  You're missing ExtensionData starting from the operating system objects, i.e.

  I think that what you mean by "auto-fill" is that the application that you use to open the csv file, for example MS Excel does not automatically the full content of each field that the column widths are too narrow. A csv file is a text file with each value separated by a comma, try opening the file in a text editor such as Notepad to see.

  I work with a client with a cluster of OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1 with 2 nodes. Our client wishes to install OBI APPS 11.1.1.7.1 on it. (I already installed OBI APPs on a single node without problem)

  My Question is simple: can I install OBIAPPS in a cluster environment? If Yes, when set up, should I run "configApps.sh" on each node, or just on the first node? I ask this because I know that the configuration edit the field, but also the coreapplication (presentation server).

  I'm trying to deploy the RPD in the cluster environment.
  
  What I need to copy RPD improved in all three files. 1 (common shared folder) folder folder 2 (SPR location on computer 1) and the location of the RPD file 3 on machine 3. How to do it.
  
  (2) after the deployment when I check-out and make some changes to the RPD. and come back. It only writes the changes to the shared folder (folder 2 (or)) file 3 (or) all of the above. Please let me know how this stuff of woks.

  If you use 11g, then simply copy the RPD in a shared folder and in EM just provide the path for the same thing. So when you restart services OBIEE it will automatically copies of folders on the local computer (/ repository) and even the changes online gets reflected in the same way.

  If you are using 10 g, then you just need to copy RPD on both local machines and if you do any Exchange online will be reflected to the master server and files copied to the folder, so you must restart the server secondary inorder to reflect changes to the RPD to server 2ndary online using shared folder

  Looks like you are using a service pojo quartz Scheduler and if yes, you can use the "weblogic.cluster.singleton.SingletonService" interface and call the interface of your Planner within the method 'enable '. This interface provides support for failover as well and creates a single instance of the service.

  I'm running short MachineA and MachineB with separate MDEX engine.
  Cluster dgraph is implemented on MachineA with MachineB, so data will be updated on machineB when I run the update of baseline on MachineA.
  I installed the Manager experience on MachineA and created a few pages using Workbench.
  The rules are getting fired for MachineA without updating the base, but I noticed that even do not work for MachineB even if both machines are clustered.
  When I run update MachineA rules-based work with MachineB.
  
  
  How it is possible reflect changes based on the two clusters MDEX engine without running the update of the base.
  
  Please let us know your suggestion.

  I have to install Oracle 11R2 in a cluster of HP - UX environment.
  
  Environment:
  HP cluster
  HPUX 2 nodes with local ORACLE HOME (binary in the file system local app/oracle...on)
  2 shared storage with DB data files
  2 DB 11.2.0.2
  
  HP cluster is not yet installed.
  I installed the Oracle engine on every node following "Setup Guide" fast Oracle Database 11 g 2 for HP - UX.
  Then, I created data bases only on node 1 node 2 has not yet configured storage.
  
  Is this correct? I have a special procedure to install Oracle Clustered hp?

  Hi Alessandro,.

  First of all, I guess you want to create the environment of high availability and have Oracle running in active/passive mode data.

  There are a few assumptions, you should take care of that:
  0. do you have a binary Oracle installed on both servers.
  1. do you have a virtual IP address that will serve as the database and LISTENER configured to run on it.
  2. have you shared storage, few options here: filesystem for Cluster (CFS), shared LVM or ASM.
  3. do you have an HP ServiceGuard 11.19 installed on both servers.
  4. build a ServiceGuard cluster between the two servers.
  5 create a package and configure it to run the Oracle database, it's database, the name of the listener, oracle asm home home and so on.
  6. something that must be done manually: copy pwd {SID} .ora, create .ora init {SID} file to point to the SPFILE, create directories of dump. The same applies if used ASM.

  Basically, these are the steps major and mandatory to have a package of SG running with Oracle Database 11 g.

  BTW. Was thought to describe the procedure and display it on the web, I was not sure if there will be a hearing. Now I see that it would be a good idea.

  The Cluster Server allows up to 16 servers from Oracle's BI in a network domain to act as a single server.

  Schedulers can also operate in a cluster, however configuration that only one instance will still be active...
  Active Scheduler. An active task scheduler is an instance of Oracle BI Scheduler cluster actively dealing the Scheduler tasks. The Cluster controller determines the active instance during execution and informs the Scheduler for this instance cluster.

  Inactive Scheduler. An idle task scheduler is an instance of Oracle BI Scheduler cluster that does not actively Scheduler tasks, but is ready to take over active programmer failure. An idle task scheduler is idle at all other times.

  Just one last point. For WLP 9.x and 10.x, this is NOT necessary. 9.x and 10.x, to be the opposite. Do NOT target no matter what Server Admin apps portals but only targets to the Cluster. Because that by default for 9.x and 10.x, when you create a cluster, all shared modules are targeted only to the cluster. Therefore, we target portals apps also only for the cluster. JUST in case for some reason you wish to target portal app server also Admin, FIRST you must target all modules common to the administrator of the server, and then deploy your Portal Server admin application also. Remember that it is only for 9.x and 10.x. So incase if you have plans to improve in the future to 9.x or 10.x, please add this note somewhere in your design document or spec.

  For 8.1 SPxx, as mentioned earlier, please target both Admin and complete Cluster.

But if the server goes down due to unforeseen circumstances, the programmer does not work. So, we need to configure the failover scenarios and to deploy the cluster Planner.

  Hi Maanik,

  As you rightly pointed out, for the implementation of the Scheduler in a cluster environment, you must set a job in a JDBC quartz, store and run scripts of quartz for configurations. But if you do not want to because of the overhead in maintenance and require another data base for the installer, weblogic provides an interface called "SingletonInterface".  You can implement this interface and override the method 'activate' with the quartz Scheduler code and in this way, it supports failover in a cluster environment. You can now target your application to the "cluster" rather than the "AdminServer.
