Satellite P850 - 3 repeated Crysis crash to desktop
Hello!
I recently bought a:
Satellite P850 - 31L
Part number: PSPKFE-00P007ENand I'm very happy with the laptop overall. However, I have problems running 3 Crysis and Assassin Creed 3 on the device.
In both cases, that they often crash to the desktop and are followed by a journal of events applications such as:
The failing application name: crysis3.exe, version: 1.2.0.0, time stamp: 0x02f47040
The failed module name: d3d11.dll, version: 6.2.9200.16420, time stamp: 0x505a95af
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Offset: 0x00068dd7Its pretty easy to see that the problem is related to DirectX 11 on the nVidia card.
I have a laptop specifications lower HP with a 230M nVidia GeForce series running Assassin Creed 3 without problem (although it won't run Crysis 3 due to the lack of Dx11 support).
I have tried to update the drivers for nVidia display current offical those on Satellite, but am prevented from doing so because of the soft lock used in Toshiba hardware.
I am currently using the drivers of December on the Toshiba site.
I wish I had a solution to this problem as I know that the laptop is more than capable to run these two games more than adequately. My guess is it's a tension within the video memory, but not problem can not test what I do not have a pilot exposing this.
Thanks in advance,
Crispian

nVidia Driver can be installed in the Device Manager, but the use of these drivers is at your own risk.
To install the driver through the Device Manager:1. open Control Panel.
2. in the upper left of the Control Panel dialog box, click the words 'Classic view' causes the control panel to switch to Classic view.
3. double-click on the icon customization and - after the Customize dialog box is displayed - double-click the display settings option.
4. click on the button Advanced settings of the display settings dialog box.
5. to the map of the dialog box tab advanced settings, note the exact name of the adapter type that is currently in use. This can be important if you ever want to return to this driver.
6. after jotting down the name of the existing adapter type, click Properties. If Windows asks you for permission, click on continue.
7. click Driver tab, then click the Update Driver button.
8. Windows will ask if you want to automatically search or search for a software driver. Choose the option "Browse my computer for driver software".
9. in the next dialog box that appears, click on the option "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
10. a list of video drivers will appear, and you must scroll to the bottom and select Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. Click next after making the selection.
11. Once Windows indicates that it has updated the driver software, you can click Close or Ok many times that you should close all open dialogs of the control panel. If, during this process, Windows asks you if you want to restart your computer for the changes to take effect, click Yes.

Qosmio X 770-Crysis 2 fails and an eye glued
I have a Qosmio X 770/00 X PSBY5A-00X01D
When you play Crysis 2 with the new pack of DirectX11, 3D fails. An eye gets stuck (watch the same screen). Google results talk about updating the nVidia Driver, but it won't support Nvidia. Download of the update says that there is no compatible product. http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Using the automatic update script results in an error (says that you need to get the driver from the manufacturer of your laptop).Currently installed version is 268.51
latest version of nVidia's 275.33Looks like we have to wait for Toshiba to release a update of the pilot or anyone know how to change the 560M from nVidia another way?
Hey,.
Yes, you should wait until Toshiba goes out an update of the screen driver because the drivers of Toshiba are pre-tested and have protection against overheating. Installing the nVidia Driver arrives at your peril, because it can overheat your graphics card.
It would be possible to install the nVidia Driver but in your case I don't it. With the Toshiba drivers, you are on the safe side.
All I can think of updates the version of DirectX if you have an older version but that s all you can do.

Crysis freezes Satellite A200 1AH on dx10.
I have the satellite A200-1Ah... Vista Ultimate version. GPU is Ati Mobility Radeon HD2600. Crysis freezes every 3-5 minutes. Tried all the new drivers, patches etc... If I play Crysis dx9 mode by the shortcut without problem... Waiting for your help. Thank you...
Hello
It looks like a common problem with Vista.
I read a lot of reviews and articles in various computer magazines on the Vista and gambling problems
Several weeks ago, Microsoft released a patch that fixes some issues with the support of Multi GPU on Vista. This is useful for users who use the computer gamer with 2 GPU
http://support.Microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3ben-us%3B936710Also, Microsoft has released patch which solves the problems with the use of virtual address space. It is a reason why some games crashed or didn't flow normally.
Use of the virtual address in Windows games development space
http://support.Microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3ben-us%3B940105&x=11&y=9I hope that helps!
PS: on this page you will find an interesting discussion about the game on Vista OS
078 http://www.Computerworld.com/action/article.do?command=viewArticleBasic&articleId=9011 & pageNumber = 1I think that the new Vista Service Pack 1 will solve most of the new Vista bugs now the SP1 Beta is available.
The final version should be out next month.Good bye

Crysis does not work on my P200 with HD2600 card
Hello
Y at - there a patch to make the work of 'Crysis '... CZ when I start the game everything is going really slow: s even with Gears of war that gives an error at startup...
When I start the game it will slowly: s and I can not play... before I return to the store, I would like to know if there are tasks or if there is anything I can do?
Sincerely,
FrédéricPlease don't be angry with me, but have you read in some magazines on gaming sites on the hardware requirements for the success of this game or games?
In my opinion, this game was released a year too early.
As far as I know that you need a desk top PC range with a processor of high performance (which is perhaps too overclocked) and the newest and strongest GPU with a module of own cooling.
Maybe then you'd be able to run this game without any graphics stutter.I have only a single reference;
What you could do is to test some graphics drivers from the 3rd party sites such as;-www.omegadrivers.net

Can't play CRYSIS and GEARS OF WAR on portable computer with card Nvidia 7900 GS?
I wonder if anyone here have the chance to play two games CRYSIS and GEARS OF WAR on PC Toshiba laptop with Nvidia 7900 GS cards.
The reason why I asked this question-> because I have 2 problems:
(1) GEARS OF WAR first need new driver for Nvidia telling me this massage * to run Gears of War with your current hardware configuration, you must install the following software update or updates: *.
* + NVIDIA ForceWare 163.44 driver *.
* If you do not install this software, at some point, the game ends and your progress will be the lost.* and give me another massege when I click on play
the massage is * this application has failed to start because xlive.dll not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem *.
(2) on CRYSIS game working, but with very poor quality and a few fast breaks during playback I tried to graph affecting minimum put the same thing happen...
I hope that someone here can give some advice on the above issues, and a suggestion for a new driver will be appreciated ;)
see you soon
abmanHello
_ _Regarding point 1)
Check out the www.laptopvideo2go.com site and to update the graphics driver!
This site contains some useful nVidia drivers that can run on laptops.
But note; pilots can be used only at your own risk!_ _Regarding point 2)
Crysis needs huge resources for laptop. I think that the card Nvidia 7900 GS is not strong enough to run the game with full graphic details!
I read on some game sites that you need a desktop PC of very high technology with that of the new series of nVidia 8600 to the smooth running of the game!Best regards

One of the problems causing my crashes Crysis DX10 was a bad stick of RAM. I had to test each stick individually with MEMTEST86.The first time all the sticks passed but after continuing crashes, I retested and found a bad stick. Another thing I noticed was that many accidents have occurred when my clumsy fingers were depressing too many keys at the same time. Crysis has a lot of problems even with the newest and the best material of today but still lots of fun when it works. -
HP Pavilion M9150f upgrade to the game "Crysis warhead.
I'm planning to upgrade my PC to play the game 'Crysis Warhead'. Currently, the PC plays the game OK but, I would like to improve the chart. Could someone help recommend the compatible update graphics card and PSU. I had to buy something else? I am concerned if the new card graphics and able to fit inside the tower PC POWER supply. How easy is the replacement procedure. Thank you.

Memory - 2.0 GB RAM
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS / 640MB or similarFish, welcome to the forum.
Crysis - Warhead is a resource hog. So I'm not surprised that you want to upgrade.
In smaller cases of average size, it is advisable to stay less than 9 "for the video card. Anything longer will be questionable. I like XFX, BFG, EVGA, Sapphire and PNY in that order. The XFX card in the link I provided is perhaps not one you want to buy. However, it is a good example of what to look for on a card for your computer. I love ATI based cards because they have their Catalyst Control Panel software. It allows you to adjust the fan speed and overclock the card if you wish.
Now for the power supply. I love OCZ and Corsair. Any standard ATX PSU must fit into the housing. However, I always recommend measuring the PSU existing and comparing measures to whichever you choose. The PSU is the backbone of the computer, I always recommend high quality maunufacturers. Both cater to the enthusiast/gamer community. Their products will provide a clean and stable power supply for your system. Read the reviews from customers on all products. Comments will give you the history directly on products without exaggeration of the manufacturer.
If you need help, let me know.

Run Crysis in 32-bit Vista Home Premium
Recently, I installed Crysis Warhead on my Vista (32-bit Home Premium) but it does not work. When I run the screen just go to the black screen and again back to windows but it has already run in the Task Manager and I can't close it. I have to restart windows to close. I have try on windows XP and it works properly. What is the problem? What should I do?
I would recommend that you update your graphics drivers and the DirectX runtime components to their latest versions. Try this:
2. download and install the package of DirectX update3. after installation, restart your computer4. go on the site of the manufacturer of your PC or the manufacturer of your video adapter to obtain the latest version of the video driver5. download the package from their Web site and install them. Subsequently, you MUST restart your computer6. then try to run the gameLet us know what happensThank you!Ryan Thieman

animebuster,
For error that you got with ProtoType, I found some information on our site MSDN (which is intended for the developers). Here is the explanation of this error code:0XD1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
The DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bug control has a value of 0x000000D1. This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory with a high IRQL.I suggest you check that all your drivers are up-to-date.

Is it possible to allow ports through the NatAlePortFilter, or disabled in Windows 7? It prevents Crysis 2 to bind to a port.
Hello
I thought I would provide an update to my problem. After reflection, I realized that the 'Base filtering engine' service was stuffing up and realized that a restarrt was all that necessary. Whenever I have the question, all I need to do is to restart the service, and that solves the problem of port binding.

problems of Crysis 1 has No black screen now.
I've seen a lot of answers to questions indicating that crysis 1a given accidents to black screens on different o.ses that I had windows 98 XP and Vista and my copy of crysis 1 never gave me a problem unless I used too resouluton that my graphics card could not overcome. So its fustrating it seems that anwser people see that it may have something to do with the fact that the crysis 1 submits this list operating systems to start up will not have windows 7 or the latest graphics cards. I am however trying to operate live 9 and with windows compatatbility for xp service pack 2 and 3 becaused I liked X.P more. I would get an arrested response and a .dll D3d10 fault as if I was running in vista. Now, I know that windows 7 is live 11 my video card is a 10 live and my motherboard is evaluated to opporate windows 8 could this be a problem every thing should be for x 11 direct., or you see something wrong with this system.please help someone.

OK - I quote your new thread, so I can read all the information on one page - stick with a wire on a single topic in the future. It avoids the confusion and repetition of the suggestions.
«I tried everything everyone else has, it just that someone has said that there crysis1 and can play on a 32-bit windows system.» It does not say something on his record or how he got that works perfectly, I guess it's the only one who says it works in 32 bit, all others, say if he to work ultimate 64 bit, why does. I'm using windows 7 32-bit professional. Oh, also instead of use oide im using A.C.H.I put sata up.in my bios it would have something to do with it. IM is not running in parrellel but serial.data flow. »
Nothing to do with AHCI, 32 vs 64-bit or your motherboard is compatible Win8.
«However trying to boot into 9 direct mode and with windows compatatbility for xp service pack 2 and 3 becaused I liked X.P more»
Compatibility mode does not make Win7 run like XP. In addition, it is not for you to determine which
appropriate compatibility established by your bias towards XP. Use what works.
A strange thing with this game is it will run in 32-bit mode with no compatibility setting, but requires a consistency when using the 64-bit .exe - I use Vista sp2 with 64-bit .exe."I would get arrested response and a .dll D3d10 fault as if I was running in vista".
You choose the game settings are what determines if the game uses DX 10 not the operating system.
Some of the very high settings are DX 10. When the gpu is not capable of DX10 these options would be
not be available.
Vista is the first to use DX10 and Win7 is first of all to use DX11 does not mean that they use also
DX9. Check your System 32 folder and you will see many files d3dx9.
Monopoly$ oft seems to think it's a good marketing advertising just the DX10-11 concept with
Vista and Win7. A confusing marketing concept. With that cleared up - tell us exactly what is or is not happening.
EG - accidents to black screen when? When you load or playing?
It is the only game of the problems?
You always use the same settings when you played the game under XP or have you tried
using the highest setting?
-You have all Windows Updates "Important." There are several
Games related updates in addition to sp1 which is a must have.
