  I started to import my photos from a computer disk using lightroom. I then use the bridge to get a glimpse of my files and remove unwanted images. When I return in Lightroom the images that I deleted were still seen in the catalog. How can I get rid of the other previews that manually going through all and removing now unwanted previews.

  Hi Eric,.

  I think that the easiest way is to select 'Library' > 'Find all missing photos', then 'Edit' > 'Select all' then 'Photo' > «Delete pictures...» ». You get then a message to confirm to delete the photos and images of masters cannot remove because they are absent and where you have published one of the pictures with the help of a publishing services you get another message on this subject. Confirm and you should be done. I would really consider sorting and removal in Lightroom, even if you don't have to worry about all this.

  If you have forgotten your password, if you have another user who has administrative privileges account you can log in to that account and change the password of your account of origin of the user accounts applet in Control Panel. If you do not have another account like this set upwards or that you do not have the password which you will need to log on to the built-in Administrator account. In XP Home, start the computer in Mode safe. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. This will put you in the right menu. Navigate using your arrow up; the mouse does not work here. Once in safe mode, you will see the normally hidden administrator account. The default password is white.

  In XP Pro, you don't need to go to Safe Mode. In the home screen, do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to get the classic Windows logon box. Type in "Administrator" and the password that you assigned when you set up Windows.

  If you reset the password of the account administrator integrated into house or have Pro and don't remember the password, use NTpasswd to change the password of the built-in to a white administrator account.   Photoshop CS5 to read files from Nikon D750 to atleast Camera Raw 8.7 or higher.

  However, I believe that you would not be able to update Camera Raw, so you can download and install the DNG Converter and convert the files to DNG.
