signals is not able to open the site from a link. The link works fine on all products apple, iPhone, etc...

    Site contains a Javascript music player, I don't think this is the problem because the site is fairly simple and should easily load the front page in any browser. What steps should I take to track down the fix for this device?

    TIA,

    What they see instead of your site?

    Is there an error message given?

    Or do you mean that the image map link does not work when they type to go to the page with the image of the big list?

  • Dealing with problems with cross-browser text sizing

    Recently, I created a web page in a container of witdth fixed 960 px which looked fine on my computer.  Then I noticed on a couple other computers than the text inside the div inside ran out of room and could not be read. The reason was that these other computers had their text browser the value larger or largest size. I had designed the page based on a medium text size in firefox and ie8.

    Here's my question: what is the best plan of attack to create a page with a lot of content and several containers that is not affected (or significantly affected) if people have different settings on their text sizes?

    Here is a link to the site I'm working on: http://gigharborrealestate.com/homes-for-rent.html

    Thanks for your thoughts.

    The web's user-centric.  You can't control what browsers, preferences, devices, screens or text-sizes people use. If you need to create your layouts with all this in mind, keep the height of flexible layout and test all major browsers with different parameters.  In fact, it is not as hard as you may think.

    The height property is a restriction in all browsers except IE.  Avoid the use of height on all divisions with text in. If you reveal a background image, using Min-Height for browsers that support and a notch or conditional comment for pre - IE7 browsers that are not.

    {#divName}

    min-height: 400px; / * for modern browsers * /.

    _height: 400px; / * for pre - IE7 only * /.

  • Can we use SQL Qwery browser to the test database. ?

    Please someone help me with this. Is it possible to do the test using SQL Developer database? Can I do both front-end and testing of the database at the end of return?

    Published by: 883660 on Sep 7, 2011 03:25

    Well, if this isn't SQLDeveloper so your best ask in the forum of SQL query browser.

    In addition, you must define better this kind of tests you need to perform (for example if you need to test stored procedures / packages or a web application running on top of your database).

    SQLDeveloper can help you create unit for PL/SQL procedure packs and other tests, but may not be able to test other things working on top of the DB.

  • How to keep content the same cross browser?

    Hello

    I put my site on the way I wanted it looks, and I was going to start adding content when I tested in several browsers and realized that it is not the same aspect. It seems Flory in IE, Mozilla and Chrome, but not in Safari. Also, I think that my biggest problem is that when you change your viewing window dimensions, the logo and the bar manu seem to "flow" or change with the change of deminsion, while the sidebar and the content remain static. I've been messing around with positioning and I tried to use absolute, but I don't think I use it properly.

    I would like to be able to 'restore down' or unmaximize my browser and have all my content, change of position on me when I do.

  • Cross Browser Support HTML5 forms

    Hello

    Is there a bootstrap available from adobe that I'm missing that will make it so all the HTML5 form fields works with all browsers?

    HTML5 form fields also have little support, but it is available in the form of insertion.

    Right now I use an open source uniform HTML5 form "bootstrap" called Polyfiller

    Just seems like Dreamweaver must have something to take care of this atomically if they add weak support HTML5 form field inserts.

    Thank you

    I wish good dreamweaver to have some kind of entry widget "bootstrap" HTML5 for use directly with their forms of insertion.

    It's nothing I need or want personally. I use my own form of validation as relief (only PHP or jQuery Validate).

    Feel free to CREATE ONE IDEA for her.  You can find it under ACTIONS in this forum.  If your idea is enough "the voice", the development team can be added in a future version.

  • Problem CSS - Cross browser

    I created a CSS / XHTML Web site.

    I put the content background white with a border gray fine pixels. This background displays in Internet Explorer, but not in Firefox.

    Click here to see the page.

    The right way to solve this problem would be to change that-

    {#body_container}
    Width: 990px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
    border-right: 1px solid #CCC;
    border-left: 1px solid #CCC;

    }

    {#body_container}
    overflow: hidden;
    Width: 990px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
    border-right: 1px solid #CCC;
    border-left: 1px solid #CCC;
    Clear: both;
